I've had this treatment done elsewhere dozens of times in the past and never had this problem. - When I expressed this concern to them, they dismissed it. When I expressed that I felt dismissed, they said "We're sorry you are feeling that your concerns were being dismissed". That is not a proper apology, and there was no compensation offered for the session that had zero effect. - In fact, that session price was DOUBLED because of the reasons I'll describe below. - Their pricing scheme is sketchy & scammy. The 6-session package rate is presented as 50% off, but it's actually the standard rate (in fact I was quoted almost 30% less than that amount at a different vendor), with the single-session price set at twice that amount. As a result, I was charged that inflated rate for a treatment that produced no results. When I signed up, I thought it was a harmless marketing gimmick, but it was used against me in the end. (I think they assume their customers are dumb and will be overjoyed to get 50% off of double the rate) Update: I went to that other vendor and actually got the result I had expected from this one. Save yourself the trouble and money and humiliation, just go somewhere else. --- 8/14 update: After I notified the company that I intended to dispute the charge and file consumer complaints, they responded by calling my communications "threatening, abusive, or aggressive," referred to my consumer complaints as "ongoing threats," and wrote, "If you wish to escalate this harassment further," they would report me to local authorities. I found this response bizarre, deeply unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. Threatening a customer with law enforcement for saying they intend to dispute a charge and file complaints with consumer-protection agencies is an extraordinary way for a medical practice to handle a billing dispute.

This review is long overdue! Liza is amazing! A gifted esthetician who has worked closely with…read morenotable dermatologists and cosmetic surgeons in SF, she has years of experience working with clients helping them improve the health/appearance of their skin. Liza knows the right combination of moisturizer, serum, glycolic acid (and sunscreen, always) that will nourish/protect your skin. Her advice for healthier skin is always straight forward, never complicated and she never tries to force you to purchase unnecessary products/treatments. And speaking of treatments she knows which ones, from chemical peels to LED Therapy to microcurrent facial toning, that will best support the health of your skin. I started seeing Liza at her original location in SF back in 2015 and when she moved to San Anselmo I initially wasn't sure if I would be able to continue to see her because its a bit of a drive from where I live. But now I cannot imagine not seeing her for my regular facials! The 30-40 minute drive is so worth it! The facials are a treat but in reality they have been an investment in the health of my skin. Liza has transformed my skin from dull and hyper-pigmented to smooth and glowing. In addition to her expertise as an esthetician she is also one of the kindest people I know ... she is smart, generous and has a great sense of humor. Her comfortable studio provides the perfect setting for a facial ( or any one of her other treatments), allowing you to decompress/relax while she works her magic on your skin. Do your skin a favor and book an appointment with Liza, you won't regret it!

I went to Stacey for this wedding I attended with my family. Lets just say that I was really impressed with her work seeing how I am really particular with cleanliness and brushes. She really is a professional in her craft and she is really knowledgeable about her makeup! My hair is about medium length and I wanted a low chignon. She told me a few suggestions and whipped up a beautiful updo that held up all night! My makeup was exactly what I asked for and the lashes didn't even come off! I hate when that happens... Ladies! When I say book this chick for your next special event, I mean it! If you are looking for someone who is reasonable and professional, Stacey is your stylist! I will definietly be booking her again. Ooh! I'll add to that she uses Mac makeup and Makeup forever on me. So flawless. I love my pics! Thank you Stacey!!! You're so awesome!!! read more
