The signature cocktail menu they created was delicious, fun, unique, and memorable - managing to somehow mirror each drink with a non-alcoholic version to accommodate our sober selves, friends, and family. We still are getting feedback on just how wonderful the drinks were. Side note, every single bartender Karen brought with her, was so kind to me, had lovely things to say, chatted, joked, and just overall created such a good vibe, that the party wouldn't have been the same without them. We've gone to this bar for years because of the great mocktail service, and it was so wonderful to have them at our wedding, providing the same great service they have for years. The night we went was their weekly karaoke night which we didn't know ahead of time, but it was fun! It seems to be a group of regulars who like to sing and the vibe was fun and laid back. The employee running karaoke was super nice and friendly and overall the whole place had really good vibes. I think we'll definitely be back next time we visit Burlington!

Everything is $5, from the drinks to the only food item on the menu (chili mac) to their T-shirts. We got a few drinks each, which were nothing fancy, but they're also $5. This isn't the place to get a sex on the beach or a martini, but if all you want is a beer or a rum and coke, it does the job. We sat at the bar and had a nice chat with the bartender, who is also one of the co-owners. After a couple of hours, I was getting hungry and decided to try the chili mac. It came piping hot, probably from the microwave, and was decent. It's more of a soupy chili than the mac and cheese that I was expecting, but I still enjoyed it. There was a steady stream of older college-aged kids coming in while we were there, and they all seemed like regulars. The place has a nice, chill vibe to it, and we could see ourselves being regulars too if we lived in the area. If you want to drink where the locals drink, come here for a no-frills neighborhood bar with a little extra fun on the way.

I believe there were one or two specials that day as well, one being Steak Frites. But the food reviews were good and the drink reviews were great so I decided to go. Even if I had second thoughts the welcome from Bob the bartender when I entered (first customer when I arrived at 5:00 opening time) seemed so sincere that not staying was out of the question. I took my seat at the bar (supposedly rebuilt with materials from a bar in Ireland that closed). Bob was great, with an enthusiasm for great whiskey that he couldn't hide if he tried, and didn't seem to mind that I'm not enough of a connoisseur to have many opinions of my own. Between other customers that soon filled the place he kept me talking and I'm not much of a talker. About whiskey, where I'm from, Burlington in general, and he gave me some tips on some lesser-known Vermont attractions I didn't know about. Their whiskey collection was large and from many lands. Having just returned from Ireland I was pleased to see several I remember from my visit - not just the usual Jamesons here! I prefer a cocktail to straight whiskey though, so it was Sazeracs tonight. Two specialties. First the Rosemary's Sazerac: Bulleit Rye, rosemary syrup, Peychauds bitters, rinse of Laphroaig, torched rosemary sprig. My second was also a Sazerac: their Irish Sazerac, made with an Irish whiskey and other ingredients which I've forgotten. Both drinks were fantastic, generous with the alcohol, and made with attention to details like properly-sized ice cubes (large) and pre-chilled glasses. For food I got the "Charred Oak Burger." I don't know where the "oak" comes in. The only burger on the menu, it was made with two thin patties, a great quantity of whiskey & honey-glazed pork belly in large pieces, kimchi mayo, and a brioche bun. One of the most interesting burgers I've had in a long time. Even though it was a bit overstuffed more due to the pork belly than the patties I managed to eat it without it falling apart, a common problem with burgers. Instead of the fries it came with I elected to get the roasted Brussels sprouts instead, a special shareable of the day. I don't think I was charged extra even though it was a rather large portion. These were excellent too, sweet and bacony with no bitterness. As it got busier the noise level increased but only moderately. I liked the music playing, a mix of blues and energetic classic rock. Overhearing other conversations I could tell that these were discerning customers who took their whiskey seriously and asked detailed questions before settling on their choice of libation. Just two things on the dessert menu: Chocolate Overload and Caramel Sea Salt Cheesecake. I got the Overload: chocolate cake with Bailey's Irish Cream sauce. Nothing special but I enjoyed it; a nice way to finish the meal. It was big enough that I took about half home, along with half the Brussels sprouts. This is definitely a place I want to come back to. I wish the food menu was more extensive but that burger and sprouts were so good I could see repeating the same menu again, trying new specialty cocktails next time.

On my visit, I ordered their spin on a Cuban and...daaang! The sandwich weighed AT LEAST 2 lbs!!! What's more, it was mostly meat! This is the first sandwich that I have enjoyed an appropriate bread to meat ratio. I mean this thing was severely pregnant with meat! Whew! Honestly, I probably could have saved half of it for lunch but it was so good that I ate all of it. In a separate visit, the cocktail lounge was very posh in an old school speakeasy jazz club type of way. All of the menus are glued to actual books (is that legal??) and they have a great cocktail list. Their chocolate cake is excellent as well! The room is divided into a music room and the bar area. You can still see the music but it was nice to be divided if you wanted to talk vs listen to music. Expect to find cool cocktails and a moderate beer selection. 3. The vibes are cool! It's very speakeasy-underground-cool vibes. It's dark inside with old fashioned lamps and various types of seating, both at the bar and at tables. Some tables have old fashioned bar games at them like ring and hook. They have a stage for live music and a small space for dancing. I will say the one downside of Orlando's is that when they're doing music, either live or over speakers, it's so loud that it's hard to be social there.

We recently stayed at the Stagecoach Inn, and what we loved most was how it perfectly blended old-world charm with all the luxurious comforts you could want. We stayed in the Devlin Suite, and I absolutely loved the layout. After spending our days exploring Lake Placid and hiking in the Adirondacks, it was so nice to come back, enjoy a great meal, and just chill. The suite gave us plenty of room to spread out and unwind with a separate bedroom, bathroom, game area, and living room. Everything was beautifully decorated, and the velvet couch, cozy throws, and plush pillows made it feel so inviting. There's something really special about the way the inn combines the history of the building with modern comfort. It made for such a memorable stay, and we'll definitely be back. read more

I was excited to dine there after seeing so many good reviews on yelp but I was very disappointed by the quality of the food. The restaurant promises a fine dining experience but it falls short on that regard. Most of the dishes were average, with some of them being pretty bad (lamb rack). It was a let down, especially considering the steep prices; higher than what you find in Manhattan! This would have been fine if the food was great, but that was not the case. We've never had a hotel text us before so it was very nice knowing how helpful they are with their customers. They truly care about their business. The room was exceptionally clean and the beds were cozy. Though the inn itself is small (with about 10 rooms total), it felt safe and secure. Our room (7) had a fridge and microwave in it, two extra blankets, a fan, space heater, AC, shampoo, conditioner, and there was a little goody bag for us. I love that they have breakfast in bags set out in the fridge for everyone. Our bags had an apple, hard boiled egg, yogurt, granola bar, and apple juice. There is a ton of grass area for dogs IF you get a pets-allowed room. If you come in and don't tell them you have a pet, they will charge you $50 so it's best to be honest. I put four stars instead of 5 because there are some strict rules here. Let's aren't allowed on the beds and they will charge you for dog hair on the sheets. You also have to crate your dog if you leave them in the room (because if your dog is crying and they can't get a hold of you, they will go into your room). Pet owners clearly have made the rules like this for a reason. There are also major quiet rules and they ask that you don't shut your car doors and hotel doors loudly. They also have a wash cloth set out for makeup use only and will charge you $40 if you ruin the other towels. So it felt like walking on eggshells sometimes with all of these rules. However, it is owned by a husband and wife and they want to make sure everything stays nice. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and there's a nice river running through behind the inn. There's also a garden and a large fire pit with plenty of seating. On top of that, there's a game room with a pool table, fooseball table, board games, and more (outside of rooms 7 and 8). This is a very cute inn and as long as you follow the rules, you're all set for a nice vacation in the mountains!

I live in Connecticut and never seen these prices. I'll never go back, what a joke. Not the mention those shitty rooms at $350 a night and we all leave sick. Fix it. Direct vent air-conditioning and heating is something you should move on from. Make all that fucking money you should change to heat pump so people don't get sick when they leave your location. Also, your parking is terrible. Your staff is completely awful and doesn't even say hello to people coming in and out of your hotel I think you should be shut down will never come back to that region just because the fact we had such a bad time.
