Not only did he distract me from all of the usual drilling and typical dentist's office sounds by sharing humorous stories, but he made me laugh my way through the whole process. His style of dentistry will have me in his chair until he retires. :O) I was thoroughly pleased with his professionalism, technique and genuinely kind nature. We had service…read moreperformed by him months ago, and they ran our insurance and contacted them to verify our portion of the payment, which we paid before services were rendered. Sometime later (months), something changed, either insurance or their billing, they then set us a bill for a somewhat large sum of money, which we could not pay outright. We started making payments for many months, never heard anything from them. They cashed the check, we kept sending it, with every intention of fulfilling our end. Fast forward at least 9 months, we get a letter saying our payments were unacceptable and they would collect on us if we did not pay out what was still a relatively large sum of money in two payments. Magically our payments weren't good enough? But they kept cashing the checks without issue. End of story, they sent it to collections, which they have to pay for. The collections office found it pretty funny, and said just send the payments to them. They get paid, and we still pay the same bill. Only one who loses is the office, because they are paying to get money back they were already going to get back. Despite his good service as a doctor, I can't recommend anyone go there unless you're made of cash or dying.

Local dentist called this Endo and asked if they could see me on a urgent basis. They said they could work me in and they did. Said the amount would be $463. I asked the local dentist to call them back and verify they understood they were an out of network provider for MetLife and they understood that and repeated the amount was $463. Based on this I agreed to make the appointment. Went to the endo and the staff and Dr. Smith were all professional and the service he provided was exceptional. Now the bad. Got a bill a few weeks later for $499 on top of the $463 I had already paid up front. When we called to understand why the additional amount, we were advised that they are out of network for MetLife. We advised, yes we knew that and all of that was understood before making the appointment and was even questioned a second time before agreeing to the appointment. The next thing they said is, well we estimated your insurance to pay $1,000 on the claim. My response was, you quoted me $463, estimated the insurance would pay $1,000 on an out of network claim. At this point I told them they were full of **** and that basically they pulled a bait and switch. So now they want me to pay basically over double the amount that was originally quoted. Given the fact they knew my insurance was out of network and they fact that they are saying they estimated the insurance would pay $1,000 makes all of this seem they indeed did pull the ole bait and switch. Granted I am still thankful they fit me in and did a great job. But it is definitely buyer beware Obviously you can ask all the right questions but if they know your in pain and need something urgent, you may end up paying more than double the original quote you are given. It's sad businesses still operate this was today, but I guess a crook is a crook at the end of the day!!! Hopefully they will assist in resolving this in a fair and equitable way for both parties involved. If not, its going to be a long haul as I for one will not be a victim of an obvious bait and switch. Lastly, I apologize to the billing lady at the office who got the brunt of my frustration over all this. Doubt I'm the first one to display my frustrations though if this is truly how they do business.

The front desk is very welcoming, professional, and courteous. My teenage son was first seen for a cleaning and consultation for several extractions. The hygienist was amazing. I let her know my concerns and she was very understanding. She made sure that my son knew all of the consequences for not taking care of his teeth. She is amazing! I am terrible with names but I do believe her name was April. If I am wrong please forgive me. He later saw Dr. Scales for fillings and teeth extractions he had zero complications or complaints. His mind was at ease and he was told what was being done and what to expect every step of the way. As I waited in the waiting area they made sure to let me know how he was doing a couple times throughout the procedure. Afterwards, Again I am terrible with names, the young lady with beautiful red hair, was very thorough with the after care instructions I was confident in what needed to be done at home. I had a very small filling fall out and they were able to make an appointment for me quickly. Before my appointment I had a bigger filling fall out, they got me in and were able to assess the problem and do a temporary fix until my appointment and made sure I was not in pain over the weekend. I saw Dr. Moreno and he was amazing. His staff put my mind at ease, as I have a fear of the numbing shots. I did not even feel the shots or anything else during the entire procedure. They made my crown the same day, so I did not have to get a temporary crown and take more time off of work for another appointment to get the permanent crown. Again I am bad with names, this young lady is from Kentucky, and she made sure my crown was perfect. Her and Dr. Moreno made sure that all of my concerns and questions were addressed before I went home. The young ladies at the counter when you leave are great as well. They have always addressed any questions I had. I know there are some behind the scenes people whom I have never met but they answer the phone when I call and they are amazing. They always explain everything to me and make sure I completely understand before we hang up. As I stated earlier they made appointments for me very quickly when needed, even called me if there was a cancellation so I could be seen sooner. Sorry but not sorry for the long review enough cannot be said about this office. Thank you for all you do!

Care provided is good…read more Administration, just the pits. Absolute worthless, near non existent. They took FOUR MONTHS to contact patients about dropping an entire LARGE medical insurance provider. Then, the call came under 14hrs BEFORE an appointment, that had been scheduled over six months in advance. Their excuse? "We have a lot of patients". It's, apparently, too hard to generate an email (I receive their updates) message to patients under that provider and let them know about that pesky detail. An electronic calendar too hard, too, a thing to use. Not the first (or tenth, for that matter) admin issue; I remained with them for over 3 years due to the quality of care, but seldom they were on the ball about paperwork. Also my favorite, the lip from admin personnel. Love that. Just a shame.
