Really happy a South Indian restaurant finally opened in the triad. They have an extensive menu to order, multiple types of dosas. We had the lunch buffet - had some North Indian options, but primarily South Indian selection. Also had a live dosa station on the side. High quality, fresh ingredients. Was impressed and will definitely return.

Their new location is very nice and spacious and there's plenty of parking too! We got the Cast Iron Skillet Cornbread, Grilled Romaine, Hearts of Palm & Lion's Mane "Crabcakes", and Southern Style Plate with BBQ "pork". The cornbread was so moist and the crabcakes were flavorful. The grilled romaine was a revelation - I loved whatever creamy sauce it came with, the candied nuts, and the smokiness of the romaine. The BBQ "pork" was probably my least favorite thing, but don't get me wrong, it was still tasty. We asked for a little more BBQ sauce to go with it and our waitress got it for us right away. The drinks were also fantastic! I got the Autumn Flare which was coconut water, housemade falernum syrup, pineapple juice, and lemon. So refreshing and yummy!

This spot, Hangry Joes, in my opinion has more in common with Korean style fried chicken, than a Nashville hot, or traditional southern place. The menu is diverse, and they make everything look exceptionally large and tasty... honestly, in my opinion, that ends up working against them. Compared with what is presented in their imagery, you are nearly certain to be let down by what you are given. Let me explain. I ordered the "Mega Sando Combo." The picture of a huge chunk of chicken spilling well outside the bun with plenty of tangy slaw and pickles really sold it as the thing I want. Also, when words like "Mega" are used, you are specifically creating large imagery. The reality... it's an 8 ounce chicken breast. The sandwich given to me was larger than one I would be handed at Chick-Fil-A, but not A LOT larger. It all fit completely under the bun. The amount of slaw on the sandwich was very modest... i would even say sparse. While the sandwich was absolutely tasty, my expectations were way off base, and they designed it that way. I think that's a bad thing. The price was also pretty Mega, and the amount of fries it came with... weren't even medium. We had the same issue with the loaded Mac n Cheese bowl. Again.. pictured as bountiful and spilling over the top. Reality, you would not have even had to press down to put a lid on it to go. It all was below the threshold. They also should be serving the sauce on the side with the bowls... there was so much buffalo sauce in the bowl it just tasted like eating a bowl of sauce rather than sauced chicken with mac n cheese. I have now learned my lesson. I'll come back, because really, both the sandwich and the fries were very tasty... but to be honest, not as often as I'd like, and with expectations that I have now created for myself, as opposed to seriously way overblown menu images.

I tried a Pad Thai burger (peanut sauce + vinegar pickles + Thai basil) and was impressed by the depth of flavor. The sauce was excellent, and the pickles added a nice crunch. My wife was similarly satisfied with a black bean General Tsoo Hungry (General Tso sauce + broccoli slaw). Wait times for food prep were minimal, and the operators seemed friendly and personable. One caveat: if you've feasted on the area's other burger trucks (i.e. Porter House), Bicycle Burger's offerings will seem smaller in comparison. At $8 (or $10 with fries), the pricing isn't a point of contention, but you may not find it as filling a burger as expected. Here's hoping to seeing more of this truck at local events in the future.

We were greeted warmly by David, the assistant, and he explained each of the available dishes on the trays stacked on the shelving unit. We chose pirashkis, flaky dough filled with meats or veggies, and plenty of yummy spices. Our two favorites were the tomato and the chicken and sausages. Mally, the owner and top chef, engaged us in conversation that felt like we were welcome guests in her home, specifically the kitchen. Mally gave us a plate of fresh greens from her garden complete with edible Nasturtium flowers. Very limited seating was available inside and the breezeway outside had a number of tables where we enjoyed our food and a cool breeze. After our lunch, we walked back to the kitchen to tell Mally how delicious everything tasted and I picked up a baklava to go. Tasty walnut and honey in layered philo dough was a great finish lunch. My husband and I went on a late Saturday afternoon and we were seated immediately. We shared the Fido's Fries as an appetizer and I got the Chili Cheese Dogs as my entree. Almost everything could be made veggie or vegan so I asked for the dogs to be veggie. My meal also came with a side so I got the frickles (fried pickles). The Fido's Fries were beer battered fries, topped with cheese, bacon (we got the pork option but they have soy), scallions, & sour cream (on the side). The fries were absolutely delicious! I loved my chili cheese dogs as well. It was a very generous portion because it was two dogs and a ton of frickles. As a dog lover, I adored all of the dog art & statues around the place. The menu is even dog themed. I mean they call appetizers kibbles & bits. That could not be any cuter! There is indoor seating (with a bar) and outdoor seating. As you can probably already tell, the restaurant is dog friendly (with their outdoor area). They even have a dog friendly menu (called puppy meals). Service was superb! There is no dedicated parking lot but we easily found free parking a few blocks away. My mom is a vegan and we sometimes struggles to find creative meals when she visits. I will definitely be taking her here next!

I took a bite of each and left the rest. Three different staff noticed my untouched food but none inquired or offered replacing it or removing it from bill which to me would be a gesture of a good business practice. My companion enjoyed and loved each morsel of his crab cakes! The battered fries were great! My server was very kind and attentive.
