As a parent, I love that they focus on building a community for the kids, but they also want the parents to have a community. For some field trips, like apple picking, parents are encouraged to come along, but they also host kid-free gatherings for the parents, which is a great way to get to know everyone, including the staff. The hours are great for working parents and the kids are fed very healthy and interesting foods, helping to expand their palates. Shama is focused on helping to make not just her students lives better, but their parent's too. My husband had to go unexpectedly out of town when I was 8 months pregnant, and Shama allowed us to extend our son's days at daycare at a moment's notice to make our lives easier. Unfortunately the school had to close for a few weeks because of COVID. They reopened 19 weeks ago, with new safety mesures and since then no one has been sick. Kids even don't realize there is a new protocol. So Mrs Darlene, Mr Louie, the teachers, thank you so much for making the school like normal, with running, hugging, laughing, learning children. I wanted to wait until the end of our time at LSP to write a review of the school and I couldn't be happier to say that this school was such a perfect choice for my son.
