Fun times with all the food trucks every other Wednesday. Word is, starting the first of the year, it will go down every Wednesday.

Do your research! This school has been mismanaged for years-- low enrollment = no money-- poor teachers = uninspired learning

I feel badly for the reviewers who had such a tough time at this beautiful school. We have never…read moreexperienced anything but empathy, professionalism, inclusion, and academic integrity at Echo. The teachers are top notch. They teach the traditional subjects in such a bright and engaging way, our daughter fell in love with subjects she never even felt comfortable with earlier in her life: science, writing, and math. Ms. Proctor has to be the best kept secret on the Westside. She is a dynamic, kind, no-B.S. leader. The administration spends ALL of their time crafting the best educational and social experience for our kids, not fundraising, boosting and assuaging egos, and creating unimpactful events. Everyone is low-key. Real. Our lives are changed by attending Echo. Their kids go on to the most selective secondary schools in Los Angeles. If your kids don't fit in those pods, they won't lead you astray. They'll shepherd you to where your particular kid will thrive and show them love all the way.

Basically, if you can't afford a huge part or all of the $35,000 yearly tuition, you are out!! My son is a gifted student, so I had asked for a scholarship for him. We were in the process of enrolling him for six months, with the hopeful intentions of him going to a great school. But because we can't afford it, we were denied.

From day one, the entire Pacifica team has been incredibly kind, welcoming, and supportive. What we appreciate most is that Pacifica is a true Montessori school--rather than a school that uses Montessori materials. The teachers genuinely respect each child's individuality while encouraging independence, confidence, and a love of learning. We've watched our daughter grow so much over the past year, not only academically but also socially and emotionally. She looked forward to going to school every day, and that says a lot. Thank you to Mrs. Rosa and the entire Pacifica team for creating such a wonderful environment for children to learn and thrive. We are so grateful and can wholeheartedly recommend Pacifica to any family looking for an authentic Montessori education.

Pacifica Montessori was my daughter's very first school in the United States. We moved here from…read moreanother country, and she spent two wonderful years at Pacifica. Looking back, I truly feel proud and grateful that our family had the opportunity to be part of this community. First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Ms. Flores, Ms. Kumari, Ms. Concepcion, Ms. Cole, Mr. Cole, and all of the wonderful teachers and staff who supported and cared for my daughter over the years. Through the Montessori approach, my daughter developed so much more than academic skills. She became more independent, self-motivated, and confident, and I was especially happy to see her naturally develop leadership and kindness toward younger classmates. Academically, Pacifica also gave her a wonderful foundation. In addition to developing her English communication skills, she learned reading and writing, addition and subtraction, number rolls, and many other concepts that have given her a great head start as she moved on to kindergarten. She is now in kindergarten and has transitioned with confidence. I truly believe that much of that confidence comes from the foundation she built at Pacifica. What I appreciate most, however, is the way the teachers respect each child as an individual and care for them with such warmth, patience, and acceptance. My daughter never truly had a day when she did not want to go to school. Even on mornings when she was a little reluctant to leave home, as soon as she entered the classroom and saw her teachers, she would quickly become happy and comfortable. As a parent who moved here from abroad, knowing that my daughter was in a place where she felt safe, loved, respected, and encouraged meant more to me than I can express. I can wholeheartedly say that I am so glad Pacifica was my daughter's first school in the United States. It will always be a very special place for our family, and we will always be grateful for the two years she spent there.
