This place was clean and very organized. The employees were very helpful. There was a wide choices of clothing, shoes, furniture. The prices weren't to bad and it is going to a good cause. read more

they have a poor selection of clothes, and the boutique is way too overpriced and has items from Ross listed at the same price you could get it from Ross. Most of the clothes are not worth the price listed, and the way they organized most of the clothes is very frustrating, its a whole workout just to look at shirts since they're on racks that should just be for dresses. they have plenty of furniture and the workers are very nice, but if you're looking for clothes you won't find anything good here. read more

I could send a real long time here in this thrift shop. They had so many things I wanted to buy or get! I bought Band of Brothers DVD set for $4, old vintage hard cover books from the 1800s for only $1, a marbleized tee, and a red purse for $4. I was very excited to buy the books. Some of them were poems and stories by Edgar Allen Poe or Robert Browning. They are a treasure to me. My friend bought one of the old books there too. She was fascinated by how people wrote and talked back in the 1800s. $1 for antique books - a major steal! So every thrift store I visit, I like to take pictures of angels or signs in the store. Just a little ritual I follow. In this thrift store, I found a black angel. Thrilling! They are rare finds. read more

Great thrift shop!! We love the people who work here, they are always so welcoming and friendly. The prices are not bad - could come down some in clothes. It feels clean for the most part ... they are getting much better with their organization! Should really consider a free bin for broken or slightly damaged items. I say this only because there are items on the shelves that have been there for nearly one year and they need fixed etc. :) read more

Wow! I was so excited to find time while in St Augustine to stop in at this gigantic thrift store. My excitement soon turned to sadness. I am usually not one to leave negative reviews but.. what a terrible attitude the staff had especially the woman at the front door register. The attitude and way she spoke to patrons was unprofessional and frankly just rude. She needs to remember it may be the 1000th time she had answered a question but it is the 1st time that person has asked it. Easy, customer service. I had found a few treasures while shopping but quickly put them down as I did not want to interact with the staff. I will take myself back to Jax Beach where the staff at my local St Vincent Thrift is fun, welcoming and kind. read more

This is a fun Thrift Store. You can explore for hours here. Different rooms, nooks and crannies. I found a $3.00 saucepan some time ago and I still use it. Good treasure finds here. If you enjoy thrifting, like I do-then I highly recommend this place. Enjoy. read more

A must for thrift store shopping! Not only do we just love it in general but this place uses their profits to help people in the community that struggle with anything from food to bills to furniture. They go above and beyond for their community! You Always find something great, and you never know what it'll be. They get new stuff in all day everyday! The staff is super friendly and helpful. All around it's an AMAZING place!! read more

I've been there a few times they have a big verity of things some things are pricey . Some of these so called thrift stores that are surrpose to be cheap need to cut there prices there getting the stuff do donated I mean the are a non profit and get huge tax breaks so give the community a break bend the community over the hood. And say u are doing them a favor. read more

Dawn M. is right in her review: This place is very organized and that makes for an enjoyable thrifting experience. They have a room full of used furniture and knick knacks to fill your home as well as a separate room for books and clothing. I find more things for my liking up the road at the Alpha-Omega Thrift Store because I'm more into lawn furniture and gardening accessories plus they work better with you on prices. Overall, this is a nice thrift store with ample parking all for a good cause. read more

We were visiting in Saint Augustine and decided to pop in.... What a treat it was.! great thrift store friendly people

Have been a customer at this store many years, off and on depending on prices and management. The current manager is a nice guy, but the powers that be, apparently above him that dictate pricing are out of touch with what other thrift stores are charging. For example, they clearly are overloaded with books that are not selling, so someone there (who clearly knows nothing about the used book market) gets the great idea to jack up the prices. There is no reason behind how they arrive at these prices other than someone is just making them up. No one is going to pay $5 for a 10 yr old used textbook or $4-8 for some random beat up fiction book that sells at Goodwill for $1-$2. I can see going from 50 cents/$1 to $1/$2 to compete with the other thrift stores, so why not just change your sign to reflect flat prices instead of random crazy prices? Not to mention the time being wasted having someone sticker every book. Flat pricing that matches other nearby would fix things for all (give store an increase without alienating long time customers) Customers are not going to pay triple over what other thrifts charge. I already know of one guy who is a volume buying book buyer (and he is not an online seller) who said he will no longer shop here. I will still check periodically but expect to only spend a few dollars occasionally .There was a time (prior two managers) when I spent over $100 a week. Disappointing for now and hope for a better change down the road. read more

Great thrift store! Cheap prices, and a great selection of clothes, furniture, and kitchen things. Would recommend! There is even a section for nicer dresses and clothes that I believe all have tags on, and even wedding dresses. I bought pants for $3 and a sports bra for $3 that are clean and fit well. read more

St Vincent's is a thrift store that accepts, cleans up, and resells charitable donations, one of several ways in the community to find new homes for gently used items. Inside, you can find a little bit of everything. They have furniture, clothing, books, kitchenware, furniture, electronics (some a little dated!), and numerous other items. The patient can certainly find some gems here. Real wood furniture can be difficult to find though, as those items get snapped up pretty quickly. Donations are incredibly easy. If you're by during off hours, they have a drop off area. It's not terribly protected from rain, so pay attention if you choose to do that. (It's also open to anyone walking by, if you're particular about where your donation goes) If you have a large donation, you can request pickup with their truck. They will give you a receipt for the value of your donations. read more

As thrifts go this store was amazing for one simple fact, it is organized. Clothing is by size and they have a small inventory including Talbots. There are lots of finds including glassware, china, art and furniture. read more

A great thrift store located on the north side of town, very easy to find off US1 and tons of parking. The store is clean and fairly well organized, with a nice selection of clothes, books, and housewares. The real star of this place is the furniture selection, it's pretty impressive for a thrift store. They have a huge room in the main building and also a giant warehouse in the back with tons of furniture, shelves, tables, etc. I can usually find something cool here, but man if you are in the need for some furniture this is the place. Friendly staff, good prices, and an easy going experience. I try to stop in every few weeks to check out the new selection. Definitely worth a walk through. read more

This thrift shop is amazing! It is well organized and has lots of good quality items to find. It's wonderful when you come across something that you weren't expecting to find at a great price. It's also a great place to donate your items when you do your Spring Cleaning! read more

AMAZING store! Super well organized, really sweet and helpful staff. Billy at the warehouse helped me load up my car with the coolest furniture. Definitely coming back!! read more

We have found several treasures here. Staff is very helpful, specially Billy who has helped several times in selecting furniture items. Before you buy new, consider St Vincent DePaul, you'll save money, protect the environment and help those in need. read more

This place is Ridiculously overpriced! Clothing is relatively cheap but all furniture is the same price you would pay at a brand new furniture warehouse and it's very used and some of it just junkie. It literally cost $35 for a plastic lawn chair with a broken arm. Really really really disappointed with the store! You would also think that because everything is donated and they have a warehouse in the back filled to the brim with stuff that's been in there for over a year that they would discount but no. DO NOT SHOP HERE FOR FURNITURE read more

Was very disappointed. The prices were crazy high. 700$ for couches that would be 25$ at other thrifts. I want to shop local and help the community but I won't pay for stained and worn things for the same price as a new piece of furniture at regular stores. Disappointed. read more

A diamond in the ruff. Very happy with purchases. Very reasonably priced and the ladies were super kind.

St. Vincent DePaul Society "thrift" store is my families go-to for everything! Books, records, clothes, kitchen item....and don't get me started on the furniture! Every room in our house has something from St. Vincent. The staff and volunteers are some of the finest people you'll ever meet!! The store has gone through a recent renovation and it is just a pleasure to go shop there! Clean, clean, clean!!! April D. read more

Tried for a second time. Still way too high. Now they are putting they're putting their OVERSIZED price stickers on COAs for collectible houses. Who does that! Ruined them. read more

Words cannot adequately describe this store. It is the cleanest most organized, well thought out and arranged store, bar none I've been in. And I thrift a lot. Big cities little towns this one out ranks them all. The items were all in A-1 shape, a huge selection of furniture, the chair I liked had already been sold. The prices were reasonable. I've never been happier, instead of a souvenir T-shirt for $25.00 I got a got a wagon load of treasures that will make me smile for a long time. Even my husband who is not a thrifter was totally impressed with the store. read more

In response to the reviewer who feels that thrift shops sell to "poor people" and therefore the stuff should be cheap. This is a misunderstanding I see over and over. Thrift shops receive donated goods for resale to the communuuty at large TO RAISE MONEY FOR SOCIAL PROGRAMS TO ASSIST THE POOR AND HOMELESS." This does not mean the prices will be set for sale to those who are poor. Additionally, most thrift shops have voucher programs where qualifying applicants can receive, for example, a $100 voucher toward the purchase of items in the store. Hope this helps to clear up the misinformation. read more

I think a thrift store that gets stuff donated should realize that there selling to (POOR) People and poor people cant afford the high prices they use isnt a none profit prices if its a good name brand or designers name they jack the prices up crazy , I dont know who prices there merchandise but they dont know what there doing for a none profit thrift store , Go visit the Hospice thift store by save alots they have fair prices and they dont jack up the prices because its a name brand so that every poor person has a chance to own something nice, you can reallly find nice furniture there affordably for all poor people , i went to st Vincent de paul they have so much stuff that the parking lot on the side has furniture setting out in the weather ruing because they cant sell it they got garage full and they want to much for it crazy. here is a thought if you are that over loaded it' could be because who ever dose the pricing dont know what there doing this is a no profit i thought , there asking 450.00 for a use hutch because its a name brand and 200 for ones that you could buy new for 300 come on really thats why you got so much stuff and cant move it i go to the hospice thift store in save lots parking lot there you can buy a hutch 75.00 whole sets of nice dishes for for 10.00 true poor people thift shop .i looked at some dishes there missing all the bowls and they wanted 40.00 thats right 40.00 for used dishes with missing bowls someone dosnt know there aelling to poor people and that there none profit organizations read more
