    A flight of 8

What an awesome brewery!!! We stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon (Veteran's Day specifically, and they were offering 20% off for all military) and had to try a flight. For $19.50 you can sample 8 beers (Or $10 for 4). There were so many to choose from! We did everything from the Witbier to a Stout and the hard lemonade and root beer they carry. There is truly something for everyone. They currently have a fair amount of outdoor seating, and it was super easy to social distance on a weekday with their setup. Definitely a great option right now.

Not a bad beer in the place.

What a find in the Hampton's area. Great beer that the brew master takes very seriously. This brewery tries to make beer that's authentic; true to the old ways of brewing. Thus the name and medieval themes for their beers. Small sitting area with the bar that's connected to the brewery, with 2 canopies on outside for a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy their great selection. Every beer I tasted was good to great. Their flagship beer Honey Lager does have a small hint of honey taste, but no honey is used in the process. The English IPA, which I was told is brewed using the same technique as the Olde World sailors for the original IPA. The Slumbering Dragon Scotch ale has a smoky scotch flavor that I've never had before. Unique & refreshing. There's a food truck serving different types of fare, but I wasn't able to sample. The beer was too good! I brought home their very popular Larry's Lemonade for my nephew & he said it was delicious. If you're a beer lover, this is a must-stop in Virginia.

I'm a stout, porter and DIPA kind of girl. But I just can't resist their larry's lemonade!!! Ordered a flight and then a pint of their hard lemonade! It's so refreshingly delicious!!! The black pearl was the food truck that was their when we were there! Their tacos were soOoO flavorful. They have a FB but are currently working on their IG account. They have both indoor and outdoor sitting areas. The outdoor are has heated lamps available for those chilly nights. Plenty of space to socially distance inside as well. They have local artisans items such as Jewel, glass ornaments etc. You can buy peanuts, honey and CBD sparkling water as well! Of course they have clothing and beanies/hats available as well. Plenty of parking so not need to car pool unless you want to help mother earth out

    Delicious brews and awesome company

Love this place! Great outdoor space with plenty of seating for bigger groups. Fun beers on tap, and a great selection of take home beer.

Fantastic place to relax and enjoy a local brew. The Hazy Dragon is a delicious beer and my friends and I enjoyed the casual feel away from the hustle and bustle.

Great brewery tucked away in a quiet area. Don't judge this place by first glance because it appears to be another small brewery but it has much more to offer. They have 15 selections on tap and they all vary.... EVERYONE can find something to try. The inside taste room was busy so I couldn't get a good picture. They had a giant tent outside with seating and several picnic tables in the area to enjoy the great food provided by the food trucks. I've been to 5 other breweries in the Virginia area and this one is at the top.

This is my #1 place to head on Friday nights! Great bands! Great employees! And of course some of the best beer anywhere. I'm a big Larry's Pink Lemonade fan!

Small place and the owner/brewer gives you their tour. Good time for beer geeks and always fun to see different breweries set-ups.

It's just a horrible experience as is. They need to go to Precarious and see how they do it. Their food is generally good to great. They have a $5 before 5 app and drink special menu that is a really good deal. Nice spot for adults to have some drinks. Just be patient as service is generally slow. Now onto my recent experience.... I suggested it to some friends who wanted to grab some beers on MLK day which was a Monday. There were 4 of us guys and 7 kids. It's a lot. I get it. They weren't overly busy. Maybe a quarter full. I tried to keep the kids away from other tables by giving them boundaries. They were not happy with us. They didn't like the kids being outside in their patio (freezing, no one out there) etc. The one server was getting destroyed. She had just like 6 tables, but a 16 top. I felt badly for her. Our drinks correspondingly took about 20-30 minutes each time we tried to order. She was nice when she could get to us. At one point a person who said they were a manager, I think she said her name was Hannah, came over and said the kids couldn't be going around (again, I had boundaries not by any other patrons etc. from what I could see they were honoring them, but who knows), anyway she asked if we could keep them by us, which is fine. I then asked her if I could put in a beer and app order as I had been waiting for our server with an empty beer for at least 20 minutes. Instead of taking the order and ringing it in, she said she'd send the server over and disappeared never to be seen again. 5 minutes Iater the server was able to get free from her big table and get our beer orders and food in. Several items were forgot, but at this point we were kind of over it. Just not really your typical relaxed brewery vibe. Felt like they wanted it to be more of a sit down restaurant. That big long story to say it's not a spot for kids. Overall food and drinks are solid. Beer is solidly middle of the pack for Peninsula. Management needs some work.

We were greeted immediately as we entered. You have to wait to be seated but there was no wait. Our server was so nice and friendly. She took our drinks order and answered all our questions. This place should be on all locals list to check out. The vibe is very chill. We have stopped by when it's been busy and they've had live music and also when it's been on the quiet side like today. Every time the service has been superb and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. I only wish they were a little closer to home since they are located in Hampton but don't let that stop you. It's not a bad ride.

For the most part, Sound Check Bingo has been our go-to where we and a few friends would participate. Beer, food and bingo.....a true win-win. Before coming out last night, I placed a reservation for a table given Fridays would turn out a crowd. Turns out it was the best call since a lot of them were occupied with a big crowd. We ended up with high chairs which wasn't a problem at all. As far as beer goes, I ordered a Light Speed lager which went well with my pizza selection. And Sound Check Bingo was pretty fun with the crowd being engaged. They even had one dude who rapped to Ice Ice Baby. Priceless!! None of us won any rounds, but being out like this was truly worth it. Just like many, many visits, this one did not disappoint. We'll definitely be back soon. Till next time :)

After a couple minutes, no one greeted us so I had to literally find someone to seat us. After I walked over to get someone's attention, a server found us a seat and wiped down the table for us. We were given some time to look over the menu and we decided to start with drinks and appetizers. We ordered the Dolce Vita Margarita, a Whiskey Sour and the Tuna Bites, ordered medium. The drinks were okay and the Tuna Bites were actually pretty good, but unfortunately, some were cooked well done while others were slightly medium rare. For our entrees, we chose the Crab Cake Dinner with Girl Sprouts & Mashed Potatoes and the Rasta Pasta. The Rasta Pasta came out first and had great flavor but it was lacking that jerk seasoning taste that you would get from traditional "Rasta Pasta". My sides were then brought out and the Girl Sprouts were great but the Mashed Potatoes definitely needed some salt. I was then served a Crab Cake Sandwich, which I didn't order, so I had to wait another 10 mins for my Crab Cakes, which came out a little burnt. Overall, I wish I can say I had a better experience. We also had to wait quite a while for our server to bring over some waters. She was very nice but just kept forgetting. This spot is very cute and has a nice vibe so it could've just been an off night but I'm not sure if I would return.

Whether it's with friends or just the two of us, we've never been disappointed. Let's see how this visit went. We were immediately seated once we walked inside. It wasn't completely packed for a Saturday afternoon but staff was really busy with customers. The vibe was one that made us comfortable for the most part. After a few minutes of looking over the menu, we were ready to order. My selection was the Tavern Monte Cristo which consisted of chargrilled chicken and ham as the protein with Gouda cheese and cider aioli fried in a tempura batter with tavern fries. The meal was served hot and ready and tasted great. And having the cranberry coulis as a dipping sauce really added some taste. My only gripe with the sandwich was the amount of protein. I'm not sure if I ate most of it when we dined in, but when I ate the rest for dinner, it was more breading than anything else. Still good but they could've included more. Nonetheless, I was full. Good stuff as always from Park Lane Tavern :)
