So it was only natural for us to consider sending our son here, but this was a much newer/nicer facility than our old KA, so we ended up opting to send him to a different, cheaper daycare. Unfortunately, this ended up being a classic "you get what you pay for" situation, and we ended up sending him to several different facilities over the next few years. Once he started first grade, we ended up sending him here for after school daycare and he really enjoyed it. It was a significant upgrade from the YMCA-led aftercare that took place in his school's gym. Significant is not strong enough a word: night and day would be a better way to describe it. Things were so structured and calm at KA, compared to the YMCA where it kind of seemed like a free-for-all. And then over the course of the summer between first and second grade, he came here full time and he absolutely loved it. There was not a single day that he complained about going to summer school. He actually complained about NOT being able to go when we were on vacation, which is something I would have never imagined happening in 1,000 years. On his last day, he was close to tears because he was going to miss everyone so much. He loved the teachers, the kids and all of the fun that they had here. There were 1-2 field trips during summer school and they were the highlight of his week. Again, our only wish is that we would have just sent him here from day 1 and not messed around with the other options. The teachers and administrators are all great - we'll miss them too!

When my financial situation changed, I got a nanny for a little while which abruptly ended. Due to not enough room at the time for my twins, I was forced to go to other daycares within the area. I NEVER enrolled my kids in the other daycares for unsatisfactory reasons. I emailed the owner at 3am with my concerns of what I was going through and at the earliest availability I truly needed help. Luckily, someone moved from the area and a spot became available!!! I learned that you get what you pay for and with this daycare you get a happy, healthy, satisfied child along with a peace of mind! This daycare is awesome and I recommend this daycare over any daycare!

They take kids on at a VERY early age. Why does that matter? Well, you can pay similar (or more) money for someone that is basically a half-step above keeping your kid alive. OR you can pay for this place and have your kid have enriching programs that give them an amazing head start on school. My son was reading and doing addition and subtraction when he was barely 4. WTH has been the ideal fit for us. All the teachers have at least a bachelors and many have a masters in teaching. Most have also been at WTH or teaching for many many years. When you step in WTH you can immediately tell that it's a real school environment-- they even have a library and lunch room. In a short period of time, my four year old is advancing really quickly. With in just a few weeks he's already holding a pencil correctly and writing his name (both things he didn't do at prior preschools). This was my two year old's first experience at preschool. I was a little nervous because he's never been cared for outside of our home. With in just a week he would detach with no problem and walk away with a "bye mommy." He's also becoming really independent through their encouragement. He'll bring his own things into school and put them away. It's also worth noting that the director is almost always present and is fully immersed in the activities at the school. I see her all the time from drop off to pick up. The campus is absolutely beautiful -- surrounded by pine trees, calm, and clean. It's a fully gated property with video cameras, so I always feel confident that my child is safe. Honestly, I wish I could stay there myself all day -- it's that peaceful! The teachers -- Ms. Nada, Ms. Dixie, and Mariah -- are truly amazing. They quickly became our friends. Every single day, they take the time to share how my son is doing. He came from another country, but now he's learning English so fast -- he can count, name colors, and even sings songs at home that he picked up at school.
