I had a very pleasant and comfortable visit. Very honest, & up front about the treatment needed.

This is the most wonderful & caring Medical Group you could ever reach out to if you need to see a…read morereliable Endodontist. I was referred to St. Johns Endodontists the end of January (yes the end of January!) after seeing my long-time dentist for my six-month cleaning. He was concerned about one tooth & referred me Dr. Andrew McClure there who did not see the need for a root canal as he stated my teeth were in great condition. He referred me for dry-needling procedures, which I did for a couple of months but then pain hit me in same tooth. Dr. McClure could not see me for four weeks as he stated he had lost two associates &:was short-staffed staffed. I was so blessed to receive the info on Gerich Endodontists who took their own x-rays on Day 1 & immediately did a lengthy procedure to save my tooth & prevent implant. IDr. Gary Manassee & his Associate Lauren (and entire staff) are so kind, caring & knowledgeable. They immediately took preventative measures to stop the infection so that the upcoming root canal canal can be completed. Please know that I always have taken excellent care of my teeth...flossing,using quality dental products, cleanings every six months, have never smoked or been one to eat acidity-filled foods, even having bonding on my front teeth for cosmetic looks....would never have thought that the Dental "Experts" I saw in the past were actually non-caring about their patients. I just know this staff of professionals I was so blessed to have found.

Geric Endodontics never disappoints. As someone who always had a fear of invasive dental procedures…read morethis team was top tier in making sure that I remained calm and comfortable throughout.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this dental office. From start to finish, the…read morelevel of professionalism and patient care fell far below what I expected. Communication was poor, appointments were not handled efficiently, and I felt my concerns were dismissed rather than addressed. The staff appeared disorganized to my case, and the overall experience left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a patient. What was most concerning was the lack of transparency regarding treatment recommendations and costs. I did not feel that adequate explanations were provided, making it difficult to make informed decisions about my dental care. I originally came in for a routine cleaning about a year and a half ago with no pain, sensitivity, or concerns regarding my teeth. During the visit, I was told I had a couple of cavities that were not a major concern, but I agreed to have them treated anyway. Since that treatment, I have experienced constant pain and sensitivity that I never had before. I can no longer comfortably bite into foods as simple as chicken without pain, and drinking anything cold causes significant discomfort. What should have been a straightforward procedure has turned into a year-and-a-half-long ordeal. Over this period, I returned multiple times to report the same symptoms. Rather than seriously addressing my concerns, I was repeatedly told that the work had been performed professionally and that the discomfort would eventually go away. Days turned into weeks, weeks into months, and now more than a year later, the pain remains and has only gotten worse. The treatment was redone five separate times, yet the issue was never resolved. Despite acknowledging the ongoing problem by repeatedly redoing the work, the conversation than became that there was no need to continue and that "these things happen with age." This explanation is difficult to accept considering the pain began immediately after treatment and was never present beforehand. What has been most frustrating is feeling dismissed throughout the entire process. During my most recent visit, after more than a year of consistently reporting the same symptoms, I felt as though my concerns were not taken seriously. At one point, I was even left with the impression that the dentist questioned whether the pain I was experiencing was real. No patient seeking help for a persistent issue should be made to feel that way. I have placed a tremendous amount of trust in this healthcare provider. I trusted this office to improve my dental health, and instead I have been dealing with pain, sensitivity, repeated appointments, and unanswered concerns for over a year. I want to make it clear that this review is not directed at the dental assistants or "most" of the front desk and scheduling staff. In my experience, the majority of them were kind, professional, and genuinely seemed to care about helping patients. My concerns are specifically directed toward the individuals responsible for handling my ongoing care. Is what made this such a frustrating and uncomfortable experience.

So I call to make an appointment and I'm told new patients have to come in for two appointments almost back to back. Ok a little different but whatever. I also make sure to ask that they except my insurance. She says yes they do so wonderful I am a happy customer. The first visit is to be a very thorough visit with all kinds of photos and things that I have never done before. The second visit would be for the cleaning. Well the receptionist called me a few days before my visit and asked if I could stay for the cleaning. I was a bit confused as this was to happen on the 2nd visit but it wasn't a problem and I told her I could stay. I asked once again if they had checked with my insurance company and she said yes everything was good. So on the day of my appointment, I check in and then the office manager calls me back to her office. Weird. She lets me know that they are Out-of-Network and she is not sure how much will be covered by my insurance and how much I will owe. So I was not happy and it did not give me a good first impression or visit. I will say the hygienist who cleaned my teeth and apologized profusely was very nice and so was the dentist. I think the front office needs to be upfront and do a better job. Maybe this is their way of getting people in there and getting money. The jury is still out if I will go back. It will depend on when I receive my bill and see how much I owe.
