Food was delicious: our steaks were cooked just right and the bourbon chicken was the best made chicken I've ever had. But the star of the meal was the dessert. I tried the butter toffee (or something like that) cake with vanilla bean ice cream. I can hardly wait to go back! The ambiance was nice and the service was wonderful, even on a busy Friday night! The manager personally checked in with us multiple times. read more

Honestly grilled shrimp dinner is tasteless and unflavorful. And comes with popcorn shrimp uncoordinated? Doesn't go together? Cordon blu is horrible barely any cheese. And so small. For the prices you would I expect the cooks to cook with a little pride but what do I know. read more

The atmosphere is very clean, inviting and updated. Wait staff are professional, helpful, kind and attentive. The food was subpar. Took the kitchen 32 minutes to get the freezer ready egg rolls deep fried. So much grease! It dripped out in a stream. The Corn was old, discolored and not sweet in the least, tasted like field corn. The chicken wrap was supposed to have avocado, but none present, though, it had fresh crunchy salad greens. The chicken was tiny frozen tidbits. Don't plan eating there again. read more

Super slow service. Took an hour to get our food so we just cancelled the order. Drinks are all watered down. Staff is nice enough.

The service was great. Sam was great from start to finish. I asked for HOT sauce, and she asked the cooking staff to share their special sauce! It was crazy hot , but tasty! Thank you. I had the Jager-snitzel, which was good. I'm a little spoiled with German food, so I'm picky. The ambiance was nice with wood and brick bar walls. It was a nice place to get full, and enjoy a drink or two. read more

I'm in town for work and needed dinner when I came upon this spot. The location is deceptive cause I didn't see a sign outside. The inside is very spacious and has a chill vibe. The staff is so friendly and quick with everything. I decided to order a few things so I would have food to take to my hotel room. I got the garlic cheese curd to start and they have so much flavor in such a small bite. For my main I got the blu burger and a side of mac and cheese. The burger has onions, mushrooms and blue cheese on it. Very delicious. For desert I tried their Carmel butter toffy cake. Everything was a hit. I totally recommend this place. It's family friendly and has a diverse menu. read more

Pretty brick- walled restaurant with booths, high tops and large low top tables. Very diverse menu - nice appetizer menu, wings, hand helds, and fairly sophisticated entrees and steaks. Tom ordered the pork schnitzel special and I ordered the 8 oz sirloin, medium rare. Delicious! read more

This is the best date-night restaurant in Junction City. There is something on the menu for everyone and nice variety of drink options. Staff was working hard and happy to be there. Even though we had to wait for drinks for some time while seated at the bar, we enjoyed our evening because the ambiance was classy and the staff was working to make sure every patron had what they needed. I don't often find myself in JC, but next time I do, I'll be back to visit Blu! read more

Blu Restaurant & Bar - Taco platter. Salmon, chicken, and baja shrimp! All were excellent!! - Seafood Near Me - Junction City, Kansas

the food was amazing but the wait staff was even better. Will definitely come back! it is worth the drive!

Great space and atmosphere. Very pricey so be prepared to spend a lot for drinks and appetizers especially. Food is very good but portions are small for the amount you're paying. Otherwise we love going here read more

Cute place with inexperienced servers and expensive food. Went here on a recommendation. The menu was ok, had the Prime Rib special the meat was about 1/2 thin and very fatty. The grilled vegetables were red and yellow peppers. Lacking on the presentation. The cocktail menu had no prices, no prices for a beer, wine, bottle of wine so you had to ask the server item by item the cost. This was utterly crazy, read more

Second time in and it did not disappoint. Has great attentive service, drinks spot on and food was delicious. Will definitely return.

left a review on Google because I was picking up DoorDash waited at the restaurant for over 20 minutes the owner jumps on there very professional (not) said we should go to fast food whichever other reviews that's their suggestion is to go to Wendy's if they don't like something about their establishment instead of learning from customer feed backs. this owner got on my review to tell me I was "rude" I never raised my voice or cursed all I said was "I don't get paid for waiting on just a burger and fries" but the owner insisted that I was so mad. I almost broke my phone what?!!!???? Where did that lie even come from? read more

Blu Restaurant & Bar - Instead of fixing why anyone is waiting 20 min for a burger and fries and they ain't even started at the 20 min this is their reaction - Seafood Near Me - Junction City, Kansas

That's the former Kamille Club I worked at in 1982/83 when The Band "Kansas" would play in our bar! It looks nice.

Update: 7/10/24: Each time we go (3rd x) it's a worse experience; we won't be returning after this. I was given chicken fried chicken, but I had ordered chicken fried steak. When I finally got the correct meal; the chicken fried steak tasted old like it had been sitting around for awhile. I barely ate any of it and my husband whom loves chicken fried steak wouldn't even eat it and he's ate it there the 2nd time we went. He had the German Jägerschnitzel ,it was small and lacked flavor and he flat out didn't like it. Yes he's been in Germany and is familiar with it. The dog may be getting what we brought home at this rate. We are tired of spending our $$ there with food prices being what they are; we aren't going to waste $$ at Blu again. Update: 2/5/24: We went again today for an early Valentine meal. I ordered two of the Street Tacos. Both were so spicy that neither I or my husband could eat them and he loves spicy food. It was so spicy that my mouth and lips were burning from the spice. We ended up just leaving the un-ate tacos at the table when we left. I have had pico de gallo before at other places and never had a problem eating it until today. My husband who eats all kinds of spicy food couldn't take a bit without his mouth burning. What a disappointing early Valentine meal. ///// read more

Great atmosphere and delicious food! The restaurant itself has a trendy feel, with hardwood floors and high ceilings. Tables and booths are spaced in a way that doesn't feel crowded. We were greeted, seated, and served in a timely manner for our 1pm lunch on a Saturday. Our party had the BBQ burger, Hawaiian burger and Cajun grilled chicken. There are several side's available...we ended up with fries and grilled vegetables amongst us. The veggies were amazing, although just peppers (we love, but if you don't, you might ask what the grilled veggies are that day). All the food was delicious and we would definitely go back! Price point wise, our bill was around $55 for entrees for 3. read more

Great food and great customer service! My daughter and I enjoy our twice monthly Friday evening girl's nights here! Clean and well decorated interior and lots of excellent choices on the menu! Service was terrible. Ordered with a group. Didn't get my food. Would not recommend this for any group. When I finally got my order it wasn't right. read more

The service was the worst! The waiter didn't know anything. We asked about specials written at the front of the restaurant, and he didn't know and read them off the iPad. It was very noisy, so that didn't help the situation. We ordered one of the specials, and he didn't know the sides that would be served with the main dish. The special was not that good. We both spent in Germany, and the meat was tough. The waiter then preceded to offer us our checks. We weren't done eating, and he hadn't asked about dessert. At the point I told him, "it seems you are rushing us." We finally ordered dessert and asked for separate plates so we could share it. It presented very nicely for one with two utensils. He needs to learn how to be a waiter in order to get the appropriate tips. I will not recommend this place because of the service. Food was alright, but the service is horrible. . read more

I have been to this establishment twice. I do not recommend. The first time we went I ordered an appetizer and it came out frozen. How does that even happen? I figured I would try again months later when they had some more experience under their belt. My most recent experience consisted of my wife and I getting two burgers with fries- very regular order. Here are our insane premium modifications: ONE Gluten free bun, ONE side of coleslaw. The total for this order was $50 -not including tip. Absolutely insane. Borderline scam artists. Especially for the fact that the food was in no way shape or form anything to write home about. Extremely average and lackluster on the toppings. I will not recommend this place to anybody and I will never be returning again. My wife and I often use 'blu' as a joke when referring to something that is expensive for no reason. As in, those are "Blu prices." Or even, we could finance a brand new car, or we could go to Blu's for the night. This place is a joke and not a very funny one at that. read more

Wonderful linner at Blu. I had bourbon salmon and hubby had hawaiian chicken. I also had the unique smoked jack and coke cocktail. The side salads were large and full of veggies. We're definitely fans of this restaurant read more

The service was great and the meal was exactly what I was looking for. The 8oz steak was well cooked and flavorful.

We stopped by after church on Sunday morning. I had the steak and shrimp. They were cooked perfectly and tasted great! My husband had the fish and he said it was really good. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant and relaxing. We plan on making lunch at Blu's part of our Sunday ritual! We are happy to have a nice restaurant in town that we can support! read more

This was the worst restaurant I've ever been to in my whole life. Me and my husband decided to go on a date and someone had recommended this restaurant and we were on the mood for some good steak.we got to the restaurant and the host walked us to a table mumbled something that we couldn't understand and just walked away so from the start the customer service was horrible. Then we sat down and waited for 20 minutes and then another server asked us if we have been helped. We said no he went and got another server not from that area. He took our drink order then another server walked in told us that she was gonna be our server, so not organized at all. We ordered their hot honey cheese bites and they were cold in the middle. we both order the KC strip the only thing that they got right was my husband's mashed potatoes and the fact that both our stakes were medium rare other than that our steaks tasted horrible gnomes flavor no nothing it tasted like the grill we had to add salt and pepper and sauce to make it eatable I ordered their mac & cheese and it's tasted like spoiled cheese. The only good thing that this restaurant served us was the water, the salad and an alcoholic beverage all of them that it's a zero out of five stars. read more
