They shrunk a dress I wore once. The owner told me sometimes they follow the washing directions instead of actually dry cleaning them.... to which I responded that I pay for dry cleaning, not machine washing. I allowed them to try and stretch the dress out (twice), giving them the benefit of the doubt. When I had to bring a jacket in today, which they also shrunk... their attitudes changed. She told me that I must have taken these things elsewhere to get cleaned (because she can tell) and am now just trying to get money out of them. She told me she absolutely would NOT be covering the price or even a portion of the price of these items because she is not the one who shrunk them.. that I was lying. That they have never once had a complaint in 25 years. Bottom line... they have changed something in their cleaning process, I've never had a problem until recently, but I refuse to have good clothes ruined by unprofessional people trying to save a buck. If you like your clothes.... find a new dry cleaner fast!
