Okay it's been two weeks since I purchased a limited 4runner and I'm stuck with a base ford fusion till they "finish upgrades" (at least I negotiated a loaner car). I've been to the dealership time and agin with promises of gas and all kinds of reasons to make it worth my while. They went up on finance rate after a week of having the truck. I've been passed from person to person. Each promise to do what they promised in writing but so far I'm still without my ride. They say it will be done Tuesday. We will see. read more

We set up a deal to purchase a 2015 mustang GT for 33,000 including TTL if I financed through their lender. 33,500 if I used my own lender. We arrived at this price as I already had this same deal worked out with AC Collins ford in Houston but being that was a six hour drive we decided we'd drive the three hours to stadium auto since they were making us the same deal. Needless to say we got there drove the car had a very friendly sales associate but when it got down to the numbers the manager told me 34,500 + TTL is best they could do. They wanted me to pay 3k down and finance almost almost 35,000. Seriously!!!!! 38,000 for a car I was told I was getting for 33,000 before I drove the 3+ hour drive! Not to mention they ran my credit probably dropping it a few points. My credit was just where it needed to be to get a 2.49% interest rate with my bank. Now depending on how this credit inquiry affects my score possibly bumping me down to the next tier my interest rate will now jump from the 2.49% to 5.49% as I'm headed to Houston now to buy the car I should have in the first place. So not only is this place shady they have affected my credit score my interest rate and wasted a day of my family's life!!!!! Very upset and dissatisfied!!!!! read more

I bought a Corvette from Stadium Auto just before Christmas. I found the overall quality of their service excellent. They allowed me to take the car on an extended test drive, gave me a great deal on my trade in and done all the paperwork in a very timely, professional manner. I did have an issue with the battery on the new car after a few days and one phone call was all it took for them to provide me with a new battery free of charge. I can't ask for more from them and will definitely use them again in the future. read more

Bad experience. Stay away. I couldnt get anyone to take care of me. I wanted to drive 2 cars. I finally went in and said first one to help might get a sale. I test drove the cars and decided I liked one. It was listed on the internet for 10950. They came to me with the ol numbers in the 4 boxes with a price of 12950 and a monthly payment of $429. I immediately balked at this and asked to see the terms on the financing and why I wasnt getting the 10950 price. He of course left and came back with the terms. Ridiculous . I was already pre approved for a decent loan. They said the wouldnt take it and I had to use their financing. SO I said Im not doing business with you. Get my keys Im leaving. He went to get my keys and sent out the finance manager to talk to me. He tried to tell me that they had to charge me 2000 over the internet price for bank fees they were charging them and that they were trying to get the same terms to match the loan I was approved for. The finance director this time came back matching the terms I had but was still charging me 11950 for the car and would not give me the sticker price because this bank was charging them a 750 fee. I showed him that there were several other cars on auto trader with a better price and said I wanted the 10950 price. And he got really crappy and flared up and said then what are you doing here. I said I was trying to buy a car at the listed price. By this time I had already had my keys so I got to leave and the director said I am completely unreasonable. He was yelling at me and making a scene on the sales floor. I was ignoring him and walking out so I did not hear what else he was saying. Completely unprofessional. Had they given me the sticker price and not tried to make me pay $429 monthly payment for a $10950 car that I only would have had a $227 monthly payment with the financing I secured first, they would have sold a car. I give this two stars only because Pablo and JJ were very helpful and not pushy while I was deciding whether to purchase or not. (this is the smaller stadium auto down the street from the main one) James on the other hand was VERY pushy! He tried pushing me on financing even after I said I was going to check with my bank first and tried to push me on trading in my car when I assertively told him I could get more for it on my own. He also kept trying to tell me he was giving me a deal when I purchased the car for what it was advertised for, albeit, reasonably priced. After I purchased the car I discovered it functions on a MyKey system and the key I have isn't the administrative key which essentially means I can't change important settings with it one of those settings being traction control when I specifically bought this car for winter driving in MN (I'm moving back in December). They would not call me back on the issue so I went back to the store and they were extremely admit about not taking care of this or meeting me half way about the admin key. I am making a claim with the better business burreau as they did not disclose information about the key....AND THEN they tried to say the reason the car was "discounted" is because of the key...but never disclosed that to me...BOGUS. read more

I am in the middle of dealing with them on a 2013 corvette z06 I bought from them. From the 1st minute I stepped on there lot it was a disaster. I set out driving over 2 Hours to buy a specific car and I get there end they had "lost the keys" they tore the b pillar fiberglass trying to break into the car just to be able to show me the interior. At that monet I should of walked away. But I was here to buy this specific car, this car was my dream car basically and I was able to afford it , so I waited 9 hours for them to have a key made. Drove it found some problems that I wanted taken care of. They said they would get them fixed. They didnt. The touch up actually came back worse than before , the tires were balanced improperly, and the lug nuts were most likely put back on with a impact with no torque stick. I bought the car, after them trying to up the price 2000$. Traded my car into them. Nothing had been fixed as of yet. I have not recieved the title and the paper tag is out of date in 2 days. They lied multiple times on little stuff and they didn't accept the draft for the payment which delayed everything. After they told me they would take it. This so far has been a complete mess. I have worked along time and went through alot of crap to be able to get this car and they turned it into the worst car buying experience I've ever been through. I'm a veteran , I've been on deployment and saved my money during that yo be able to get a car like this and completely got screwed over. Purchased a 2013 BMW X5 with the stipulation the dealership fix the coolant leak and rear tire air leak and a 2nd key fob which was in writing in the purchase contract. They kept the vehicle for 3 days and stated it had been repaired, 2 days later it was found to still be leaking air and leaking coolant. Dealership will not return phone calls will not repair car. Tire taken to discount tire and found to have had multiple plugs placed in the sidewall (extremely dangerous) whole tire had to be replaced. Car taken to mechanic and found to have a hole in the coolant expansion tank and require a new water pump. Out over 2k in repairs so far and still no 2nd key. Dealership still will not return phone calls or make this right. Complaint filed with BBB and Texas Attorney generals office. Salesman's name was Manuel. read more

One thing I strongly disagree on is their pricing! These vehicles are USED and WE all know are depreciated after driven off the lot new. Do not waste your time. They're complete liars and will say ANYTHING to get you in the door. This dealership does not operate under normal ethics and certainly isn't respectable. I made an offer and was assured on three separate occasions, before I drove all the way to Arlington, that they would work with my offer. I had been in the market for this particular vehicle for quite sometime and was already pre-approved with my bank. While under the impression they were going to work with my offer I decided to leave work early, test drive the car and complete the final paperwork. Upon arrival I was immediately hounded in the parking lot. Four men rushed out to greet me and badger me about cars. I told them I was looking for Johnny and that I already knew which car I wanted - before I knew it I was chopped liver to the rest of the staff as they weren't getting my sale. Once I walked into the dealership, it seriously seemed like a social house. Everyone was standing around, chatting with each other, eating lunch at their desk, and updating their match.com profiles! There wasn't one woman in sight! I assume because she'd probably feel EXTREMELY uncomfortable working with all these "hungry" men. After driving the car I told Johnny I wanted to purchase the vehicle and that we could go inside to finalize numbers and complete paperwork. This is when he started giving me the runaround. He said he needed to talk with his manager about the final price. Johnny came back with a counter offer of a few hundred dollars less than the original asking price PLUS tax, title, and license!! This is the point when my blood began to boil - not only had I taken off work, but I drove 40 minutes to look at this vehicle under the notion that they had accepted my offer!! I asked Johnny if the number he presented looked anything like my offer! Um, no. Johnny and I went back and forth a bit, then his manager Freddie came into the picture and tried to tell me he wasn't going to make any money with my offer and that the lowest he could go was $500 off the original asking price. I was furious!! Um, hello Freddie! Johnny asked you jerks three separate times if my offer was acceptable and you wankers said yes!! LIE. LIE. LIE. Ultimately, it wasn't Johnny's fault. Johnny was so nice and respectful - it was the dealerships poor management and horrible sales techniques. I heard several salesmen sitting near Johnny's office using very pushy sales techniques, which I'm sure management encourages. I would have much preferred someone tell me on the phone that they could not work with my offer beforehand. Bottom line is, HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY! I only give 1 star because you have to select something. This establishment does not even deserve one star. They do bait/switching and yo yo financing. The cars are priced well above market and they do not come down. The staff is unprofessional and lie repeatedly. They will tell you what you want to hear then change terms on paper. Once you get that fixed and sign, be prepared to be called and asked to come back for some reason. They do dirty business. Walk away. There are plenty of cars in the metroplex for sale. Do not give your business to this establishment. In my situation, I had to consult an attorney after having dealings with this dealer. In the end after all the games they attempted to play and threats they made, my trade in was returned and their car was given back. These guys are unfit to have this dealership business. the behave differently before and after buying the car..they called me so many times before buying the car, afterwards they dint even call me even once. They sold me a bmw 328i and it was fine for 2 months and after that all problems started and everybody started asking me "where did u buy the car?" and it gave me a straight message that the car isnt good..when i call the dealership they dint respond for a couple of weeks..i had to spend my money for the registration as well...and they won give u discounts..sell u car for a high rate of interest and also these guys have all wrong information on papers and they hide as much as possible to sell you a car. for instance they dint tell me my warranty was about to expire...they said the car was under warranty and when i bought it, it expired....they re so smart that they dint mention the number of months remaining in the warranty .....they say they gave the car in good condition, but the bmw service folks are smart enough to identify that these guys havent maintained it properly...Never buy a car from this dealership, if you buy you will suffer later...Its a useless dealership...they apologize in terms of words and that doesnt solve my monetary loss.. read more

Had multiple bad experiences very quickly with 2 salesman. First one gave me the run around for a week so I finally called the dealership to speak with a manager who assured me that when I come in I'll be taken care of. That was a huge understatement. The 2nd salesman I realty with was the most unprofessional, rude, and condescending person I've ever dealt with at a dealership. I came ready to buy a vehicle and about walked out until the manager stopped me and offered to work the deal himself. He was very professional and worked the deal the way it's supposed to happen and I ended up purchasing the vehicle. Dylan, the 3rd salesman I dealt with, finished the deal and he was great. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not go here unless you have six figure income. Even those who are wealthy know better. They will accept anything to put someone in a car they cannot afford. Technically I was not the buyer, but my wife was. I don't even want to put her name on here because I know how litigation works and I wouldn't put it passed these shady guys to throw monkey wrenches wherever they can legally. We tried to get a sporty type of car when we knew we should have went with an economy car. I accept the fault in that. Though, we were completely blindsided by these individuals. We told them upfront what our dire situation was and they did not hesitate to take full advantage of us. We needed a car the next day from when we went in. They kept us for four hours the first day and from open to close the day of that we needed to complete the sale. While I believe this to be true I will leave it up to the reader to decide the truth, but I believe this dealer violated several business practices to put a shadow over the truth of the reality of the vehicle we were trying to purchase. It was the only one of the kind on the lot and there was no other dealers in the area with that specific car. I had my mind set on it since I had never had a new car or even close to it in my life and my credit was deplorable. My wife's was too. They were t least honest about the fact that only using my wife's credit was the better idea, but they did wait until I left her alone there (I regret that to this day) to reveal the true nature of what they were trying to accomplish. They knew if she left there without a car that she was losing her job the very next day and said they would work with her. The padded the down payment by 500 and then forced gap payments separately from the bi-weekly payments (which were twice what the original agreement indicated). We foolishly told them that we had one other possible cash car to go for that day so they kept us waiting on simple processes to ensure that this was no longer an option. They refused to return our down payment by the time we knew about the MANDATORY gap insurance from their IN HOUSE FINANCING. They assured us we would likely get no better deals than this and that they were bending every rule they could. I wish I had a recording of what happened this day because otherwise no one would believe it in an open court. If I knew now what I didn't know then I would be so much better off. Easy to say of course, but these people will take advantage of you anyway they can. It's been over a year since then. I have been wracking my memory to remember the salesman that we dealt with. He was a fresh faced young Hispanic man that was even taking breaks to deal with his new apartment that day. He made the whole scene seem so personable but between him and his manager I know there was more than what we were told. If it had not been for the way they had dealt with us we would likely still be making payments now. They told us if we refinanced that we could secure a much better payment. That was our only hope of keeping the car even. Now I deal with 360 Smart Car and they are amazing. This place is going out of business and they deserve it. They are even taking over Stadium Auto.. and thank God. If anything wait on the transition and do not sign a damn thing until these rat finks are gone. The community will be better off. I wish we had waited... you live and you learn I guess. Never let desperation fool you into telling a dealer like these what your true situation is. Do not put a deposit on a car with this dealership unless you are positive you are approved. If you change your mind are something goes wrong with your loan. They will not give your money back. Worst Experience EVER trying to buy a car!!!!! Lies, Lies and nothing BUT lies. I was told one thing, by one sales guy then they took me to another sales lady and she tore the previous sales guy's business card in front of me, and threw it away, and said you will no longer deal with him, do not speak to him and do not take any of his calls/emails. They did an appraisal on my trade in, but would not provide it in writing. Then they tried to sell me another vehicle-which was the SAME as MINE, BUT with an accident on the CARFAX report. Then they got upset when I laughed and said, why in the hell would I trade in my SUV for the same body style SUV with less options, has an accident on the CARFAX, and with only 5K less miles than mine?? They gave me the runaround on the vehicle I wanted so I left. I have gotten nothing but harassing texts and emails since then, about come back we have a DEAL worked out for you.... I asked them why they would not or could not help me when I was there, and they said they would have a manager call me back. Well that NEVER happened, and they have ran my credit 4-5 times on different days since then. I never filled out a credit application, but they had pulled an old one from 2 years ago, which I didn't purchase from them back then, and thankfully I didn't this time around either. I went in to buy a 2011 370z, the listed price as mileage were as follows. $23,949 with 29,xxx miles. I show up and the car has 33,8xx miles on it and they told me an employee drove it for 4 months! And that his financing didn't go through...what a load of crap! I asked for the price to be dropped 400 dollars bc he wasn't on the carfax...they refused. They offered me 4,000 + what I owed on it for my trade-in.(About 900 dollars) they told me in the preliminary agreement my payments would be 400/month for 60 months. After I signed that agreement saying that I wouldn't counteroffer if they honored my stipulations, we went into sign the paperwork and the agreement was for 400/month for 75 months! They weren't even going to tell me that our original agreement had changed! I have a college degree in business, so I whipped out the calculator to prove they were sweeping $5,000 under the rug, and putting it in their pocket. They yelled at me and told me I was wrong and that I don't know how to do math. I asked for my keys back for he car I came in with. They refused until I started raising my voice demanding to leave. I hadn't signed the loan agreement or anything...just a piece of paper written on it with highlighter, disclosing the details to the original agreement. On top of that when the paperwork came back they offered me 2,900 dollars for my trade in...not the 4,000 + what I owed. For it to make sense the paperwork would have said 4,000 - money owed. Instead they tell me I'm wrong. They yelled at me across the showroom floor in front of 15 customers and in front of a million dollars worth of vehicles. Yelling, "you're passing up a great deal, to get a good deal". Ya, , maybe a great deal for stadium autos scamming auto salesman who are clearly taking money from innocent people who don't know any better. The only reason I was able to get out of there was because I had to announce to the dealership that stadium auto was holding my car hostage, without anything of mine to prove it was theirs. They reluctantly handed back my keys and continued to holler rude remarks as I walked out the door. I got twenty to thirty phone calls from them over the following month begging for my business....they offered me the car at the original agreement somehow. 60 months at 382/month. Which was written out in the loan agreement for 397/month at 75 months! 15x390=5,850 that they wanted to sweep under the rug...not including the misleading offer for my trade in which was different by 2,140. So $7,990 was what they were going to pocket by making someone sign their misleading agreements. They have a 1.5 star rating because of businesses that work with them to install their alarms and tint their windows, who offered them 5 stars twice. Please take this warning to heart, and do not go through the same thing I went through about a month ago. It was the worst car buying experience of my life, and it kept me up at night knowing that people like that tried to back me into a corner and squeeze 7,000 dollars of my money out of my pocket and into theirs. read more

I purchased a vehicle from stadium auto in Arlington on 08/2011. Since it was a used vehicle I purchased their extended warranty through preferred warranties to be safe. On 12/27/11 on my way to work my vehicle broke down at 7:30am. I retrieved my warranty information from the glove box and proceeded to call preferred warranty for tow service to a repair shop to get my vehicle repaired. The representative at preferred warranty took my information and put me on hold for about 5 minutes before returning and telling me I want covered because they never received payment from stadium auto and there was nothing they could do for me and that I needed to call the dealership. The dealership opens at 9am. So I had to sit on the side of the road and wait until 9am before I could talk to someone at the dealership. They apologized and called the prefered warranty rep and assured me a tow truck was on the way. I sat there another hour and still no tow truck. I called stadium auro and prefered watamty numerous times before a tow truck arrived at 1pm. I missed 5 hours of work and not to mention the part and repair cost were not covered under the warranty so I was out an additional 275.00 not to mention the 5 hours of pay lost from missed work.they never offered to help make it right for the mix up and the inconveience it caused. read more

Bought a 68 Camaro here less than 2 years ago. I have been able to put less than 100 miles on the car in that time and now the engine just grenaded. Metal shavings through the entire engine. Just like I said 6 months ago, this Ram 1500 is a POS! Took it to Mopar service center in Frisco: 7 months and my V8 5.7 Liter is misfiring on the 7th cylinder! Less than 80,000 miles and 3 years old, already have to crack open the engine, this is absolutely rediculous! Never buy from here unless you like being screwed. I have had the worst experience trying to buy a car from stadium auto. after dealing with over 8 different sales people including one of the owners ken Strickland which he is a joke acts like he's going to help and promises you things then will not even take your call or speak to you in person, your just a crook ken. I bought a hummer and after taking it to the Sewell hummer dealership was told the transmission was having issues and could go out at the cost of 5000 to 8000 dollars. And these guys taking over a month to try and get the issues handled by there incompetent mechanic finally agreed to take to another GM dealership to get the issue fixed. Issue was fixed but from the hummer dealership mechanic own mouth and in writing to stadium auto. with all things that have happened could cause transmission to fail at a later time. We had already had a signed deal tried to get a warranty just in case big battle no go tried to get my hummer back but they had already taken parts off of the hummer that I brought in As a trade. When i came in to finalize the deal and we did paperwork, paid a nice deposit... and got to be greeted by "THE OWNER" whom outright said "I do not stand by my employees side" and demanded i pay $2,000 more. I purchased a used 2013 Denali HD. I was first told a price that I agreed on. Then the sales manager came to me and said that the price that was quoted to me was wrong, and I needed to pay a little more for the truck. I agreed to pay if running boards were installed. Although the price increase was way more then the cost of the running boards. I also asked my salesman to see the car fax and for some reason he just showed me the auto check not the car fax. I knew I should have walked away but I really liked the truck. I went to get a trade in value of my truck today and come to find out my truck has been in a accident in 2013, I bought the truck in 2015. So the Salesman knew about the accident and never disclosed this to me. He told me the truck had a perfect car fax. I'm very disappointed and now I have a truck worth alot less due to the fact it was in an accident . Very disappointed. read more

After reading some of the other reviews, I don't feel so bad for feeling the way I did! I live in Oklahoma (2 hour drive to the dealership) and had called 4 days prior and told them exactly what I wanted, needed, and how much I was willing to spend. Barry told me he would make that happen. They had every detail of my information and were supposed to have everything together when I got there. Nope! We arrive and they have lost the key to the Challenger I wanted. Finally after getting to test drive it, we start on the business part. Apparently everything I had said went in one ear and out the other. He just wanted me to get down there in hopes I would cave in and buy the car regardless. I walked away. Then when I did get a Salesman it took him 30 minutes to get the key for the car that I was interested in. Absolutely will NOT return to Stadium Auto! My first red flag was when they tried to negotiate and give me a lower price without changing the interest rate or the sales price. I called them out on it and they acted like it was no big deal. After dealing with the shadiest sales guy there(silver teeth), I finally got the vehicle at a good price. The truck only had one key and I was promised they would make another or cover the cost if I had another dealership make it. Well, that is the route I went and guess what....They play the run around game. And I am talking at least 20 calls from myself and the dealer that made the $300 key for me. I can't stand a LIAR! Horrible service. Had an appt and not one sales was there to help me. Was told the sales associate that was scheduled to help me was trying to close a sale with Spanish speaking customers. That's fine, but they didn't provide me another associate. I ended up buying a new Range Rover. It was supposed to have 3900 miles. But the tire pressure was low and the warning light didn't let me see the mileage. I asked Stadium Auto to put some air in the tire and the assured me they would. After signing the papers I asked for the spare key. They said the spare key was in the service dept and was closed for the night and they would get it back. They also failed to air up the tire which I had to do at a gas station when I left. When I aired up the tire I realized the car had 5800 miles on it which was almost 2000 more than was promised and on the ad. The next day I called for the spare key and they said that they were going to find it and we could pick it up or they would mail it to us. 3 days later I called and I was told there was never a spare key. You would think they would keep a note of something like that. I was told that they would pay for a new key and I would receive a call from Brady Bishop the GM. That was 3 months ago. And last week my paper plates expired. I called Stadium Auto and asked where the new ones were that I paid for. They said they never ordered them. They said I had to drive all the way back so they could inspect the vehicle and then order the plates. Brady Bishop, if you read this. You do not know how to conduct business. You employ a bunch of deceitful liars and I will make it a personal goal to make sure nobody I know ever goes there again. I have called Stadium Auto 87 times in the last 3 months. I have been told by 3 different people multiple time that you would call me back and it's 3 months later. Call me back, make this right and maybe I'll delete this post. read more

I worked for Stadium Auto for 13 months. I recently left because I got tired of trying to get paid on the car deals that I had sold. I just filed a complaint with the Texas labor board to try and get my money that I had earned as a salesman. They are a multi-million dollar company and all of this is absolutely rediculous! Ken Strickler is the General Manager and is the biggest liar and unethical person I've ever met. Stadium Auto customer's or potential customer's listen to me very clearly......Stadium Auto does not care about you!! All they care about is seeing how much money they can make on you!! Even the owner say's in our employee meetings that he want's the license plates mailed to the customer because he doesn't want to see the customer come back into the dealership because they will want something fixed on the car that they had bought. I've read alot of these reviews here on Yelp and they are absolutely right! I've never seen a dealership as unethical and corrupt as Stadium Auto. Maybe the banks they use need to pay more attention to all the falsified applications that Stadium Auto is sending them also! read more

Horrible place! Saw a ad for a vehicle online was very interested had cash to pay for the vehicle in full. So when I called the gentlemen told me the vehicle was available and he would have it park upfront for me to see once I came. I rushed out the house pulled up to stadium auto and did not see the vehicle, the gentleman I spoke with over the phone was with a customer so another gentlemen helped me after walking around for 15-20 mins he came back and advised us that someone had already put a deposit on the vehicle yesterday and the check cleared. After getting upset he went and got his sales manager and all the manager tried to do is sell me another vehicle he did not care that his sales rep lied about the vehicle.....so later on that day the sales rep called me and apologized and stated he found a way with his director and I could buy the vehicle and he would call me back in 15mins.....so after a hour and no call back I called him and he stated the vehicle had a deposit on the vehicle and they couldn't sell it lol!!! And even after that they keep posting ads online and on Craigslist for the vehicle everyday.. read more
