Less than zero ... High Lakes Health…read more I have had a wonderful provider at High Lakes at the Shevlin building. He is my prescriber as I am a breast cancer survivor and have secondary conditions related to that. Lucky to be alive, trying to live my best life. That said, my doc went on vacation and without any warning, and upon refilling a particularly expensive medication that was not hastily prescribed, a substitute physician has denied it. My doc won't be back for a month. He's from Bend, young, very smart and has a family. My family and I have been very happy with his care. So disappointed to see High Lakes put a person whose in charge who would flat out deny a needful, long time medication. Btw NOT an opiate. My gastroenterologist who originally prescribed this medication has also left his practice and is set to join St Charles ... later in August. My referral was given a month ago, to smooth this transition because my stomach doc is the best in Bend. SCMC receptionist tried to find it, but said they are BURIED w a huge backlog of patients. Former and new patients. Not surprised, as he is an expert and he actually cares whether a patient can leave home w a condition like mine. So grateful he is staying in town. There seems to be an exodus of docs leaving the area. This is not continuity of care. It shouldn't take a behavioral health appointment to get my medicine or try and understand this idiocy.

They're a hot mess. They barely have any patients but an overcomplicated phone and corporate system…read morethat every time you try to get through to them it can ring up to 20mins plus with no answer. The Drs are out of touch and are siting there not understanding why you did not or dont schedule appointments many times referencing their wide-open schedule, or why you're late when you're literally sitting outside their door trying to get in. Just see how they created two listings on Yelp to disperse the bad reviews

this man claims he is a specialist of allergies and testosterone, the latter I believe he has…read moreplenty of his own medicine, he was rude insensitive and had no knowledge of standard procedures nor anaphylactic responses to food or environmental sensitivities and mast cell activation nor had he ever even heard Hereditary Alpha Tryptasemia (HAT) I should have thrown out Systemic Mastocytosis but no wonder he looked annoyed when i was referrering to The Dkit mutation test I just had ,in all fairness most people and Drs haven't, not even I, until my Immunologist tested me for it and referred me to oncology ..so without even a basic understanding of a very real disease or without bothering to research it first he wrote in my chart that I was a hypochondriac ,yet he ordered my gastro surgery?? He had the audacity to tell me to stop talking as" he didn't have alot of time here" WOW?!?!?!and repeated What do you want me to do about it?" Mind you I am facing Oncology consultation Iam bedridden and rely on epi pens after a bite of food i once l;oved two months ago ,i can no longer feel my mouth or nose and worried about the time I have left on this planet period , and due to the delays of him and his subpar clinical staff in whom I and many others have questioned the validity of the clinic overall .No bedside manner although it was a quick buck with telehealth, nor sensitivity training or medical expertise it seems when it comes to functional medicine at least or allergies laboratory biomarkers in their importance of the management and root cause of chronic illness they just stack as many telehealth appts for payment rendered and care not for the healing of their victims or who they hurt with their careless comments and stigmatized misdiagnosis, I feel completely violated and my HIPPA and patients rights were trampled in his aggravated and testosterone filled field. I will be filing complaint with Oregon Medical Board& health and human services as I have the records and medical diagnostic codes from a board certified immunologist to back up my behavior, my disease and my request so what's his excuse, These Charlatans are overrunning what used to be a respected field called naturopathy, matter of fact please google it, anyone can become a functional medicine coach there's a course on Facebook right now for $97 from Accreditor Academy, claiming nurses can charge patients hundreds of dollars and most patients have no idea, they mistake him for a Dr when in fact hes just a angry quack...dysfunctional practitioner sums it up pretty well, keep your money and find someone with real knowledge and a caring heart

Extremely dismissive. Seems board and irritated by patients. Does not take his patients seriously…read moreand could not seem to care less about his patients issues. All around terrible. I have no idea why someone with this attitude would go into this field. Zero empathy or patience. I'm shocked.

It was my first time getting lip injections and I am SO glad I found Dr. Carey! I almost don't want…read moreto write this review because this is my little hidden gem and I want it all to myself lol!! Dr. Carey: She is a genuinely kind, patient, and professional human being. I believe she is a doctor who worked at the hospital and transitioned to open her own med spa. I love that she has extensive clinical experience OUTSIDE of the beauty world. It made me feel safe and like I was going to receive quality care no matter what. The procedure: She really took her time to understand my desired look. I was also open to her opinions and she helped me to create the perfect NATURAL pout. Pain wise (for me) I'd say it was 3/10. The numbing ointment really helped. Post-care: She sent me home with a post-injection serum. I actually think it really helped to get the bruising/swelling down quickly. You can see in my photos that by day 6 I was pretty well healed! Scheduling: While most spa's in Bend were booked 4 weeks out, Dr. Carey was able to fit me in the next week. She spent about 20 minutes on the phone to make sure she answered all of my questions. I felt safe and excited for my big day! The facility: It's the perfect combo of home-y & clinical. It is bright, clean, and is located inside of a cute little cottage in a great part of town. Parking was a breeze. Miscellaneous: Dr. Carey helped me pick out a few sunscreens & a retinol product. She has a great variety of brands and formulas. If you are getting any aesthetic work done, I would absolutely recommend Bend Aesthetics & Wellness. Can't wait for my next visit!

Jamie Hopewell, FNP was very professional and ensured I was satisfied with my results. She offered me options for treatments and explained them thoroughly. Follow-up care was outstanding. I would highly recommend her services.

Please take this review into much consideration when choosing if you should visit here or continue…read moreto come here for any medical reason. This is a sincere warning from the bottom of my heart. This place and the employees here, including Dr.Mann, almost killed my mother. She is lucky to be alive and in much extra pain because of the negligence that occurred here. Unfortunately, it gets worse. To make a long story short, my mom was misdiagnosed, told to take a supplement that in turn made the real matter much much worse and then to top it off when she came back for the follow up and things ended up being worse and she asked about the validity of the diagnosis and for follow up testing she was treated in a rude manner and with complete disrespect. My mom is the greatest and most kind person I know and she does not deserve this. This is not like messing up a food order or some other small mistake. This is life and death. Do not come here. The rude treatment after the fact blows my mind and really pushed me to write this review. I just don't want anyone else to go through the extra pain - which will last a long time in my mom's situation. To think it could not be as bad as it is really gets me and trust me no family should go through this and then be treated in such a manner.... Don't come here and consider going somewhere new if you already are coming here and at least if you really feel like something is going on inside you get a 2nd opinion, it could save your life.
