Another great thing that we love is that the owner is on-site and accessible for any questions we may have! The teachers are definitely of a higher caliber than any others we have experienced in past facilities. Everyone is so caring and loving. In the short time that we have been enrolled, I have already noticed a great improvement in the vocabulary and communication skills of my daughter. We are so glad that we made the decision to move our child to The Goddard School!

He did not even have a packet to give me or anything. He printed out a couple pieces of paper and wrote on the back. He asked if my child was potty trained and was very adamant that he had to be potty trained in the class that he needed to be in. He did not give me a tour around the school or even offer. I did not get a good feeling and definitely would not be returning. I had already heard from another parent that attended the school but they did not like it and it did not compare to the previous location that they attended. ( They did not stay at the school. ) I still wanted to go look at it and give it a chance. If it really was the owner that I was speaking with he was definitely not trying to sell the place to me. I have looked at many schools in this was by far the most unfriendly experience I have had.

My son has been here over 3 years since it opened and he loves it! Miss Patty and Miss Ada along with Jenny the owner are always on site and we look forward to seeing their smiling faces every day! Aaron is now in the pre k class and he still gets to see Miss Tabitha his teacher in the wee early mornings (6:30am) before he gets to learn with Miss Laura. Miss Tabitha has been there three years and she gives Aaron a hug every morning. My son is a difficult child and has been a handful for those ladies but they keep smiling and staying positive. We will be having him tested for special needs soon and I appreciate they are supportive. Thanks to all the ladies at LBPS!!

My grandchildren, Lexi and Christian have attended London Bridge literally for years. I don't…read morenormally do reviews but in this case I will make the rare exception. The same way I describe Family, is how I describe the Owner and Staff at London Bridge. I cannot express how important a statement that is for me to make as I do not make it lightly. Entrusting your precious little ones to others is a huge responsibility and I must admit where they are concerned I am extremely picky. I am a 6'4" Christian Biker and I confess I literally cried yesterday when I had to say goodbye to London Bridge because my Daughter is moving this weekend too far away to make it practical to keep the kids there. I will never be able to thank the Owner and Staff enough for helping to form the children as they have. Only Family shows the sort of care I have witnessed at London Bridge and if you are new to the area and looking for a safe, secure and loving place for your kids, I 100% recommend this preschool. You will likely never see such a statement from me again as it really has to be special for me to do so. Proud enough to put my name on it! James Keeney

I only have experience with the infant room. I would steer clear of this facility. Julie was the…read moreonly good thing about this place. They had high turnover while my baby attended. I never knew who was going to be there. The sheet they log everything on was incorrect almost every day even after speaking with the teachers and staff multiple times. I asked to watch the cameras on a certain day because the way the sheet was written I was worried my baby got someone else's bottle. Well their camera was down at the time I needed to see. And they constantly try to dismiss any of my concerns saying oh it's a translation issue as the teachers don't speak/understand English very well... Or no that didn't happen it's fine. A teacher wore a ton of perfume and my baby came home with very red cheeks all the time. I asked about it and they said they're allowed to wear perfume and the director was rude when I asked about it. I would think the infant room would be no perfume/lotions because of their sensitive skin and they're being held a lot. (Side note the original director is the reason we chose this facility. New one is not the best.) My child was fed things I did not send without asking me and I only found out about it in passing. They tried to teach my baby to hold their bottle on their own and had them propped up and when I walk in all I hear is them sucking air. I made it clear this was not okay yet it happened multiple times since. A few times I went to pick up and my baby is in an exersaucer with a tablet in front of them while the afternoon teacher cleans...very much not okay. One time they were even doing makeup while he watched the tablet... seriously at 6 months old? I cannot even tell you how often my baby got sick at this facility. I know daycare babies get sick but I was called SO many times to leave work because he was sick again. Our pediatrician told us we need to find a new daycare as they probably don't clean properly. I have friends with babies in daycare and they've been sick but not even half as much as my baby was. They put my baby in a random onsie with nothing else on a few times because they said I didn't have anymore change of clothes.. I showed them the bag with his name on it with 5 changes of clothes in their bin. That room is freezing, not okay. I could go on and on. Overall my husband and I hated this daycare experience and worked it out to where I could stay home. Baby hasn't been sick since and is much happier overall.

By the Montessori method, children have a curriculum developed and guided by their natural…read moreinterests and what they choose to work with each day - BUT, I never had any updates or information about what my son was learning about or how he was progressing. There was NO calendar stating anything relating to curriculum or even themes that may be involved with. Teachers seem annoyed if you try to talk to them. Most of the time, there is nobody at front desk that you can speak with either. Most of the "Assistant Teachers" were very young, seemed inexperienced, and aloof. I had a teacher assistant tell me my son refused to help clean up - so she "took him into the baby room, so he could be a baby". I then went to the director to ask about this, and she denied they would ever reprimand a child in that way. I told her several times that an assistant teacher just told me this - and she just looked at me perplexed. No apology or explanation was ever offered and so this was his last day to attend Springwood. (The reason why I found this whole situation a bit weird - is that the assistants only speak to you if spoken to - and she wasn't going to tell me he was reprimanded until I asked how his afternoon was that day). My son was often dirty when I would come pick him up (VERY dirty face and hands). Literally - dirt smeared on his face. I know kids get dirty but - we all know that washing hands is important to help fight germs and colds. He often seemed very thirsty (and I won't go into the long story of the response I got from his teacher when I asked if she could ask him to drink a bit more fluids). I support the idea of discovery through independent play, but there also needs a balance of thoughtfulness and care - not just in the materials to work with in the classroom. I want to be clear that I like Montessori, and I think this school just has some issues that needs to be worked on. (My son was 3 years old while attending this school, and attended for about 5 months)

After breakfast before going into the classrooms they were shuttled to a bleacher style seating TV area. He was then ostracised for not being able to hold a writing instrument and trace letters "like all the other kids." UHM what?!?!? I have roughly 20 years of early childhood education teaching experience - that is more than normal for a child his age as well as each child focuses upon his or her skills one at a time a teacher can never choose this for them no matter how hard they try. Too many of the art projects were teacher led rather than child led. They allowed a TV in the classroom almost every day. This is not even remotely what anyone should ever consider quality child care...a teenager babysitting provides more than this so called "School."
