It's not cheap but they do a good job with cleaning leather. Staff are friendly and professional. They will tell you if they can do it. My jacket was ready when they said it would be. I might consider coming back here since they did a pretty good job on my winter jackets and delicate sweaters. Everything was neatly pressed and although they were unable to remove a small but rather annoying stain on one of my jackets (the stain has been there awhile so I don't think it could have been helped), they were kind and professional enough to leave a note on the item indicating so, explaining it may have damaged the color or material if they tried to. Prices are competitive and you can probably find frequent deals on Groupon as other Yelpers here have indicated. That's how I found it. That being said, I have heard that businesses who go through discount deal sites like Groupon tend to get overwhelmed with the influx of customer demand, and then customer service can sometimes suffer a bit. I think that was the case here when I dropped off my dry-cleaning, because the girl who took my items did not smile at all, not even a tired or forced smile. She looked like she wanted to be anywhere but there, and I could have sworn she even rolled her eyes upward when I stammered after she asked for my address. I just thought she was checking if I was in the system, and I wanted to explain I wasn't because I was a new customer and so I hesitated. But she didn't have to roll her eyes at me! Either way, she did hear me when I asked her to make a special note of the stain, so at least she was listening. The man who helped me when I came for pick-up was much friendlier, thank goodness. If he was just as crabby I think I would have run far from this place! Excellent service. My pink Canada Goose Trillium jacket was left with PERC staining all over it from another cleaner in Edmonton and The Cleanery was able to remove the stains and make it beautiful again. They were so pleasant on the phone and in person. Very professional and kind. I had to hug them for fixing my jacket!!!! I will never go anywhere else again. They close too early for me to pick up my clothes after work. Besides that, they do a good job and have groupon-type deals often.

In July I used grupon (and paid the difference) to dry clean my two wool coats. I wanted them to be clean and ready for winter. When it was time to wear them in the beginning of November, I was schocked when I discovered my coats were not cleaned at all!!!! They just put them on the hangers and covered with bags! I've tried to contact the owner, left a message for him, but was totally ignored! What a way to do business!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM IF YOU DON'T WANT TO LOOSE MONEY AND FEEL CHEATED!! I used a groupon, and got service without a smile. I took in the upholstery cover for a lounge chair with a cushion. I felt it was in better condition when it went in than when it came out. The shrinkage, loss of nappe and stiffness of the product that came out gave me the impression they threw it in the wash instead of dry-cleaning it. And it stunk like laundry you forgot to take out of the washing machine. Not very impressed. I now have an expensive and loved peice of furniture that looks like ****!. read more

AMAZING service from a really wonderful fellow (Howard Sinclair)! I recently took a leather jacket into the cleanery for Howard to look at. The jacket had accidentally been exposed to water inside of a black plastic bag which stunk like mould & mildew and was basically ruined. I was certain that no one could restore this precious keepsake for me. Howard was the only person I could even find who would look at it. When I brought it in he said that there was a 75 - 80% chance that he could restore it. He also said that if he couldn't fix it that he wouldn't charge me (which I found to be extremely kind). He understood how important this jacket was to me and restored it from mouldy, hard, stinky & crunchy into the jacket I had remembered. Unfortunately the stitching is no longer pink but Howard was right, my best friend said it looks cooler now than it did before it was damaged.
