Our son has a food allergy, which was a big concern of ours when selecting his school. Primrose administrative staff promised to openly communicate with us from day 1 (Thank you Miss Woodson and Miss Montgomery), and consistently worked to ease our fears. The teachers always worked to make our son feel included in activities around food despite his allergy. Miss Singleton was integral in this, ensuring all staff were educated on what was okay and not okay for our son. In addition to these great experiences, what also sets this school apart is the teachers. We credit our child's speedy potty training to the school (Miss Clark), thank you! Our son loved all his teachers and genuinely looked forward to seeing them each day. He developed special bonds with each of his teachers, and we'd like to personally thank each of them for making him feel loved and safe each day. Even when I was holding her, Akila would often reach for Ms. Marcela, which speaks volumes about the love, trust, and comfort she felt in her care. In our home, we lovingly refer to Ms. Marcela as "Abuelita" because of the nurturing and grandmotherly presence she has been in Akila's life. Ms. Hind was equally wonderful, and together they made Room 2 feel like a second home. Their kindness, patience, and dedication have left a lasting impression on our family. Unfortunately, with Covid, we took a hiatus for a few months with all the uncertainty. We are happy to report that we are back and still loving it here. I feel safe having my son go to school here. They have been keeping up with the Covid standards and test all their employees monthly. Everyone who enters the building and goes beyond the lobby receives a temperature screening and the children are reminded to wash their hands constantly. I am very pleased and will continue to have my child go to school here as long as possible.

It follows a traditional school calendar. My daughter started here at 22 months and continued all the way to Pre-K. The impact this sweet little school has had on my daughter is beyond measure. She LOVED this school and it instilled in her a love for learning and her classmates, who she developed deep friendships with and still sees on play dates even after completing her years at the preschool. The classes are small and close, with teachers who love what they do and have been there for years. Her graduation from Living Word Lutheran Preschool was in May of 2024, and she is now in Kindergarten and excelling, thanks to the work of these amazing teachers. I'm going to list several of the things I love about this school: - Teachers have lots of experience, love what they do, and continue to be lifelong learners (professional development annually). I'm a (former) high school teacher and this was important to me as a teacher myself. And they were such a blessing in my daughter's life - my daughter loved them all so much from the toddler class to the 2's to the 3's to pre-K. She still asks me how they're doing. They have a wonderful, gated playground- definitely worth seeing on the tour. They get to ride tricycles out on the playground too in addition to all the climbing structures. They have an efficient car line before and after school, too, but my favorite thing to do was park in the farther church parking lot and walk my daughter up this walking path they have that goes to the entrance of the church. She loved running/hopping/skipping to school on that little walking path. The director, Ms. Bev, is amazing and she is to credit for the school's excellent communication. -Hours: As dual working parents, the hours 8:30-2:30 plus the ability to add before care and/or after care worked wonderfully for our family. WTH has been the ideal fit for us. All the teachers have at least a bachelors and many have a masters in teaching. Most have also been at WTH or teaching for many many years. When you step in WTH you can immediately tell that it's a real school environment-- they even have a library and lunch room. In a short period of time, my four year old is advancing really quickly. With in just a few weeks he's already holding a pencil correctly and writing his name (both things he didn't do at prior preschools). This was my two year old's first experience at preschool. I was a little nervous because he's never been cared for outside of our home. With in just a week he would detach with no problem and walk away with a "bye mommy." He's also becoming really independent through their encouragement. He'll bring his own things into school and put them away.
