I moved out of Dunedin about 20 years ago but was looking for a repair for my walker. I went to many places and meant to call Medicine Shoppe. I finally did and they were amazing. I called, I went in and in 15 minutes they repaired my walker for a minimal fee. But most importantly was the friendly attitude of everyone that worked there. Not only that they allowed me to bring my dog (extremely friendly, they did ask) in to sit with me. And had a treat for him. Glowing reviews.

Today was the final straw. I know better than to go when Im in a hurry but I had no choice because Im leaving out of town. So I wait my turn while the only zombie employee at the register SLOWLY walks two old people through their very long process, literally 10 long minutes. Finally.... it's my turn! As I walk to his register another employee walks up and calls the next person behind me. Im standing at this zombie's register as he is keying in something on his register, not acknowledging me at all, when he finally says to me as he finishes keying in his task, then literally walks away and mumbles "Im out of here!" So here Ive waited my turn, Ive gone up to his register waiting as he is keying in his task,, and instead of telling me before I walked over or even as I approached, he waited until I was standing there, until after I assume he clocked out, and then tells me. Unnecessary and extremely rude "gotcha moment," for whatever was his reasoning. Of course then I had to wait while the other cashier finished with the customer that was behind me until I could be helped. As I left the store, he was standing at the front register. So I went up to him and told him he was rude for doing that. He yells "Well I didnt call you to my register!" like Im supposed to know to stand at the line like an obedient puppy waiting to be called by the master, lol. Are there posted instructions directing paying customers to wait until theyre called somewhere, because I missed that memo. Im done with this horrible pharmacy and the crappy rude zombies who work there. Already transferred my monthly prescriptions, Im done! BOOOOOOOOO!!! alll the pharmacy employees take lunch at the same exact time and shut the pharmacy down. It's an unusual business practice, inconvenient to customers who dont know (because it's unusual), and then when it is 2pm and supposed to be open.....the employees come straggling in one at a time after 2:03. 2:04, 2:05....whenever they feel good and ready I guess. No apology to the 15 customers waiting for them to open back up just a grumbling "are you picking up." I go here because the location and because the front register people are always so helpful and friendly. The pharmacy needs an overhaul. Also clean your floors, they're really gross.

She said she was going to keep my card and to come back in 20 min. When I returned she said they just closed for lunch and told me leave and come back again. I said I really need it filled and I needed to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor insisted the register was closed during lunch. I said i just want my insurance cards back and she at first argued with me and said didn't know where they were. Finally she agreed to give them back. The whole experience was bizarre as well as the behavior from both women.

Some items require at least 24 hours in advance but I made sure to order a few days before the event to ensure adequate time for the crew to prepare. On the day of the event, there was a hiccup at pickup at the deli section. I set the time for it to be done around 10 AM. Around 11:30 AM I got a text message from my lady picking up saying the deli section wasn't fully ready so she went to customer service for assistance. The manager issued a refund for the popcorn chicken so we appreciate their customer service. Everyone loved the food and I can count on Publix for their quality and care. The bakery items of pastries and cookies were a hit too! Shopping is a pleasure at your local Publix!
