Went here for sever back and hip pain. Saw the dr who quickly determined it was "only my back" and I just needed PT. I asked for an MRI to determine the true cause. He refused, arrogantly said PT and gave me some pain meds I had to finally to to the hospital a wk later bc I was in agony . ER Dr immediately said I needed an MRI The MRI showed I have 2 bulging discs and need to see a neurologist soon. I dealt with an exceptionally rude doctor here. I spent $95 to get roasted by a doctor who either hates his life or was having a really bad day. He didn't take any concerns seriously and made fun of me for the few minutes I was with him for being concerned about my three year old son's health. He literally told me not to worry about my child until he was unable to walk and was dragging himself across the floor. When I asked for any recommendations for vitamins or supplements he told me that maybe Flintstone's Vitamins were still around. This sounds impossible, I know, but it is exactly what happened. I was so stunned by his behavior I just walked out without my son - I wish I'd lodged a complaint on site right then. I've never experienced anything like it. Go anywhere else. I'll never be back and honestly should have found a way to get my money back. read more

I am a veterinarian who received a bite from a nervous little furry friend at my clinic. I was worried about infection so went in for a visit to urgent care near St Charles. My PA was caring , efficient and polite. She explained treatment options and called a specialist on the spot to consult. She even got me an appointment with them the same day. They were worried because I am leaving for a trip later in the evening and they didn't want me to have something come up while I am gone. I visited with a nurse that gave me an antibiotic injection who was also polite and caring. They were extra conscientious of my safety ensuring I had no drug allergies multiple times. The antibiotic injection even had lidocaine (a numbing agent) mixed in so I hardly felt a thing!! I was very happy with my experience. Thank you for taking good care of me so I can keep caring for my patients :) healthcare is a tough job and I felt very well taken care of. read more

My cough was't getting any better, was going over 10 days. I'm thinking i had strep throat. OTC medicine wasn't doing it and not being from here I had to seek help. I first went Bend Memorial Clinic in Sisters, OR, but they weren't able to take me. So they sent me to St. Charles. It was about 30 min. drive. This place was very welcoming. When you enter there are signs saying if you are sick to please wear a mask and sanitize your hands, And they provide the masks for you! The two ladies at the check-in window were very helpful. And also very excited to find out I was visiting from Hawaii. So we ended up talking a bit. That was comforting. I filled out my paper work and waited to be called in. Didn't have to wait long, maybe 20 minutes. The nurse took me to one of the exam rooms. Asked me standard questions and checked my vitals. Waited for the doctor. He asked questions and checked my throat, breathing, and etc. Found out I had fluid in my tubes. Prescribed me my medication and i was good to go! read more

I Really do not try to see a dr. Unless nessary. I try to eat good foods and use natural remedies. It was time for me to go get some health issues addressed. Having a few ailments sometimes my communication is not the best it can be and the people there were really friendly and helpful. The doctor I was understanding. I do know that everyday stress and having to work with different types of people can be challenging. The people that work in the medical field deserve a day a year in observation of your service work. Pat yourselves on the back from time to time and remember you are appreciated! read more

There are two positives that I should point out before I explain why I don't go here anymore: Positive #1. Their staff is really nice. Positive #2. I went there once and only waited like 30 minutes to get in (that's pretty good for an urgent care situation). Here's the bad part: on two separate occasions, their doctors have not caught what's really going on medically with either myself or a family member. I won't go into details, but I will tell you that in both cases, a second doctor caught the mistake of the St. Charles physician. I'm not sure about my sis, but it cost me more money overall to go here. Next time, I'll just head to the BMC Urgent Care in the Old Mill. I went there for a serious migraine once and was very impressed. read more

We had to visit this place on the DAY we moved to Bend. My wife broke her finger and required surgery the next day. Everyone was very friendly and sympathetic. The medical billing was confusing, as we kept getting statements but not bills, and they were always changing amounts. But I guess that is par for the course with medical stuff. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! They will lie and rip you off, telling you are covered by insurance and then they will bill you the full amount. If you then don't pay, they pay the sleeziest of collection agencies to take you to court. Totally unethical! read more

If you have insurance, it may be cheaper to just pay cash. They charge $89 for a visit and my insurance would have come back $150. Just FYI. That being said, I will not be going back here. I tried to get in to my own doctor but couldn't. I was at the tail end of my "48 hours" for flu medication to work. Went here. Got my diagnosis. Went to my pharmacy to pick up my prescription and was sent home because it wasn't there yet. I got home waited for a half hour. Called the pharmacy again, and the one across town to be sure there was no mistake. Nothing. I had to wait until the next morning because the urgent care had closed at 6 pm. I called urgent care the next morning and they said they would have to look into it and call me back. An hour later I was called and they said they called it in just then. When I asked why it had not been called it the day before, when I actually visited and was still within my 48 hour-best time for flu medicine- window, she said it was an "oversight." I realize it was just flu medicine, but you don't make "oversights" with medication. Sorry. I'll find another urgent care. read more

So-so. I fell off my mtn bike and when the pain didn't go away I went to urgent care. They only have nurse practitioners and the one assigned to me did not seem particularly knowledgeable and didn't spend much time with me. I got much more thorough diagnostics from the person volunteering in the medical tent at a local bike race. Urgent Care did x-ray the area and my ribs, which was good. They charge significantly more if you have insurance, so I only recommend you go here if you don't have insurance. Probably a good resource for the uninsured. read more

The nurse practitioner that saw me was fine, but when they advertise on the website $89 visit what they really mean is $289 visit. The grouchy and rude people at the front desk told me I was all set and that they would bill me (streph throat culture plus basic $89 visit rate) and when I got the bill it was almost three hundred dollars. For five minutes with a nurse practitioner and a streph culture. Liars and swindlers. Just be aware, you are better off in the emergency room... the service would've been faster and it would have cost me the same, I might even have seen a real doctor. The billing people are happy to tell you about the discount for paying upfront afterwards when you can't do anything. When you are sick and actually in the office they just tell you you are all set and should leave. read more

Great experience! I went to Immediate Care at about 10:30a on a Friday for a suspected UTI. There was literally no wait! I was seen promptly, diagnosed and was on my way to pick up the prescription within 30 minutes. They had sent the prescription electronically to the pharmacy before I left so that part of the process went smoothly, as well. The staff were pleasant and competent; all I could ask for. read more

Two stars, a generous yet realistic number for the two sided experience I've had. Went in for a knuckle/skin infection (the multitude of different people that I experienced never told me their verdict) and at first the reflection seemed smooth with a twinge of weirdness as the undercurrent of feelings. Friendly in a cultish way is one way of describing the initial experience but not quite as well worded as I would like. Then the rabbit hole became weirder and stranger. First off every single person that came in was a different person, I would say I saw between 10-15 different persons who neither gave qualification nor seemed to want to be anyone other than vague. I could give multiple example but in leu of time I shall only give a few. When I was taken into a room to get my hand x rayed, I was left in the room without any explanation of what to do so I started entertaining myself by observing all of the interesting equipment. at least five minutes pass and finally one of the two ladies discussing the fact that this was my first time and seemingly wondering how to go about running a simple hand X-ray of which they only needed three or four takes, decides to speak up and apologize for the wait. And the waiting which seemed to be a consistent theme that I did not mind, but keep in mind that there was only the slightest communication as to what they were doing and why. Seemed that one could take that in multiple ways, one of which could be "why would you assume that I could not handle the information that you so obviously are not willing to give" or another perspective could be that they are trying to get things dome and talking "takes time away from the process." But when in the blessed and cursed history of western or any other direction of medicine was it necessary to see "15" doctors to get to the obvious conclusion that I could use some strong antibiotics to aid my immune systems response to whatever happened to infect? I already knew that before I stepped foot in the "step ford wife feel" of St. Charles. Who is this St. Charles? Surely he would think their procedure were less than efficient. To top this honest review off with a bit of humor (as if the entire experience was anything less), the nice lady that came in to mark the area of infection so that I may measure the progress or digress of the antibiotics affect over the next day. While she was quietly working, I noticed a beautiful tattoo with a language I could not read. I politely asked what her tattoo said. She proceeds in my opinion with a slight hesitancy that "It's French...," fine she's up and leaves the room without a single response to my simple request. Anyhow, the experience was not terrible. It was just incredibly strange the way everything was "managed" if one cared to utilize any amount of objective observational awareness. But what do I know, I am only a high school graduate. I have been in this urgent care 4 times and I will not be going back. They do not actually treat anything! Their doctors are doctors who just want a paycheck. No matter what you go in for they seem to do nothing. Ah you have shingles no treatment ended up at Ophthalmologist because it effected my eyes and that doctor asked why didn't the doctor at Urgent Care treat you? Good question?? The first time I went in was for a bladder infection after being seen by doctor he had me go to ER that doctor didn't listen to a word I said then back to Urgent Care so all that for a bladder infection. I had just moved here and wasn't set up with a primary care yet. The latest is the last straw. They treated me like I was there for pain medications. I had symptoms of nausea, vomiting, burping up sulfur, bloating and stomach pain they gave me Zofran ok that helps with nausea and vomiting but my stomach hurts so bad I can't work?? Trust me these doctors shouldn't be practicing. I am getting sick and tired of everything is all about opioids seeking people some of us are actually ill can you treat that? I dont know if it was a practitioner or assistant who saw my son but he did not have a clue as to what was wrong. Instead of being honest he gave a completely incorrect diagnosis and sent us on our way. I would not recommend unless its for a broken bone or stiches. They can't get that wrong.
