From the beginning, communication with Austin Medical Equipment was very good. Scheduling was easy, and I appreciated that so much of the process could be handled online. There was a problem when I arrived for my first appointment, though. They had the wrong CPAP device listed for me, so I couldn't accept it and had to leave without a machine. That was frustrating, but what matters to me is how a business handles a mistake. I contacted someone with AdaptHealth that my doctor's office had given me, and she got the issue corrected. I recently returned and picked up the correct device, and the service I received was outstanding. Something else that stood out was watching other people come into the office needing help with their equipment. The staff treated them patiently, respectfully, and with dignity. That goes a long way when you're dealing with medical equipment and people who may already be frustrated or uncomfortable. Austin Medical Equipment is part of AeroCare, which AdaptHealth acquired in early 2021. So if you used this location years ago and had a bad experience, it may be worth reconsidering it under the current organization. My first appointment certainly wasn't perfect, which is why I'm at four stars, but they took ownership of the problem, fixed it, and ultimately left me feeling very comfortable using them in the future.

I personally tried the Ube "coffee" (chicory root, rhodiola blend).. my first impression of the flavor wasn't positive because it had zero notes of sweetness but the more I drank the more I romanticized it for its herbal benefits. It was a very pretty drink as well. I wasn't 100% displeased with it but I wouldn't order it again. I had a sip of the strawberry milk and it was actually amazing lol I think I'd try the strawberry matcha next time.
