For anyone planning to go: be aware that even if you have a reserved private room and your friends are already inside, you may still be forced to wait through the entire line of people joining the main stage or checking into their private rooms. If you question it, you risk being labeled "intoxicated" and denied entry altogether.
Our experience was honestly shocking and deserves to be shared.
We planned a birthday celebration for our best friend and reserved a private room for a group of 12. Most of our friends arrived earlier and were already checked in and inside the room. The rest of us (3 people) arrived about 15 minutes later, expecting to simply join our friends and continue the celebration.
Instead, upon arrival the bouncer told us to go to the very end of a long line. We calmly explained multiple times that our group was already inside in a room, fully checked in, and we were just joining them. *This is a completely standard situation at most venues*. However, the bouncer refused, saying "because I told you so" and accused us of "cutting the line," which made no logical sense given the situation.
Things escalated quickly and unnecessarily. The bouncer became rude and dismissive, then suddenly claimed that we appeared "too intoxicated" and he might deny entry if we don't follow his orders--despite the fact that we had just come from work and had not consumed any alcohol (I even explained that I'm pregnant and do not drink at all). This accusation felt completely baseless and seemed like a way to assert dominance rather than address the situation fairly.
When we asked for a manager, the situation was not handled properly. No one came out to speak with us or hear our side, and we were left waiting in line for over 20 minutes just to join our friends. When we finally reached the front, the bouncer allowed us entry, unnecessarily screaming "Have a good day!" into my face 3 times in a row after I told him he could be nicer. The next second, as we were stepping in he suddenly turned back and "changed his mind" denying us entry for no clear reason. (clown emoji)
Meanwhile, the birthday host--who had paid a significant amount for that night--had to spend over 45 additional minutes inside speaking with management just to get us in. Eventually, the manager came out allowing us entry, saying we "don't seem intoxicated" to him now. (clown emoji)
Why wait for an hour instead of leaving, you ask me? Because I see my friends at most 6 times a year, and we simply wanted to spend time and share joy together for as much as possible. Obviously, the mood was ruined, but at least we stuck together.
After this experience, I looked through recent reviews and noticed multiple other complaints--just within the past 2 months--about similar rude and aggressive behavior from bouncers. That suggests this is not an isolated incident, but an ongoing issue that management is choosing not to address! I can only imagine how many more people had the same experience, but stayed silent...
I would strongly caution others before booking here--especially for important events. read more
