The service requested was a bid for a re-roofing on our residence last week. We signed with them today. The quote process was wonderful - Jack from the new Traverse City franchise came out and he brought his lead crewman, Jarred with him. By doing so, I was able to see how thorough Jarred was, the crew leader who would be on-site every day if we proceeded with their company. I remember thinking, wow I want this guy here when the work is being done! He has genuine knowledge, a quick mind, and I could see he is a great problem solver. We had 5 or 6 quotes, and this company was one of 2 that opened the attic access. And Jarred was the only contractor to find that we have a minor leak up there dripping onto the insulation from near the stink pipe. I poked my head up into the attic access to watch, and he documented the leak for me with his phone before climbing back down. I also communicated with Jeffery from the original office in Kalamazoo, and I gathered he was very passionate about his business and proud of their work and processes. They were both responsive and helpful. Both individuals were knowledgeable and offered fantastic information, advice and commentary with no pressure to even get a quote from them. Recently we had our roof replaced with a metal one by White Pine Restoration and were very happy with their communication, installation, and the quality of the product. Eric (the owner) was not pushy, which we appreciated. He inspected our roof, presented the product, and gave a price. We previously had Erie Home out for an estimate. They were VERY pushy and higher priced. White Pine was able to replace our roof in a timely fashion and a pleasure to work with. Eric kept us informed on deliveries, schedules, and returned all calls quickly. He came out to check on the progress of the project and did a final inspection. He wanted to make sure we were happy with everything. Jeremiah (project manager) came out after the materials were delivered to make sure everything ordered had arrived, looked over the project, and asked questions. I really can't believe how good these folks are. Starting with the knowledge they brought into our home and ending with our fabulous windows and front door. I expected a pushy salesmen and I got an incredibly knowledgeable human who worked hard to make me and my wife feel comfortable. I can't believe the amount they seemed to know about everything.
