If you feel the compounding isn't accurate trust yourself!
Our Vet recommended SRx for compounding our dogs medication since he refuses to take capsules.
First of all, the meds are extremely expensive to have compounded. That's fine, as long as they are doing what they are saying.
3/4 of the time when we showed up to pick up the meds they were either not ready to be picked up or were incorrectly done. There were instances where we came in one day and meds were not done (we were told they would be ready). Then we were told they would have them done the next day. Nope, not the next day either. Then, the third day the meds were piled into the squares like an ice cream scooper was used in the tray. 3 trips to their location and it still wasn't ready. When we complained I swear they just ran something over the top to level them off and called it accurate.
I also swear that the meds were never mixed properly as some days my dog didn't act like he had meds and some days he acted like he had 2x the dosage. Whomever they have doing the compounding wasn't properly trained. I hope they can correct this issue, but they have lost us as customers. Proper dosage is a basic necessity when compounding medications. read more
