Dan, the pharmacist at St. Mark's, is the best I have ever dealt with in my 50 years in Florida. I had been using a mail order pharmacy, and every month was filled with misinformation, delays, errors and anxiety. Now that I have switched all my meds to Dan, I am so relieved. Dan is always helpful, cheerful and gets my meds to me on time. He's also always available to answer my questions and solve any concerns with insurance. Dan at St. Mark's Pharmacy is hands-down the best pharmacist I've ever had. He's always kind, remembers me, and actually takes the time to talk and "chop it up" instead of rushing me out the door. You can tell he genuinely cares and that they actually look out for you here, unlike the big box chains where you're just another number. I strongly recommend avoiding St. Marks Pharmacy in Palm Harbor, Florida. The pharmacist charged my brother a shocking $800 to fill a prescription that's currently in short supply. This happened during a state of emergency while Hurricane Helene made its way to Florida's West Coast. That's not only outrageous, it's illegal, and its called, "Price Gouging.' Pharmacists have a duty to help people, especially in emergencies, not take advantage of them. I've filed complaints with the Florida Board of Pharmacy and will be contacting the Florida State Attorney's Office as well. You can too, if you've been overcharged. Please help me spread the word to warn others of this corrupt pharmacist. read more

YOU ACTUALLY MATTER!! My Dr recommended this pharmacy for a medication that my normal "Big Chain" had been unable to fill for months. From the 1st call Dan , the pharmacist, was very helpful and refreshingly pleasant. Upon arriving I was greeted w a smile, pleasant conversation and within minutes my insurance was processed and script ready! I was so amazed as I am used to dropping off & waiting hours / next day (best case) or days with no definite pick up ( worst case) despite being a customer for 5+ years. I was called Thursday by my OLD pharm that a script I had dropped off 8 days prior was not going to be available on Sunday nor could they tell me when it would be leaving me without medications that are vital for my health. This would have been the 4th time in under a year I would have fallen deathly ill & been hospitalized over incompetence & disregard for my well-being. I called St Marks, spoke with Dan and he saved the day! (In my case weeks) He had my special order meds in this morning and called me to let me know. I transferred ALL my prescriptions over! In 1 visit I was remembered, called by name, treated courteously and had my medications in minutes! If you suffer with health conditions those little things are HUGE & even if you don't it's nice to do business w a proprietor who reciprocates appreciation. We discovered St. Mark's Pharmacy several years ago, when it first was getting started. It came highly recommended from a friend of ours who was a pharmacist in a big box store. Like us, she was totally exhausted from the pace and the rules she had to follow. Everyone was just a name and/or number. Who likes that treatment?? Well, we too, wanted a pharmacist that really knows us and our prescription needs and problems. Finding St. Mark's was one of the best things we ever came across. It is owned by a very wonderful and kind husband and wife team - both pharmacists - and both totally delightful people! The both of us can't imagine what we would do without Dan and Hannah! The service is beyond terrific! There is no standing in long lines, no arguing over this or that, scripts are ready almost before you hang up on your call! If a script is out of date, they will call the doctor's office to get it as quickly as possible. Questions are answered and we have never felt rushed or not very important. Dan and Hannah do everything possible to make your trip for scripts simple and sure they are ready as a needed. Everyone comes in with a smile (if you're not too sick!) and actually, when we go to St. Mark's, it is like talking to our friends - and yes, we think of Dan and Hannah as our friends. When I or my husband travel, our scripts are filled and ready to go with us. We can ask any questions about any script or any treatment. They are there and always ready to help. Besides all this, their store carries a variety of products from reading glasses, over-the-counter meds, and even greeting cards that are just delightful and aren't six or seven dollars! I even believe they will deliver a script when someone cannot actually get there in person. Does this sound like the big box store treatment?? No way! We are grateful to have St. Marks pharmacy as our place for whatever we need! The owners are great and so very, very helpful. Give it a try! We can't imagine anyone not being happy with St. Mark's! I have been using St. Marks Pharmacy since they opened. The service is consistently excellent. My multiple prescriptions are always correct (unlike the chain pharmacies I've used) and St. Marks manages all the refills and details so I don't have to. When I have a new prescription sent in at a doctors visit, I get a call from St. Marks that it's ready before I leave the parking lot! It's conveniently located and the pharmacists/staff are fabulous! If you want the personal service you don't get at the chain pharmacies, go to St. Marks. If you want a pharmacist who knows you and cares about your health, go to St. Marks. They are the best! read more

I recently moved to Palm Harbor, FL. Being on a fixed income I shopped around for the best prices for my prescription drugs employing such resources as GoodRx.com and Senior Life Services.
