What more could you want than Mexican brunch and outdoor seating? They're always quick to greet us when we get there and let us choose where we want to sit. I love that! Inside is really nice, although we've never chosen to sit there because we're usually down in this area during the summer. I had the Huevos Rancheros. I love the way they serve theirs with the fresh avocado, and the black beans on the side with the cojita cheese. Everything is always cooked perfectly and not overly seasoned. Staff is always very attentive. One of my go tos the Narragansett area. I would definitely recommend trying this if you like authentic Mexican food!

The bathrooms were very clean, but the tile is a little bit slippery. I was using a cane and was having trouble getting a grip on the floor. We had really good service, our waitress was attentive and either the manager or owner came around to check on how we were doing. So I really appreciated that. The food itself was not my favorite, which is why this is a three star review. The Birria was OK, but it definitely needed more flavor which could have been helped by more cheese, onions and cilantro. I also think they need another type of hot sauce because I was looking for something a little bit of a kick to add to my Birria and they only had a very very mild sauce. The rice was fine and I ordered some refined beans for additional protein, which were OK. Definitely not my favorite but the texture was good. The flavor wasn't my favorite but I can't actually describe what I didn't like about it. So that's not very helpful, sorry all. The margarita was the biggest disappointment and I should have brought it to the staff's attention because they did ask how everything was tasting and I just didn't realize it first how much I hated it. So that is totally on me. It was passionfruit, but I think they must use some type of nectar like a Goya brand which really doesn't have a ton of passionfruit flavor. Maybe I'm used to more artificial passionfruit juice but usually a passionfruit margarita has more of a yellow orange color and has a lot more flavor but this margarita margarita was on the bitter side, and whatever tequila was used really hurt my stomach. I didn't drink most of it because I just couldn't finish it. I would probably come back to give it another try because the service and ambience were good and I didn't outright hate the food, but I think I'd order something completely different.

What I mean by that is this place could be pricey but if you search and connect specials you can have a great time and not break the bank! We ordered the stuffies, that were fantastic--and the shrimp cocktail that were huge (6) and delicious! $25 I ordered the lobster tamale...a corn sheath stuffed with corn meal and LOBSTER swimming in a delicious broth! Fabulous. ($20) My wife ordered the sword fish that was off the hook!! A beautiful bottle of Chilean Merlot $30... it was divine. Look at the view!! Nick, our waiter was excellent. Okay - that's fine. We said we'd put them in the car. As we arrive they proceed to say we canceled your reservation and now it's a 2 hour wait. We've dined at coast guard a plentiful of times and this was the first time we experienced this type of animosity from the general manager. (With our dogs as well). I understand it's peak summer, but to accuse me of stool and expect me to pick it up (amongst the many dogs already there) and then punish me off or a baseless accusation was the last thing I expected.

They have an excellent selection of cocktails, mocktails, beers and even very reasonably priced local wines. The local sauvingnon blanc, Tiki drink and mango cocktail were all refreshing and delicious. The food is Polynesian inspired and some of the best food I've had in Narragansett. The miso peach salad (special) and smashburger were very good and the Thai peanut noodles and lobster pot pie are outstanding. The hosts and servers were all very warm and welcoming to us and our two pups (dogs are allowed on the porch). Can't wait to visit again!

Stepping foot in this property is sure to take your breath away. The service is just as wonderful. Johnny and Theresa took care of us. Johnny picked cocktails and menu items that met our dietary needs which was so greatly appreciated. Theresa took care of all of our needs during our dining experience. She cleaned up an accident spill, replaced our drink (even though I was the idiot who spoiled said drink), got us new napkins, and brought anything we asked for. She was personable and we really loved having her as a server! The drinks were next level from presentation to taste. The matcha cocktail in the teddy bear cup was perfection! The food was tasty and flavorful! If you love seafood, charcuterie, fondue or cheese on cheese on cheese, then this is the place! I'd also like to go back to try their dumplings and more of their dessert cocktails. The Surf Shack has a lot to offer, so you best check it out!
