While my parents introduced me to a family friend who was a real estate agent, I had no idea how to go about finding a loan officer! After digging through Yelp/Google, I stumbled upon Meridox Mortgage that had stellar reviews and took a chance. I called Meridox and was put in touch with Trung Tran. I let him know that I didn't have any knowledge of how the house-buying process works, but he was incredibly supportive and assured me he would walk me through every step. Shortly after we finished talking on the phone, he sent me a list of items to provide for the pre-approval letter. Trung's turnaround was quick. I sent him my information in the evening and got the letter the next morning. My real estate agent used this letter to draft the offer...it was accepted! After my offer was accepted, the rest of the process was somewhat nebulous, but my real estate agent worked closely with Trung to help me through. Trung was with me every step of the way. He patiently explained how my monthly mortgage payment and closing costs were calculated and even helped me negotiate a home insurance offer. He even kept a close eye on the market and advised me when I should lock in the rate. I thought home buying would be more stressful, but it wasn't as bad as I thought because Trung made every step clear and was very on top of deadlines. From pre-approval to loan closing, it took just one month! Thank you Trung for being so diligent and patient in helping me secure my dream home! Trung was also very proactive in reaching out to me a few months later when interest rates dropped by about 1%. I had the honor of working with Trung again for my refinance, and it was also efficient and painless! I recommended Trung to my coworker recently when she was looking to buy a condo. Highly recommended to anyone who is in a market for a house to look into Meridox!! Thanks again for your hard work, Trung!!!

A little background: I did 2 house purchases, and 1 house sale by myself without a realtor before engaging Meridox. I didn't need handholding, because I was not a first-time buyer. I wanted an advisor who can give me an honest opinion as to pricing, knows the neighborhoods, and can negotiate with the seller's agent. Linh was so on top of things. She understood that I was busy and scheduled multiple showings for me on weekends. She mapped out our route, so we can be efficient with time. She never asked me to consider any property that was outside my price range or not what I was looking for. I was able to knock out many home viewings with her, and we put in a couple of offers. I saw a house that fell out of escrow. I messaged her, and she was immediately on it. She showed me the house, called the seller's agent, and basically convinced the seller to take my offer that was a tad below listing that either that same day or the next. (OC is a hot market, so this was an incredible deal! My other offers all sold above listing.) She was incredibly responsive, super sharp, and very easy to work with. I used Meridox as my mortgage broker as well and used them again to refinance a year later. Very seamless and easy transaction. Forget all the agents who claim to "treat you like family." Choose Meridox: the true professionals.

Luis, spoke with us as we were looking for a new condo for our family of 4. The process started well, professional. We submitted our application. Luis then informed me that my fiancé had filed for Bankruptcy. This was the reason we were denied the condo he was representing. This is completely false and that I, probably "doesn't really know me" which is an attack on my fiancé's character. As if my fiancé is hiding things from me finically. We have been together for 5 years. She has NEVER filed for bankruptcy! EVER. She had only been a victim of identify fraud as discussed, but that is it. We have called him so many times, to get an explanation. He has dogged all calls, never retuned a voice message. This is over 2 months. Very unprofessional. We will be filing a formal complaint against Luis for deformation of character with Keller Williams and other avenues of information that pertains to realtors, this industry. I will not stop until he is formally, publicly reprimanded!! Regards, Tommy

These are the times that you need strong representation, which I did not receive. My property was rented below market value. When I increased the rent in Oct 2025, the renters refused to pay it through the end of his stay in February 2026. Jason and Progressive did nothing to resolve this issue and I never received the additional rent. The tenant short paid his last month by $4000 and stated that his security deposit would be used for the balance. Clearly, this is not what the security deposit is for. Again, Jason did nothing to address this issue, which was in violation of the contract. The tenant told Jason that the house was clean and undamaged. He requested that Jason meet him to walk the property but Jason did not show up. Jason said that he visited the house later and that it was clean and in great condition, other than some worn carpet areas. Nothing could be further from the truth. I had damaged wood floors, a large hole in one room's wall that had been poorly patched, the stove was dirty, the microwave controls were broken, and most of the carpet was permanently stained. All this damage costs me several thousand dollars to repair. Again, Jason did nothing to address this issue. I received clear evidence that the tenant was subletting rooms in my house. To this day, I still receive their mail. I showed Jason proof of this contract violation and he did nothing other than asking the tenant, who of course denied it. Jason never investigated it further. When I did have issues, Jason did not respond to my texts and calls for weeks. He only responded after repeated attempts. Given all this, I would never recommend Jason or Progressive to anyone.
