Back in the beginning of 2021 we finally decided to cross it off of our "to do list" and get a new asphalt driveway. Being that Lovett Driveway has been in business for years...they were our first choice. Plus, we prefer to support local and you can't get more local then Lovett Driveway. From the very start, John and his team have been a pleasure to work with. First, John came out and gave us a FREE estimate (Yes, I said FREE) and within 5 business days I had the estimate in my email inbox folder. The estimate included ALL of the necessary details even right down to the actual thickness of both the base and surface layers so we knew exactly what we were getting...there were absolutely NO surprises. When I did call with additional questions they were very supportive and patient. We didn't have to pay anything until the work was completed. The crew did a terrific job and were professional and kind. We are very pleased with the results of our driveway. We sincerely couldn't be happier plus we've gotten many compliments on how beautiful our driveway looks. I strongly encourage you to give Lovett Driveway a call for your asphalt needs!!! 5 STARS all the way! ***Also, if you have the time...watch Lovett Driveway remove your old driveway because it is the COOLEST thing to watch! I…read morewas promised that someone would show up and provide an estimate in an email the following week or so but that never happened and I called the company back a few more times with no avail. I felt like they didn't want my business but my neighbors used them so I tried a few more times and finally got Jessie Cunningham and his side kick to show up for an inspection and provide me a proper quote. Here is the email I got from Jessie after he send me a quote: "Hello Trevor, I was just thinking about you and wanted to touch base with you to see if you or your wife had any questions and to see where you are in the decision making process for the roof project. I am here for you to be your project partner and want to do anything I can to make the project work for you. Let me know, Thank you" Pretty nice follow up. I was taking some time to talk to the wife about his $20k quote and thinking about it and replied with this: "$20k is way more than I thought this project would cost. I'm going to have to check around to see what others in my community paid and do some comparisons before I pull the trigger." To my surprise Jessie rudely responded: "No problem, that price is technically only good for 7 days anyway do to price increases. I understand wanting to check around for a cheap roofing company and I know we are not cheap so I am not offended if you can't afford us. I just wanted to stay in communication so I didn't leave you feeling like you weren't taken care of. I know you were persistent about getting a quote right away so I'm glad I could make that happen for you atleast. You should have no problem finding a cheap company cause there are many of them out there but please let me know if you need any assistance in the future." My response: "There are many things in life that I won't go cheap on and buying a new roof on my home is not one. I don't intent on going with a "cheap" company. Honestly I was going to use your company but after your insulting email I'm definitely not. Just because I have a budget in mind doesn't mean I'm too poor to afford your prices. And who the hell would want a "cheap" roofing company on a house in this neighborhood anyway? So sorry to waste your precious time coming out for a quote. I made the mistake and thought you were a honest and reputable company but clearly after your insulting email I was wrong. Do yourself a favor and take some courses in customer service. You might learn something new. " Mr. Cunningham's apology: "It was not intended to be insulting so my apologies for your interpreting it that way. I also agree that we are not the right fit for you. I hope you have a blessed day and the best of luck with your project. "

So, the quality of work and lifetime guarantee are positives for White Pine. The reason for only a 3-Star review stems from what was promised in the sale. When presenting what the company was offering, the salesperson showed gutters with included leaf guards. She never indicated that these were a separate purchase, leading us to believe they were included in the purchase. After installation, we found out the leaf guards were not installed and were told they were not included in the contract. When questioned about the misrepresentation in the sales presentation, we were offered a 30% discount if we wanted the leaf guards installed - an additional cost of $1,300. Feeling that the misrepresentation by the salesperson - whether unintentional or not - should have been covered by the company and not merely discounted by them, we cannot in good conscience fully recommend White Pine Renovation.
