My girlfriend won a "Lambo For A Day" at Cars 'N Copters on the Coast, so we decided to take a day off and drive a Lamborghini Huracan. We reserved the one in Rosso Mars with Jacob, the Rental Fleet Manager. He set everything up for us and sent me texts and photos of the the car on the day before the drive. When we arrived, the Huracan was ready to go and he went over the vehicle with us. We had a blast driving this mid-engine Italian supercar on Coast Highway, Ortega Highway and a number of freeways in Orange County. Jacob also gave us two hoodies in my size, so that was a nice surprise gift!

Have taken my car in to get worked on twice. Both times Mark and Josh took amazing care of me and made it easy to schedule appointment quickly and get things taken care of. Best Auto Shop Experience Ever. Came to SSR Performance for a clutch job and honestly, I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was chill, professional, and welcoming. Everyone on the team was super friendly and down-to-earth, but also crazy knowledgeable. If you're even remotely into cars, you'll appreciate the level of expertise here. The waiting lounge? Let me just say -- it puts five-star Vegas hotel lounges to shame. Comfy, clean, and just an overall dope spot to hang out while your car gets the attention it deserves. What really stood out to me was how easy they made the whole process. If you're not the type to talk on the phone (like me), you can handle everything over text -- from quotes to updates -- which made things super convenient. I had asked to get my car back by Tuesday, and these guys went above and beyond. They stayed late and had it ready for me by Monday evening. I hit up Shah and he got me in touch with Rod! Glad Rod knew about the upkeep and preventative maintenance for the E9x M3. I ended up going in for Rod Bearings, then Rod mentioned the valve covers were going bad as well as the oil filter housing, since the engine was taken apart to access the Rod Bearings, the team got to working. I mentioned to Rod the gears were not engaging as well so he recommended trans flush.... And sure enough that was it! Overall: the team took care of my car, big shout out to Rod and Lordcito. Seeing this shops social media presence and the people they sponsor had deceived me in the beginning. I have put off writing a review for a long time but I feel like it's time. One of the main issues I encountered was after SSR installed my rain light diffuser. Shortly after install, I had a friend call me after they saw me on the road with a tail light out. Due to their shotty wiring job, my rain light and right tail light were out until I could get rescheduled. Second, after having my stock exhaust re installed after I got a ticket, they left the remus exhaust hangers on with the stock exhaust which made it rattle like crazy after a couple days. I waited in the waiting room for approx 3-4 hours until they brought the car out with exhaust fixed... 3-4 hours for a small job that should have been made a priority. Now to last month. I was out at the track and mid session I hear a BOOM. Was stuck in limp mode, couldn't figure out what was going on since I had SSR upgraded chargepipes, so it couldn't have been those I thought. I found out, the SSR UPGRADED charge pipes had blown off on the bottom side. Ruined my very expensive track day weekend and I was stuck in limp mode not knowing what was wrong until I had another shop diagnose what happened. SSR recommended me their charge pipes because of how often the stock ones pop, yet theirs did the exact same thing!! I have said and always said, you can tell they take better care of cars that are owned by friends of the shop and super cars, not as much M cars and others in the same realm. read more

I have a bmw 440i and I was rear ended by a drunk driver, trusted no other shop but SSR performance. The whole team did an awesome job even when my insurance was being a pain in the ass. They were patient, professional, and very communicative about the entire process. I got updates daily. When the car was finished and I came to pick it up it looked amazing, perfect color match, like it wasn't even hit. There was a minor issue though, but the SSR team was quick and very attentive and fixed the problem right away. Which I was so happy with! Awesome service! Had a return trip for some service. Needed a delayed start fixed and they diagnosed a new HPFP. They got it sorted and noticed a strange Idle was still there I had mentioned. Went the extra mile the next day with a ton of cars in the queue. Smoke test confirmed no boost leak so they did a reset of adaptations and got it back to normal. Returning soon for mods. Great team at SSR! read more

SSR Performance is by far the BEST auto repair and performance shop I've been too. They went above and beyond to make sure the entire experience was smooth and seamless as possible. My car was damaged in a accident with left side completely bent in and damaged. When I got it back it was brand new! They made the repair process from drop off to pickup so easy and seamless compared to others that will take your car in then make excuses about repair process. All the people there are super passionate about what they do! Super professional and friendly! I wanted to specifically thank Shah the owner for making it such a pleasant experience. I will be a lifelong customer! I wanted to do something really amazing for my husband's wedding present. I decided to get him some modifications for his 2019 BMW M3. I ended up looking up reviews and found SSR Performance. From the first phone call Shah immediately came off as being super helpful and was willing to inform me of the options that I had when it came to mods and tunes for his M3 (which was a huge positive for me since I'm not much of a car person). I told Shah about my husband's likes and dislikes and within 30 minutes he sent me over a quote that showed all pricing clearly listed for all parts and labor that we discussed on the phone. It was really refreshing to be able to shop for car parts for my husband and also know that I was not being taken advantage of due to my lack of car knowledge. I dropped my husband's car off just 2 days later. Shah told me that the stage 2 tune, exhaust, and intake would all be done within 3 days. He called me the next day and let me know that the car was done. AHEAD of schedule!! I feel like this is unheard of from most auto shops. I was able to pickup the car a day early and surprise my husband even sooner than I had planned and he absolutely LOVED everything that we did to the car. The M3 feels so much quicker and sounds SO much better. The experience as a whole could not have gone any smoother. If you're looking for a one stop shop for all things automotive LOOK NO FURTHER i've been bringing my cars to SSR Performance since it was born and they continue to exceed my expectations. Not only is their quality top tier, but so is their customer service. The SSR team is very knowledgeable, attentive, and responsive. I recently got my AC compressor replaced at SSR Performance as well as other maintenance items that required attention for my Audi A4 2013. They did a good job sourcing and installing OEM parts without breaking the bank compared to what the dealership was going to charge. Excellent customer service and quick response time. Their mechanics are top-notch and very knowledgeable. They really take care of you from A-Z and they make sure everything works correctly and that your car is safe to drive before handing it over. Drove all the up up from the Bay Area to have SSR Performance upgrade my crank hub, install their Stainless Steel Down Pipes and of course bm3 stage 2 tune. My car is running like a BEAST and don't have to worry about the crank hub/engine failing as I add more HP. Just scheduled SSR to do a full E85 tune and to do some Dyno Runs! To all @SSRPERFORMANCE. I want to thank you ALL, for your professionalism, knowledge, hospitality, patients, laughter, learning experience, .... It has been an enjoyable journey working with you all. I want to thank Zayn, for responding to the email I blasted-out to not only SSR, but many of his competitors months ago, asking the most RIDICULOUS QUESTIONS! If Zayn didn't take the time to respond to me, none of this would have happened! I knew what I wanted to do to my car, but I wanted someone to explain the process to me. Zayn took the time to not only respond to my email, but called me to see if I needed further explanation. From that first communication with Zayn, and then subsequently meeting with Shah. I knew there was only one company I wanted working on my vision, that was "SSR Performance"! Our journey is far from over! We still have lots of work to do! But my wallet needs some time to rest... LOL I want to say thank you Rod! Rod eventually became my point-person on this project. I added on some parts, and other things that weren't initially planned, and Rod made sure they were taken care of. Rod answered any questions that may have came up. Thank you Rod! Last, but certainly not least! I want to thank the most important people in this build! All the technicians who physically grinded on my car. Taking your car to a shop is not just about the work being done. It's about the customer service, response time, treatment, atmosphere, etc. The list goes on but SSR has mastered all of these aspects of running a successful shop. I recently had gaskets, drive belts, pulleys and coolant hoses replaced, the mechanic took his time to clean everything and really just went the extra mile to ensure my car was clean AND of course working properly. He showed me before/after pictures and explained the process. Without me even asking for a diagnostic, they went through all of the fault codes as well as did a visual inspection. A few things were pointed out that I should keep my eye on, such as thin brake pads. I felt super informed when I picked up my car! If you're obsessed with details like me or you just rather hand over the keys and allow them to do their thing, go to SSR! read more

There's so much I could say about ssr performance and the people that work there so I'll sum it up in three words I would describe them and the work they did on my baby and why Time efficient - ssr told me a date that my car would be ready and to my surprise it was finished days before expected so the only trouble I had was finding a ride sooner to pick up my car ahead of schedule haha Honest/trustworthy - everyone I spoke to about the work that would be done to my m3 was laid out for me and easily understood and what to expect and they were not wrong Quality - the quality of work and attention to detail they put into the custom mods on my car were top notch they even told me after the work was done that they found a bolt on my engine that was lose when they were doing my crank hub and stage 2 that could have been a real big issue for my engine Overall they are a very cool group of people and I would recommend them to anyone read more

Took my E93 in to SSR for VF Supercharger install. Had the rod bearings replaced, new oil pan, new valve covers, new custom steering wheel, and replaced the existing seats with Sparco racing seats! The vehicle looks amazing! Performance is off the chart! All the individuals involved, Mark, Rod, Nick, Joshua, and Israel made the process smooth and efficient! This was my first time doing anything through SSR and it was a great experience! I wanted to swap the black interior in my 2016 Lexus IS 200t with the rioja red interior from an older Lexus. Shah was super helpful in allowing me to ship the "new" interior to his shop. He then got the job done quickly and my interior looks amazing now. If you're gonna do any major modification to your car, take it here. You won't be disappointed! The responsiveness from Shah is also something that I absolutely love. I've learned recently that not every business will even respond at all! Considering he's one of the owners of the business, it adds that much more value to the experience to know you're getting attention from one of the owners. I've been taking my cars to SSR Performance for a few years now beginning with my 2011 BMW 335i, and now my 2018 BMW 340i. The team over at SSR has treated me as an equal since the first time I stepped into their shop in Orange. They have helped me with everything from simple fluid changes on both my cars, wheel repair, powder coats, diagnostics, spark plugs, to aftermarket parts and installation. Recently I moved away from Orange to over an hour from the shop but still choose to make the trip down there for all my automotive needs, knowing they will give me the best quality work and quickest turnaround over any comparable shop in Southern California. From start to finish, Richard and the team at SSR were professional, attentive, welcoming. I was looking for a trustworthy shop to fix my model y since the previous shop was not able to fix my tire/rim issue. Richard and the team were able to assess and repair my car flawlessly with a quick turnaround time! Richard sent me updates throughout the process which made me feel more comfortable and that it was in good hands. The cherry on top was that they detailed my car before pickup! He was able to take my car in the same day. When I arrived he asked if I knew how dark I wanted them (which I didn't). My car has factory tint in the rear and I wanted it to match or closely match with the front. Alonso explained the difference in the colors and showed me how dark it would look on my car. Additionally he took his time to explain the difference in films. I felt the price was reasonable and to be honest probably the best quote I had gotten. Alonso suggested tinting my windshield also for the heat rejection but I was not sure because I have never done that before so I decided on not doing it. I would say that's my only regret now because I definitely feel the difference when the sun is in front of me. I did plenty of research prior because in the past I had not had the best experience with other businesses so when I got my car I knew I wanted to be sure the business would do a great job. When doing my research evolution was the only one that had nothing but great reviews so I trusted my gut and sure enough they did a fantastic job. However, I followed up a couple weeks later asking if a certain date worked. I even explained that I had been busy and said the only time I'd have to bring in the car would be the following week. I paid $450 for this wrap and an extra $100 for the wrap itself. When the first job was done poorly, I went back to the shop to address the issues and they said they would fix it. I texted on a Tuesday expecting a response, and I waited until Sunday to follow up again. Instead of Lisa taking accountability, she told me I "did not reach out," which is extremely unprofessional and untrue. I had apologized for being busy, and I did reach out; she just did not respond. When I reminded her the job was poorly done and how there had been no response, she took zero accountability and tried to use my words against me. Lisa ignored my response when I explained how the situation should have been handled and how she failed to reply in a professional manner. As the customer, I should not have to teach someone how to treat me correctly or how to run a shop professionally. I wasn't trying to start problems; I stated the truth about the situation, but she did not like that. I went back because I had already paid and just wanted the work corrected. I dropped my car off again on Monday around 11:30am. The shop texted me claiming the wrap "wouldn't adhere," which I knew was an excuse. I told them to proceed because the material was fine, and if they couldn't install it, that was their shop's error. The rest of my car's wrap was perfectly fine. To double-check, I contacted the previous shop, who confirmed this shop was making excuses, saying, "The wrap sticks just fine. It sticks on the rest of your car fine. They're talking nonsense." I knew they no longer wanted to service me, and I no longer wanted their service either. I paid a good amount of money for this treatment. I made sure the job would get done. The shop told me the job would be done by Wednesday late afternoon. This was the second time they confirmed a deadline and failed to meet it. I made it clear from the start that I have a busy schedule and cannot afford delays, yet they did not respect that. Removing and rewrapping a front bumper is a 1-2 day job, it is not like I was asking to wrap half the car. I set a boundary that if it was not ready by 5pm Wednesday, as they confirmed, I would request a refund. My whole car was wrapped, had parts added, brakes caliper color change, and badges blacked out in about a week. I took it to another shop before taking it here. (Dependable Guys in Santa Ana) I am not a professional, but I am not stupid. There were no photo updates either, I had to ask for them. When they finally sent a picture, the wrap looked freshly slapped on two days after I dropped the car off. The day I dropped it off, they said the wrap did not adhere. It looked like my car sat there for two days until I asked for the photo, or it took them two days to remove a month old wrap and throw on one big piece lol.. My car is a small sedan, a CLA, not a supercar or SUV. Her words were: "Ok we will remove all the wrap and give you your money back. Come and pick it up today." She added, "You are demanding the refund so come get it. We cannot accommodate the time frame for you. Thank you we will be gone by 5 so please make it in time so we can process the refund." However, Mark (the installer) had reached out to me and told me him and his co worker would come into work early to finish the job. This was the second time they broke their own deadline, and instead of taking accountability, she tried to flip it back on me. Lisa took everything personally when this situation should have been handled with professionalism. I never asked them to remove my wrap; I just wanted the job done properly. The installer Mark was professional, but Lisa was disrespectful, dismissive, and extremely immature in how she handled the situation. I told them to leave the wrap and keep the money. This was their mistake, which took up the free time I rarely have. Even after I explained my situation, reminded them of prior mistakes, and was patient with the delays, they still couldn't get the job done on time. I didn't want or need the money back; I needed my car back lol. It was clear they didn't take me seriously, and I was forced to escalate this further, which she didn't like either. This was waste of time and caused unnecessary stress. I was frustrated because I had to deal with unprofessional and immature behavior. All I got were excuses, missed deadlines, and poor communication. This business does not stand on its word or its service. Don't bring your car here. Many shops in OC offer far better service and professionalism. I recommend Dependable Guys in Santa Ana! It turns out the wrap sticks just fine and clearly they were making excuses... 3 weeks no issues.

What disappointed me most was that I originally thought I would be able to keep my old tire and take it home, because I believed I could patch it myself and keep it as a spare. In the end, that was not how it worked. Their used tire replacement process meant they kept my original tire and gave me another used tire in exchange. So it did not really feel like I was simply buying a used tire for $60. It felt more like I was trading in my old tire, which did not even have a hole that obvious to me, and still paying $60 on top of that. The service was done quickly, but the overall experience left me feeling less satisfied than before. His level of concern for her safety (similar to how he'd treat his own mom) really touched us. In the end, my mom had to leave her car there for a few days for repair and once completed, Thuc even followed-up with us (a few days later) to ensure no further problems occurred & no more oil leaks. From my personal experience, a lot of independent service places & even dealerships often just do the service, take your money and send you home without batting another eye..but not here! That shows the commitment and dedication to developing long-term relationships with each of their clients by practicing good, honest principles daily. Wow, I can't stop raving about SSR Performance! Seriously, they are hands down the best performance shop ever. I took my sweet BMW M340i to them not once but twice, and you bet I'll keep going back for all my future rides! Mark, Rod, and the whole SSR team give you the kind of experience you won't find anywhere else. They keep you in the loop with constant updates about your car, break down all the cool stuff they're gonna do, and their prices are totally fair. But let me tell you, it's the quality of their work that blew me away. Top-notch, unmatched, just plain awesome! When I first went there, it was to get a Valvetronic Designs exhaust installed, and they nailed it! Quick and perfect job, no doubt. The cherry on top was when they sorted out the delivery of my old exhaust to my house, even though I live like an hour and a half away. Talk about going above and beyond! The second time around, I decided to add some extra oomph to my ride with performance mods, side skirts, and paddle shifters. And man, did they work their magic! My ride feels like a beast now, all thanks to SSR. While they were at it, I also asked them to check out my carbon fiber rear diffuser, which some local shop had messed up. Let me start by saying that in my years of dealing with auto mechanics/performance shops, never have I been treated with such respect and professionalism that SSR Performance has provided me with. My weekend car is a 2015 BMW M4 and I've been looking to squeeze a tad bit more "umph" out of my car for those short, spirited moments where you really want to test the car's potential. Being skeptical of handing my car over to just anyone, I finally stumbled upon SSR Performance through word of mouth and my own personal research. Upon entering the establishment, I was immediately taken aghast by the chique, clean, and modern reception area. However, it did not end there. The shop area seemed to have been held to the same, if not greater, standard as reception. Im a very meticulous individual so it was very refreshing to find a shop that shares the same passion when it comes to cars. I decided to pull the trigger and get catless downpipes, some suspension work, and black vinyl roof overlay(they also offer full vinyl wraps!). All the work was completed in a timely fashion with tremendous attention to detail! Five thousand miles later, this car still manages to put a smile on my face with maximum power deliver through the power-band and has fully redifined the meaning of "Canyon Carver" with my suspension work. Recently bought a 2008 BMW 335i and I absolutely love the car but it turns out that I let the excitement of buying this car get the best of me and rushed in to it without thoroughly checking the vehicle. That being said, I was looking for a shop that was very knowledgable with these cars and since it's a BMW nothing is ever simple. First met them when i bought DCIs from them and they were very quick to respond to my messages and even met up on a sunday, no one I ever bought parts from meet up on sundays so that was a good first impression. They took the time to give my car a quick look when they didn't have too so that also shows that they genuinely care about helping others. I had a lot of questions about the car since I went from a nissan to a bmw and they walked me through the car and explained what everything does. Went back in later in the week to get the spark plugs changed and they helped me out with other things. Shah and Zayn are my go-to-guys now. Both of them know what they are doing and are very good at explaining the mechanics and functions of the vehicle. Let me first start by saying Thank you to SSR and the ENTIRE Staff. I know that sometimes I can be a follow up king. I had an open line of communication with the owner the entire time. SSR did the following for my F80 M3. Crank hub (preventative), Active Autowerke EL Midpipe Install, CTS catless Downpipe Install, Front Mount Heat Exchanger Install, Suspension Install, BM3 Tune Install and a few other things. Shah and his team of master technicians can be defined as top class individuals. They leave no corner un turned. My car is my best friend and I am probably one of the most particular people in the car community. SSR found things that I would have never known about and fixed them for me. I am eternally grateful for their support and SSR you have earned a client for life. I plan to own MANY cars in my life and moving forward they will all be going to SSR for service, maintenance, modding, tuning, repairs and anything car related. I have a 2014 Mustang GT 5.0. I have been looking around for a while for a shop that can get me long tube headers and also install them for a reasonable price. Saw the SSR Performance decal while driving next to a car that had it on the side window so I decided to look them up. I found their number and gave them a call. The owner answered the phone and he was really helpful, being that they do a lot of Euro cars, he told me that he would do some research and get back to me. They did their research and got back to me on the same day with 4 different options I had and which ones they recommended. They were very polite and know how to treat a new customer. Took my car in and had it back within 2 days headers and exhaust installed just as they promised. The main thing that I noticed was that my car came back cleaner than when I left it...this is the first time any shop has actually given me my car back cleaner than when I left it! I brought my 2022 Audi R8 to SSR Performance for a suspension and wheel upgrade, and the experience was top-notch from start to finish. Shah and Zayn were both super helpful throughout the process, taking the time to walk me through the best options for what I wanted and making sure everything came out exactly how I envisioned. We went with KW height adjustable springs, and the ride feels so much more dialed in now--it's exactly the balance I was looking for. On top of that, I upgraded to HRE wheels, and they were able to refinish them in a brushed silver finish that looks absolutely perfect on the car. You can tell they care about the details and take pride in the work they put out. I've been to a few other shops in the past, but the overall customer experience at SSR really stands out. From the communication to the final result, everything just felt smooth and well taken care of. Moved out to Irvine 2 years ago. I don't have time to work on my cars anymore so I normally went to my buddy back at home before I moved out here. Starting to get into V6 power and ended buying my m235i. My business partner suggested SSR. Called them after someone hit my car in the parking while I was at work. They helped me out get the car back on the road like brand new! No problems at all after that. Decided wanted to start doing some work with the beemer. So Far the service has been amazing! Actually met the Owner at one of my locations I work at and really is a great guy! He has great suggestions and also listens to what you want! His team is amazing and works accordingly! I have witnessed them update their customers in their lounge numerous times so that the owner of their car knows exactly what's going on. No one touches my m235i except these guys! After watching and liking tons of their YouTube and Instagram posts I finally rewarded myself with SSRs power pack, bootmod and stance package for my F80 M3. From the first phone call to the reception when I first arrived and of course the work done to my ride, they were ultra professional and welcoming. My service rep Rod answered all my questions making me feel secure about my decision. I was given a tour of the facility and saw where my car was being addressed and met some of the techs. Since I had to stay at the shop all day, I was happy to see their great waiting room with a huge TV, every streaming service, fast wifi and a very friendly receptionist who kept me entertained and comfortable. Posting a few days after I picked upmy 335i (N54). As a former mechanic (albeit diesel) and currently in the aerospace industry quality is paramount so I like to take my time making sure everything is in tip top shape. SSR could not have impressed me more. They didnt try to oversell me on anything I didn't need. I usually do a cursery check of my OBD and a visual to ensure everything thats wrong is known ahead if time. Their workmanship is also superior and they even cleaned up my engine compartment which Ive been neglecting. I plan to go back for some turbos as I'm sure mine will need to be replaced soon (120k miles on the stock twins) to which they offer great prices on Pure brand turbos. Being someone with a heavily automotive background I do a lot of my own repairs and modifications. Unfortunately in California I don't have the same time and facilities I used to have in the past. So in stead of that I had to search for the right shop that was both reliable, friendly, has great communication and focused on building a lasting relationship tailored to my need and wants for my BMW 335xi. Where to begin, this place treats you like family, their customer service is at an all time high. I came in to get the front bumper on my 2018 Civic Hatchback repaired and man, Jack was such a great help in explaining the process and details that were going to take place to fix my car. Made an appointment and stopped by on a recommendation from a friend. Shop is owned by enthusiasts that have been in the car scene hosting drives and events and recently opened up shop so I thought they would be trust worthy. I stopped by because I could smell fuel sometimes when I turned on my 2010 335i. Without any mention of cost or time the guys at the shop pulled my car in and free of charge diagnosed my issue.Within 30 minutes they had tracked down that my spark plugs needed to be replaced and the root cause was my injectors. These are some very honest guys, they quoted me the price for new spark plugs and injectors that needed replacement and I am set for an appointment for next week to get the work done!
