4 stars? Let me tell you why…read more We've been visiting The Woodlands Children's Museum regularly for the past couple of years, and overall it's been a solid experience for younger kids. It's a well-managed space that's clearly designed for structured, imaginative play rather than chaos. If you know what to expect, it can be a great outing. Pros: * The location right off The Woodlands Parkway makes it easy to get to without going far out of the way. * The museum is the perfect size--big enough to keep kids engaged, but not overwhelming for parents or little ones. * They host multiple events throughout the month, which helps keep things interesting beyond a standard visit. * Being able to host birthday parties here is a big plus and very convenient. * Pricing feels fair for what's offered, especially compared to larger, more crowded children's attractions. Cons: * The layout doesn't change very often; in two years, I've only seen one noticeable update, which can make repeat visits feel a bit repetitive. * Parking can be frustrating since the lot is shared with a large gym, especially during peak hours. * The shopping center itself is pretty outdated and could really use a remodel, which affects the overall experience. * This is not the place for very hyper kids who need to run freely--everything is more controlled and calm. * There are no concessions, and outside food or drinks aren't allowed, which can be inconvenient for longer visits. Overall, this museum is a great option for younger children who enjoy hands-on, imaginative play in a calm environment. It's affordable, well-located, and thoughtfully run, but best suited for kids who do well with structure. We'll continue to visit, just not expecting major changes each time.

Classes are available for toddlers, children, and adults, and projects change regularly, ranging from crafts to sewing. Schedules change regularly so the website is the best way to find out what they're currently offering. I've been attending an evening adult calligraphy class here for a few weeks and have really enjoyed the process. The instructors are warm and friendly, coaching with clear directions to call out the artist in even extreme 'left-brainy folks' like me. The class is small, making for an intimate class setting where no one ever gets lost. All of the materials are provided, meaning all you have to do is show up with a sense of adventure and a creative spirit.

The nice thing is that they did actual real art not just some crafts that I could do at home with them. The instructors that they have are of course, great with kids. My boys came home every day from camp really excited to show me what they had done and even more excited to go back the next day. Just recently, we signed our 7 yo up for a 6 week (once per week) session. Once again, our experience has been great. We really like that they teach them are concepts. The first lesson they learned about perspective which is pretty cool considering the students and classes are only in first grade. If you're looking for a studio to take your kid who loves art and is ready to learn real art techniques this is the place to go. The instructors are awesome as they are personable, but professional. Either sign up for one class or buy a full month's class. Aside from the classes, I am able to access the gym with enough equipment to use and not having to wait. The place is clean, plenty of shower stalls/daily lockers to use and finally, the front desk staff are helpful. I've already brought a couple of my friends here and are encouraging other friends to join.

Anyway, I enjoyed going here and when I brought somebody here while we were at the water park to take a look, they were very impressed. Facilties are great: kids center, racketball courts 3, I believe, family/media type room where you can work, decent sized gym. We have used this location for classes for our kids and have been happy. It's clean and has no issues but parking, and if you take 5 min to wait, you'll get a spot. I think this place is a great value. And for thirty bucks a month, you get an awful lot, including pool access. The price also decreases, the longer you by the membership. We have bought it a couple of times, and my favorite part about it is.The kids zone is really only a couple of dollars an hour to have them watch your kid while you work out.

I am also a dance teacher at a local school and have a degree in dance from UT Austin. All of this being said, I can't say enough good things about TADA!!! Our experience has been beyond my expectations. My daughter is an excellent dancer, but in the past, she has never been given the opportunity to grow. She had to push HERSELF. She had to join Summer Ballet Intensives for WEEKS at a time. She had to take PRIVATE lessons from choreographers who would stretch her limits. At TADA, my daughter has improved her dance ability 3 fold... and we have only been at this studio for 7 months. She also takes fewer classes a week at TADA than she has taken in the past 4 years and she comes out of class with sweat, knowledge and a smile, wanting me to let her take more classes! With a primary degree in ballet, I know they are teaching everything correctly and safely. Windows are always open and I can watch the corrections and interactions with teachers. I have high expectations of professional dance teachers and can prove by watching that I am getting exactly what I want to pay for. Elise is the ballet director and being from Houston Ballet, she knows exactly what she's doing. Let's be honest, if your daughter is in dance, especially on a team, it is not cheap. However, it is much cheaper here than what I have paid in the past at the old studio. I don't feel like anyone is gouging prices. Everything is upfront and honest. They even let my daughter put snack food on her bill that I can pay at the end of the month (when I forget to send her with a snack or a drink, LOL!). I have never experienced such a positive atmosphere in the dance world as I do when I am at TADA. The dance world is full of negative competition and jealous girls that will push others out of the way to be in front. I have experienced this as a dancer, as a teacher, and from the other studio. I have NEVER felt that at TADA and neither has my daughter. We are going into our third competition of the season and the dancers and teachers all support each other and cheer each other on. The girls are genuinely excited for each other. They watch each other dance. They lift each other up. There is no jealousy because they know it is a team effort. I truely believe that attitude can only come from the top... Kristan and Tessie are amazing at getting the girls excited as a team. They are honest, loving and REAL!!!! I can tell they care about my daughter and every other dancer from their heart. If your looking for a dance studio, TADA is the best in the area. We love dance at TADA!!
