Mac and cheese

Needed a place to do some work on my lunch and get a light lunch so I'm glad I stopped in here! Food was out super quick and was hot and a great portion for what I was wanting. I do think Panera is a bit pricey but the food is always good. Tables needed wipes down but otherwise seemed like a pretty clean establishment and employees were nice. Will definitely be coming back!

It's breadco. You're not going to get anything amazing here, I feel like chains have to be plain enough to appeal to the masses, so you're not going to get anything mind blowing here. But if you're in the need for food this place will do. The place seemed clean for the most part and the order moved fast so overall it was a good experience.

That's the Turkey AVOCADO blt. I added the Mayo at home. Sigh.

I really wish the app didn't route my delivery to this store. For a brief time we got food from the Webster Groves location and it was always a good experience. The Sunset Hills location, however, is laden with delivery issues. Their drivers are great. The food accuracy leaves a lot of room for improvement. We've received the wrong order. Incorrect sandwich build. Forgotten items. And tonight's avocado issue just added to the aggravation. If avocado is in the title of the sandwich, please add more than a quarter of a teaspoon. Now, to be fair, the manager comped my portion when I called to complain. But, the regularity of the mistakes are at the point of where I'm feeling singled out. It's either that or they all need retraining.

My broccoli soup was served in this disgusting unwashed bowl with brown stains

You could see what's been previously served in your bowl after you finish your broccoli cheddar. There were brown stains. Broccoli cheddar is definitely a light yellow color. That after I asked for a second spoon since the first was all sticky and dirty. Simply delicious!

Pulled up to window at 8:05pm. They told me they were closed and not taking orders. Website and door hours say close at 9:00.

The weather was really nice so we sat outdoors. I ordered the grilled cheese and corn chowder.

I present to you The Bobbi...their legendary signature sub packed with slow-roasted, in-house shredded turkey, homemade stuffing, cranberry sauce, and mayo. It is practically a holiday on a roll, and honestly, Thanksgiving gets entirely too much flak for only happening once a year anyway. Not feeling festive? They've got you covered with heavy hitters like the Classic Cheesesteak, the Chicken Bacon Ranch, and The Capastrami, all served on soft rolls that somehow possess the structural integrity to handle an ungodly amount of meat. Wash it down with some seasoned fries and a house-baked 'brookie' because calories apparently don't count here. Between the friendly, fast service and the fact that you can get your feast via dine-in, curbside, or delivery, Capriotti's is a dangerous, delicious discovery. Consider yourself warned.

I got hot peppers and no mushrooms on my Philly. It was well seasoned, the bread was super tasty not too soggy. Fries were crispy and delicious. still a little pricey, we got 2 small sandwiches, large fries no drinks and it was about $38, HOWEVER, I very much enjoyed my meal. Also, small is a bit misleading, it's deff about a 10inch sandwhich was was plenty for me and you can get a mini as well. I'm glad I came back, it hit my cravings for the day!

I am still thinking about it and will get one again the next time they are baked. The workers are always so friendly and offer recommendations. While I also like their savory bread for sandwiches or just to snack on, I am a huge fan of their sweet breads and have never had a bad one. As soon as you walk by this shop, you can smell the smells and it's so inviting when you step inside. I also appreciate how they have some packaged items for sale as well as a cold case with other deli snacks. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

The parking can be hard to find depending on the time of the day. The pastries and breads are always fresh, aromatic and delicious. The cookies are always delicious and freshly baked every day. I usually order the chicken salad sandwich and Colorado green chile. The bread to the sandwich bread is thick and the chicken salad is very delicious, with cranberries and nuts. The soup has a lot of veggies; beans, carrots, and broccoli. The base is always bland, each time I order the soup I am hoping it is more seasoned, but it is not, I usually season it myself. This is a nice place for both breakfast and lunch. After you have eaten, there is the beautiful Kirkwood downtown you can walk and browse the other shops in the area. .

Amighetti's scratches that itch and then some. I've only ever ordered delivery from this location so far, but every time it's been perfect. This is a sandwich for serious sandwich-eaters: the Special, packed with meats, plenty of (free) toppings, the right amount of vinegary dressing, and delivered with care. I added a bottle of local root beer to my order and it came very thoughtfully packed in a protective cardboard box. My only criticism is the cole slaw comes in such a tiny container -- but it's likely what you'd expect if you were picking up your work of art from the counter in a basket. Very recommended.

The guy at the counter was funny, nice, and a cool vibe. The lady behind the counter was just as delightful. I loved the amighetti's special- that bread though! Wow! I got so full off of the brussels, fried cheese rav (not very full of cheese- mostly hollow- would not order those again), and the half special sub. I left very full! They had an egg hunt set up outside that was really cute, so I took three eggs with yummy candies inside. It was adorable!

I also love that this space aims to provide front/ back of house skills for adults with intellectual disabilities. We went in the afternoon, so a lot of bakery items were sold out (good sign). They had full size gooey butter cakes and pre wrapped items ready to, so definitely keeping that in mind. They also had their famous smile cookies (I've been eating them since I was a kid). They have a full ice cream bar in here (had no idea) which is great to add to the sweet treat line up. My coffee was great (iced latte) and the service was also good. Parking can be tricky in downtown Kirkwood (if you know you know) but we scored a lucky spot on the street right outside. Check it out!

And I don't remember what I had, lol! I liked it and I'll return to update this review if I remember what it was. A few of the employees -- people perhaps in their early 20s who did not appear to take their jobs as seriously as the cashier -- were engaged in a private conversation behind the counter. The cashier and customers had to wait a moment to get their attention about a menu item that had been discontinued, though the online menu we found had not been updated. We had a group of 8 people. We sat upstairs. I wasn't all over the setup of the space. Perhaps half of the seating is upstairs and the stairs have a bend/turn. The person bussing lost control of the tray. From what I could see, in her attempt to regain control of the tray, she fell and broke something or some glass cut her and she was bleeding quite a lot before she left for treatment. I think smaller trays may be in order, or a dumbwaiter, or perhaps an employee with better upper body control could do this task. Between that and a comment said by one of the waitstaff that I prefer not to repeat, I am hoping I caught them on an "off" day. We need more businesses like this one. The food was good, too, so I will return.
