The owner was also extremely responsive to my questions via text message. A+++! Would recommend and would hire this company again!

I dare say OMA has been one of the BEST company I have hired. Professional, affordable and the owner, Mike Akins, is friendly, honest and professional. I originally called him out to clean the basement carpet after sewage water from a plumbing emergency had soaked the carpet. His pricing was so good that I ended up having him do most of the house. Then Mike surprised me and went over and above the space that we had previously agreed on! Amazing work ethics! And now that basement carpet looks like new and no longer smells, and there are those hallmark clean carpet streak marks all over. Thank you, Mike! You will have a repeat customer in me for all my carpet shampooing needs. P.S. But don't buy the Yelp voucher as Mike said they have been trying to take that off their listing for a long time, to no avail. In other words, OMA does not honor that Yelp voucher. I will need to get a refund back from Yelp or my credit card.

Commercial - my church. The banquet hall carpet had been soiled over time with spillage that had become embedded, spots, etc. Several "professional" carpet cleaners had tried and said the carpet could be cleaned to our satisfaction. In comes OMA Professional and did what the naysayers said couldn't be and perform the services with grace and courtesy after having been told the carpet could be satisfactorily cleaned. Recommend OMA and will schedule within the next few weeks for cleaning the oriental carpets and the carpet in the home office which now has a coffee stain which I have no doubt will be removed.

True to his word, he does not do the bait and switch. He charged within $20 dollars of his original quote, the only reason he added extra was because he didn't know i had vomit on the carpet and he asked if it was ok to put down a sanitizer before he steam cleaned. He is a great guy, good with kids, very friendly. I wish there were more companies like steve's. He is not an accredited BBB company but he is on their website and has an A+ rating. The only criticism I have is that the carpet smelled a little odd after it dried. I febreezed it and it seemed to go away, you can't really notice it unless you do a faceplant into the carpet. Seriously, hire this guy, honesty is hard to come by in this industry... ive definately been screwed over by carpet cleaners before and I will be a repeat customer of Superb.

The proprietor, Steve was very nice and easy to talk to on the phone. I was at work when he came but when I got home I was thoroughly impressed with the job he did. Most recently, with all the rain we've gotten, my off white Berber carpet was embarrassingly dirty from the dogs tracking in on wet feet. He came out again today, and once again I am thoroughly impressed. He arrived on time, works alone, is very efficient (3 rooms, 2 arm charms in less than 3.5 hours). Oh yeah, and he does upholstery at the same reasonable price that he does carpeting. The more rooms you have the less expensive. I will use him again and again. Thanks Heather for your review and thanks Steve for an excellent job. http://www.superbcarpetcleaning.com/index.html

Contacted Cunningham's regarding cleaning oriental rug . I was warned when I purchased the carpet,…read morethat it must be cleaned by a company who is knowledgeable/experienced in cleaning this type of rug. Cunningham's reinforced to me that they were experienced in cleaning oriental rugs and it would not be a problem. Unfortunately, when they returned the rug, several of the colors had bled onto the background (light beige) of the carpet and the texture of the carpet changed. The Company refused to backup its mistake ! Bottom line ... stay away ! MES

I don't think I've ever written an internet review before about anything, but I feel as if I have…read moreto warn other consumers about Cunningham's. We sent four rugs to be cleaned by them in November 2017. When they returned a month later, and after a $760 cleaning bill, one of our rugs was totally destroyed. The rug we sent out had some wear and tear and some dirt, which is why we got it cleaned in the first place, but when we got it back, the stains were larger, the backing of the rug had totally dissolved, the material was frayed and further worn, it was puffy (before it had been flat and thin, which is why we bought it to go under our dining room table), and it had shrunk several inches on each side. Please see the attached photos. After several phone calls, someone from Cunningham's came out to take pictures. He was visibly stunned at the condition of the rug. After several weeks, we were told the following: "As we discussed rug cleaning is part science and part luck. With so many manufacturers out there all using different methods of construction it is impossible for any rug cleaner to know what the outcome of a cleaning will be because we do not know everything used in the different constructions." The rug came from Crate & Barrel. It's about as mainstream a rug as one could purchase. Further, the materials used in the construction were plainly printed on the care label. After a few phone calls to other cleaners and a discussion with Crate and Barrel, we were told that it is plainly obvious and common industry knowledge that dry extraction is the appropriate method for cleaning a viscose rug. This was not the method used by Cunningham's. Instead of admitting error, Cunningham's shifted blame to the rug itself: "However, the rug cleaner can not be responsible for what we believe to be inherent flaws in the way certain rugs are manufactured." It was the rug's fault? Or, maybe, it was my fault for hiring them to clean the rug in the first place? "Tufted rugs can be beautiful and are often inexpensive and therefore appeal to the mass market but they are not designed to last very long and in some cases really aren't designed to be cleaned." Apparently, I should have known that the rug wasn't designed to be cleaned and should never have sent it to Cunningham's in the first place? Crate & Barrel had this to say: "The cleaner also stated that their cleaning method is both science and luck. We don't believe luck should be a factor as a professional cleaner should know how to clean this type of rug. The recommended cleaning method is professional dry extraction. ... A professional cleaner should know which method is best, as it is common knowledge and the construction is on the rug's tag. Fibers do not change whether being used on a shirt or carpet and Viscose like Rayon should be dry cleaned." Anyone can make a mistake. All I ask is that mistakes be acknowledged and amends made. They have only offered to reimburse the cost of the cleaning ($240) and nothing else. This is unacceptable when an entire rug must be replaced. Why? "Unfortunately, rug manufacturers are not making it easy on rug cleaners to successfully clean all types of rugs without some inherent risk of physical changes. Due to this unfortunate trend we can not be liable for replacing items altered as a result of cleaning." In short: cleaning rugs is hard! We can't keep up! I regret ever sending our rugs to Cunningham's. I encourage you not to make the same mistake we did.
