March 2024 Update: This was the place my husband always went with his racing buddies every single Sunday morning when he was in the Army stationed at Ft. Riley. This was 25-30 years ago. That tells you how long Stacy's has been around and what a staple it is in this community. It's a small-town, down-home feeling as soon as you walk in. It's not fancy, it's very basic with a focus on good customer service and yummy comfort food. And it delivers! I have a lot of allergies and the waitress took a lot of care to make sure the cooks knew how to prepare my eggs in order to avoid cross-contamination. My husband always gets his biscuits and gravy when he comes here and also corned beef hash. We came with friends (whom we call our family) and it was just another amazing experience at this place! A must visit whenever we are in JC!

This place was packed on a Sunday morning so I was excited to try it. It is seat yourself and we were lucky to get a booth near the front and a window-which was great as we were meeting my son and daughter-in-law. I ordered the quiche (fantastic!). My son got the chicken fried steak and my daughter-in-law got a pancake. The food and coffee were really great. It's nothing fancy but the food is well worth the visit. The service is exceptional as well.

There is much near Junction City, a small town near the geographical center of the Unites States, with a rich military past and right in between the Santa Fe and the Oregon Trail. Living in JC seems ok but without the entertainments of a medium city, there is not a magnificent children's museum or an aquarium, nothing significant to really visit, a downtown with closed shops like many kansas small towns, reminding us of better times. However, no far from JC few miles from Grand View Plaza, this is a place to visit. A truly modern American experience. Stacey's Restaurant offers a simple good breakfast menu, and lunch. You will not be disappointed by ordering the Hungry Man's Breakfast. The service is great and very polite, you will feel welcome among cowboy, trucker hats, old military pictures from Fort Riley, and John Deer paraphernalia. The place is quite big, it may hold about 100 people. It is visited mostly by local and soldier stationed in Fort Riley.

So disgusted with Stacy's. We went to grab a nice home-cooked breakfast and when our food came we were greeted by roaches. Crawling up and down the wall behind me, running across our table and on the floor. I had 2 bites of my breakfast before we realized they were infested. I brought it to the waitress' attention and she squished the one running on the table and asked if we would like a different seat. No, I don't want another table, I want to eat my meal without roaches running all over.

In town for work. Love finding good mom and pops. This is one. Recommended by coworkers. Fast friendly service. Ate there 2 days in a row. Ordered the special. One day it was fried chicken. It was really good. Includes drink, $9.11. Great deal. Next was the Swiss steak. It was good. Still $9.11 with drink. Lots of locals and our finest military soldiers enjoying meals.

All in all it meant my expectations, when we walked in there was the cutest server very short dark hair who smiled a very welcoming smile and unfortunately we ended up with a server ( a lot of piercings in her ears) who was not very friendly and welcoming and never told us her name. My breakfast was wonderful and met expectations and the pancakes are just so very good. Wife said her scrambled eggs were very oily but the rest of the breakfast was very good. The parking lot is in bad shape and needs to be redone if for no other reason it appears a lot of the clientele is older so a huge liability. If yo you want to experience the real America this is the place to do it, American Flag in the dining area, tribute to the troops, farmers and those who love this country. I recommend it this place.

They even let us sample the icing from their homemade cinnamon rolls so we could decide if it was cream cheese or not.

This place is SO good! My father's side immigrated from Italy and this is the absolute best pasta…read morearound. While I know Alfredo is not Italian, it is my fav dish of theirs and the plate sizes are massive. They also have great sized garlic rolls and their stuffed mushrooms are absolutely amazing. The only thing I will warn is while their pizza is handmade and amazing, it only comes in one size an is only enough for one person. Service is top tier as well, very friendly staff and they have plenty of patience for children. The ambiance is calm and relaxed with an open floor plan, the ONLY thing I don't like is when you walk in, it kind of smells like old mop water so don't know what kind of cleaner they use but they need to switch that up lol Otherwise it is extremely clean and well kept with no dust built up and their silverware is always spotless

Pros As soon as I entered the restaurant I was seated…read moreextremely fast, they serve complementary bread rolls which are very fluffy and soft. The staff here is very calming, nice, and easy to talk to while also being extremely attentive. There wasn't a second I had sat in my seat wondering where my waiter was. I ordered their chicken fettuccine alfredo and the sauce was extremely well made. For dessert I ordered tiramisu which was absolutely delicious. It carried a very creamy and rich sweet flavor. Presentation for both my main dish and dessert was amazing Cons Dish wear seems to have wear but they're clean and will get the job done. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to any of my friends and will be visiting here soon to try more food!
