He had IBS symptoms and deep vein pain in his legs when walking for any distance. His seasonal and pet allergies were out of control. At 36 years of age, he faced the choice of being put on a multitude of drugs from his primary care physician, or, as he described it, taking his body into his own hands and getting down to the business of truly becoming healthy. After one visit with Dr. Dishman his life was changed. She prescribed an anti-inflammatory diet and ordered blood tests. His blood work revealed sensitivities to a multitude of foods.
