I won a free massage in a raffle at St. Somewhere Spa during their Jimmy Buffett birthday celebration, which was such a fun surprise. I added on the therapeutic option, and I'm glad I did. The massage leaned more toward deep pressure, but that was exactly what I needed since it had been a long time since my last one. But I wasn't happy that I was in pain around my shoulders and neck for a couple days afterward. The spa facilities were well appointed and thoughtfully designed, making great use of a smaller space. And you can visit their pools which are gorgeous and made me feel like I was in the Caribbean. I even got a cocktail and laid out on their loungers for a couple of hours. We did the ResortPass Spa pass for my sister's birthday. Facilities were extremely clean and updated. The staff were very friendly and attentive, we arrived a little early and they had a separate room for us to sit in and relax until our appt time. The locker room had everything you would need and the robes were super comfy . Once in the Himalayan salt room we were met with beverages and chairs that had different heating/ cooling setting. We arrived directly at the time of our spa appointment; therefore, we weren't expecting a long massage or the full 1 hr. Arrive at least 20 minutes early to complete the documents and change clothes. The locker room area is very gym like. Lockers, restrooms, sinks. Then, there's a co-Ed area with salt chairs and a dry/ hot sauna. This area is too small to accommodate the number of people they're aiming to host. If three couples are getting a massage, all salt/ relaxation chairs are taken. There's a few small benches on the side, which makes the area very awkward when people are sitting around waiting. We were called in for our massage right away. The weirdest thing is that you have to walk back through the lobby - in your robe - through the nail salon area, to get to the massage rooms. When we entered the room, the masseuse gave us a run-down of the massage and asked us about purchasing add-ons. Again, this was an awkward 5 minutes: standing in your robe, listening to a sales pitch. This should have been asked and taken care of at the front desk. Not while standing in a robe with your partner. The massage was good. Good pressure for a relaxation massage, however, I asked for a focus on my shoulders. I didn't realize that 80% of the massage would be shoulders only. Typically, it's a majority focus without other areas being neglected. After the massage, we walked back through the lobby to the relaxation/ salt room. By this time (we had a 10am apt), it was full. We enjoyed the saunas and left after about 30 min. I ordered this massage via Groupon to try out the facilities. It's about $200 on Groupon. They still charged me a $65 gratuity fee upon check out. We were there for 2 hours max (including dressing, massage, sales pitch, etc. ). They added a hotel room charge to the receipt to up the gratuity. Therefore, it's gratuity based on the massage and a $127 room fee (fee wasn't charged), to up the gratuity fee since it's a percentage of services. Therefore, even with a "deal" you're not getting a deal for what you actually get. The pool area was packed by the time we left the spa around 11:45am. No shade for most chairs, with a heat index of 110! From the sand to the cement, my feet with literally burning. The pool is overcrowded. We lasted 30 min in this area. Overall, there's too much competition and nicer spas and hotel pools to ever return here. I've been to many (Hilton, Omni, Rosen, etc.), and this location does not compare. Also, I don't like shady business with the sales pitch and upping the gratuity. One-and-done experience. We were definitely disappointed after all of the 'hype' about Margaritavilles. read more

I enjoyed a therapeutic massage by Melissa and it was just what I needed! It was relaxing and the stretches were great. I didn't realize the amount of tension I was carrying around. Melissa did a great job and seemed to really take her time in the areas that needed more attention. She was gentle but applied just the right amount of pressure. The spa is lovely and the staff are inviting and attentive. I enjoyed everything from the arrival snacks and tea, to a post massage mimosa. Leaving today a happy camper. I recently came in for a mani/pedi. My husband purchased a Groupon for me to have a little me time since I'm nine months pregnant and my toes have especially been getting neglected! Making my reservation was really easy. I did have to call a few times to get someone, but when I did talk to someone it was a pretty simple process. They had a lot of availability - possibly because of COVID? Carine was my tech and she was great. I'm usually really ticklish when it comes to pedicures and she was super gentle. I also appreciated how sanitary everything was. Not just from a COVID perspective, but with the actual tools she was using. The different tools were packaged and she took a lot of care to clean things as she went. I didn't really see much else of the spa save for the lobby, nail area, and bathroom. The Margaritaville vibe was everywhere, very beachy and relaxed. I have utilized Groupons at other area resort spas and usually get access to the pool and facilities. They didn't offer it to me, which was fine in this case because I wasn't really trying to spend a lot of time away from home but would be something I'd ask about if I came back. read more

$692 for an 80 minute couples massage which included one of us getting cbd oil. The price apparently included a resort fee of 20% in which the masseuses get a very small percentage so it is not considered tip. The front desk refused to explain what percentage they actually get so we could tip appropriately. In the end we left an additional $100 tip for the two professionals that handled our massages as an additional tip. The place is small but nice enough and the massage as ok. Very professional and would have been worth the usual $300-400 you would normally pay. No where was the experience worth over $700. The only consolation is you do get access to the pools on the Margaritaville Resort Orlando property but they are always crowded and also just mediocre. I had a large group all doing massages and certain factors make me debate giving them 3-4 stars. We liked how there was a spa attendant who set up our lockers with robes ahead of time before bringing us back. We liked the robes and sandals themselves, which were surprisingly comfortable. Everything was clean and organized with extra items like a hairdryer under the sink. The massage itself was done in a nice clean room, the therapists were all good, and the massages themselves were good-amazing depending on what therapist we got. The annoying part was that they try to upsell you on adding enhancements before you start (even though they already give you that option on your intake form) I would understand a quick yes or no question but they to as far as to having you smell products they could potentially use. Luckily I shut her down quick because I had a feeling this was taking away from my massage time, and it was. I'm the type of person who checks when the massage starts and ends (because I work in a spa ) We started at 12:05 and I was done promptly at 12:50. I felt bad for my friends whose therapists took longer to upsell, cutting more of their massage. It seemed some therapists tried to sell more than others, some of my friends said their therapist took a simple yes or no answer and promptly began the massage. The lounge is coed which was fine because there were never many people in it other than us. Although, that area is very small so if multiple couples were there at once you definitely wouldn't have a salt chair, my group of 5 filled them all. Came for an piece of work 80 minute therapeutic massage. Upon arrival greeted with professionalism and respect and quickly lead into the relaxation room. Locker room was equipped with robe, towels and lockers. As I entered the relaxation room I was amazed--- salt room with salt chairs--- steam room with eucalyptus, sauna, tea available and ice cold fruit infused water. Next on to my massage! It was absolutely amazing and while excruciating at times it was exactly what I needed and requested after 2 years of covid stress. I have never had such an amazing massage. Truly. Following the massage I went back to the relaxation room and enjoyed it some more while hydrating with the fruit infused water. Following this amazing experience I was given access to their fun resort pool area with lots going on and great drinks! A few things to note considering some of these one star reviews: 1. No idea how mani / pedi are. But I can't imagine this would give you access to full spa amenities. If you want them check before you go. 2. Know what type of service you are purchasing. As with any spa there is a big difference between relaxation massages and deep tissue. 3. Sounds to me they upgraded the spa--- it was clean and well decorated.... and plenty of access to hydration. 4. The locker room, flip flops are not the same as the ritz carlton, but neither are the prices. 5. They add a 20% required gratuity on the service. Well deserved. 6. The massage was very good. I missed my therapists name for both, but the massage was done by a guy with arm tattoos. He had good pressure, stretched me just enough, and I felt like a million bucks by the end. He's probably a little more heavy handed, with firm pressure, so if that's your thing, ask for the guy with forearm tattoos. The facial... Omg. I will RUN back for that one. I called to make an appointment, checked availability and the girl on the phone confirmed there were two appointments open. I told her I would call right back to confirm. I called back exactly 2 minutes later and was sent to voicemail. This happened 4 more times until I finally got through. When it finally rang and someone picked up she told me she was putting me on hold. I waited over 10 minutes on hold and when she finally picked up the phone she told me the spots were filled. So because they don't have enough staff answering phones or anyone with half a brain who could have told me spots are booking fast or that there was a possibility we'd lose our spots within the next 2 minutes, our spots were lost. The worst part is they were very rude and condescending over the phone. Uncaring and making it extremely clear that they did not want or need my business. Spa services are not cheap and people want to go places where there is good service. If the front desk staff is this rude I can completely understand why this spa is so poorly rated everywhere. The fact they call this a spa is comical. Save your money! A friend and I have been trying different hotel spas in the Orlando area for years. While I know every place can't be a Ritz or Four Seasons-I feel after our experience this shouldn't even be called a spa. Every hotel spa I have ever visited normally included use of the amenities either before of after the service. We usually arrive early, have lunch, sit by the pool and just make a day of it. We thought our visit here would be similar since they advertise a salt room, steam room and sauna but we were wrong. We arrived a couple hours prior to our appointment. Upon check in we asked if we could use the amenities and were told we can come back one hour prior to our appointment to use them. That was disappointing. We then asked if we could at least change so we could sit by the pool. They took us back but informed us we couldn't store our belongings in a locker until an hour prior as well. This was a first. No tour was provided and the changing area was no different than a gym locker room. Cold, sterile and small! This is the first ( and hopefully the last) time I will have to change in a bathroom stall at a spa. We made our way out to the pool area and were handed one towel that was no thicker than a car shammie. We ordered food - which was decent and probably the only good thing about our visit and made our way back 90 minutes prior to our appointment hoping we could use the amenities. Nope-we were asked to sit in the lobby in terribly uncomfortable wicker chairs until we were an hour out. We finally were taken back and handed a robe, but no slippers- another first. We made our way to the "relaxation room" and I think surprise is the best way to describe how we felt. The "salt room", sauna and steam room is all in one room. So bizarre. So while you are sitting in the salt chairs you are literally looking at those using the sauna or steam room. They are clear glass enclosed rooms, so they are looking at you and you at them. So awkward and definitely not relaxing! In addition, there are only 8 salt chairs and they were all full so you either had to stand or sit in another uncomfortable wicker chair stuck in a corner facing the salt chairs-so close you could put your feet up on someone's chair. There was only water and hot tea offered. No trail mix or snacks like at most spas. When it came time for my service I was escorted to a room only to find out it was not ready so back to the relaxation room I went. I was then escorted to another room that required I walk through the spa lobby in my robe-again awkward. As soon as I entered the room I noticed a basket of products on the massage table. I am used to being upsold during facials- but always after the service so they can show me what they used if I liked how my skin felt. But this was a massage appointment. She proceeded to have me smell a product and went into a full sales pitch - before she even used them! After telling her I was happy with my current product line I use at home the service started. My neck and shoulders are my trouble areas so I asked if she could apply a bit more pressure in those areas. Now this-this is the most absurd thing. I was told there would be an up charge for extra pressure in those areas. What? I know deep tissue massages are a bit more, but I wasn't asking for that. Just a bit more pressure in a couple areas. Unbelievable. Whoever manages this "spa" needs to book an appointment at the Four Seasons to see what a real spa looks like and how they are run. This spa is fairly new and located in the Margaritaville Resort in Kissimmee. I used a Groupon at this spa. The spa has a relaxing feel. It is ideal for couples wanting to enjoy time together. The waiting room features salt recliners, a steam room and a dry sauna which are all located in a coed section of the spa. The massage was enjoyable and the glass of wine (included with the Groupon) was a nice touch to help you relax even more. If you go, I recommend making a full day out of it, to make it worthwhile. You can make use of the gym in the morning and then after your massage head over to the hotel's tropical pool. Outside in the pool area, you can listen to live music while you soak up the sun and there is an outdoor bar which also serves food as well. The area surrounding the pool has white beach style sand and plenty of loungers and chairs to get comfortable. I took one start off because I didn't like the fact that the spa imposes a mandatory tip of $30 per massage. I think the tip should be base at the discretion of the guest. Also, many of the spa staff had large tattoos showing which was a bit of a turn off. Heads up, I have no idea how Groupon works however, my daughter bought me pampering service at St., Somewhere Spa im Margarita Ville in Orlando Fl. That was the worst experience I've ever had as far as getting a manicure pedicure. The manicurist didn't even put my hands in a bowl of water. She mentioned she was in the business for 31 years She used what looked like a 10 cent emery board and spend all of 30 seconds on each finger. I knew immediately this was not going to be good. I had to keep pointing out cuticle matter for her to clip . The polish I chose was all over my fingers tips and cuticles . I was absolutely livid. All I can do was laugh. I could have approached her and the manager at the counter, but I didn't want to ruin anyone else experience because people were coming and going. Don't use this spa for any important event! I booked appointment for "event hair and makeup" for my son's wedding that was happening at the resort. The room that the hair stylist was working in was dark and extremely tight that she bumped into us multiple times. We were not offered a shampoo either. Luckily I had just washed my hair that morning but my mother had not. The charge for the service was extremely high and the hair style was something that I could have done myself. My mother has short hair and all that was done was a teasing on it. My niece had a simple blow out. At $100 per person it was ridiculous cost for the services. The makeup artist was not experienced enough to do our makeup and we had to use our own products and at one point we were putting on our own makeup. She was using ELF products that can be bought in any store for low price. She did not know how to mix blush colors to match our skin tones and the lashes she used were too long and had to be cut down with a scissor that is used for paper in the rest of the spa. And because of this they were uneven and we looked like old cuppie dolls! We all returned to our rooms to redo our makeup. The mani and pedi we had done 2 days before the event were so basic that they didn't even put on a clear bottom or top coat on the polish. There are so many little added hidden charges its incredibly gross. The manager Jocelyn that I spoke to about the fact that I was being charged $20 to have my toenail polish removed (even though I was already paying for a pedicure) was incredibly condescending and not helpful at all. She stated emphatically that all of the charges were listed on their website, so I pulled up the website on my phone and asked her to show me, which she, of course, could not. It was our anniversary and the experience was good until my husband checked his pocket and $200 was missing. When our massage was over he went into the men's locker room and found a female employee inside. She appeared to be putting new towels and robes in to the lockers. He noticed his items were not stacked in the locker as he had placed them. My husband put his headphones in his pocket and folded his pants but when he returned the headphones were thrown in the back of the locker. I advised her that I knew that was a lie because an employee opened my locker for me and it only took her a minute to do so. The manager than stated they are NOT responsible for lost or stolen items. Parking is kind of wonky but the salon is cute and quaint and with an amenities pass there is all the more reason to book services here.

This was the worst massage I have ever had. I wouldn't even call it a massage, there was no pressure used. He was basically rubbing lotion on. I had booked a groupon and at the beginning they said the service is for light to medium pressure, I agreed and said medium pressure. That is not what I got, it was such a light touch. He said if I want more pressure I need to pay more for an upgrade, he had attitude that really made the whole thing uncomfortable. Basically if you use a group on they don't give you an actual massage unless you pay for their add on services. I have never asked for more than medium pressure for a massage, the therapist purposely did a poor job. read more

Loved the massage! However I give it two star because the relaxation area was not so relaxing. While you are trying to relax on the amazing chairs. There are people walking up and down. Touring, coming out of their massages etc talking loud . Not relaxing at ALL. Other than that I thought the massage was amazing and the place beautiful. read more
