I'm in town for work and needed dinner when I came upon this spot. The location is deceptive cause I didn't see a sign outside. The inside is very spacious and has a chill vibe. The staff is so friendly and quick with everything. I decided to order a few things so I would have food to take to my hotel room. I got the garlic cheese curd to start and they have so much flavor in such a small bite. For my main I got the blu burger and a side of mac and cheese. The burger has onions, mushrooms and blue cheese on it. Very delicious. For desert I tried their Carmel butter toffy cake. Everything was a hit. I totally recommend this place. This is the best date-night restaurant in Junction City. There is something on the menu for everyone and nice variety of drink options. Staff was working hard and happy to be there. Even though we had to wait for drinks for some time while seated at the bar, we enjoyed our evening because the ambiance was classy and the staff was working to make sure every patron had what they needed. Update: 7/10/24: Each time we go (3rd x) it's a worse experience; we won't be returning after this. I was given chicken fried chicken, but I had ordered chicken fried steak. When I finally got the correct meal; the chicken fried steak tasted old like it had been sitting around for awhile. I barely ate any of it and my husband whom loves chicken fried steak wouldn't even eat it and he's ate it there the 2nd time we went. He had the German Jägerschnitzel ,it was small and lacked flavor and he flat out didn't like it. Yes he's been in Germany and is familiar with it. The dog may be getting what we brought home at this rate. We are tired of spending our $$ there with food prices being what they are; we aren't going to waste $$ at Blu again. We were greeted, seated, and served in a timely manner for our 1pm lunch on a Saturday. Our party had the BBQ burger, Hawaiian burger and Cajun grilled chicken. There are several side's available...we ended up with fries and grilled vegetables amongst us. The veggies were amazing, although just peppers (we love, but if you don't, you might ask what the grilled veggies are that day). All the food was delicious and we would definitely go back! Here are our insane premium modifications: ONE Gluten free bun, ONE side of coleslaw. The total for this order was $50 -not including tip. Absolutely insane. Borderline scam artists. Especially for the fact that the food was in no way shape or form anything to write home about. Extremely average and lackluster on the toppings. I will not recommend this place to anybody and I will never be returning again. My wife and I often use 'blu' as a joke when referring to something that is expensive for no reason. The service was the worst! The waiter didn't know anything. We asked about specials written at the front of the restaurant, and he didn't know and read them off the iPad. It was very noisy, so that didn't help the situation. We ordered one of the specials, and he didn't know the sides that would be served with the main dish. The special was not that good. We both spent in Germany, and the meat was tough. The waiter then preceded to offer us our checks. We weren't done eating, and he hadn't asked about dessert. At the point I told him, "it seems you are rushing us." We finally ordered dessert and asked for separate plates so we could share it. It presented very nicely for one with two utensils. This was the worst restaurant I've ever been to in my whole life. Me and my husband decided to go on a date and someone had recommended this restaurant and we were on the mood for some good steak.we got to the restaurant and the host walked us to a table mumbled something that we couldn't understand and just walked away so from the start the customer service was horrible. Then we sat down and waited for 20 minutes and then another server asked us if we have been helped. We said no he went and got another server not from that area. He took our drink order then another server walked in told us that she was gonna be our server, so not organized at all. We ordered their hot honey cheese bites and they were cold in the middle. we both order the KC strip the only thing that they got right was my husband's mashed potatoes and the fact that both our stakes were medium rare other than that our steaks tasted horrible gnomes flavor no nothing it tasted like the grill we had to add salt and pepper and sauce to make it eatable I ordered their mac & cheese and it's tasted like spoiled cheese.
