Here are the facts-…read more I requested to be called by the manager, and received an email from a customer service instead. No attempt to resolve my issue was made. I think this speaks volumes about the company. They closed my claim without finishing the repair or my knowledge. The service call record (as in the email below) indicates they looked at my right oven (I have a double oven), but it was the left oven with the issue. I was present when the service tech was there. He quickly diagnosed the issue (I believe he said it was a faulty ignition pan that was firing to early, and said he would need to order a new one). The truth is that this company has trouble following through with service calls. They've wasted enough of my time with Pro-serve, but I suggest you never let them start wasting yours. (email below) Dear Mr. Waters, Thank you for contacting us today. We apologize for the inconvenience and intend to clarify our records and the Home Warranty service procedures. Below is a copy of our records regarding our last visit to your home: **10/30 BM out-Went to home spoke w/ customer about gas smell. Found gas smell to be in right oven. BM found igniter works, it just takes about 15 to 20 seconds to ignite burner. No gas leak and oven works within specs. No deductible, no repairs needed at this time. If there are problems with the oven at this time, the procedure is to place a work order with your home warranty; and they will assign us or another company to diagnose the unit under warranty. Regarding parts being ordered that would be up to your warranty company in this case. We suggest you contact them for coverage inquiries. Our technician communicates findings to them, and they are responsible for discussing their options with you. I apologize if this is the case and recommend contacting them to inquire about your coverage and/or place a work order for the stove issue. At this time, in our end, this claim is closed with American Home Shield; if you would like a technician to inspect, diagnose and orders parts for this repair without a work order from your home warranty company, you would be responsible for any repair parts & labor charges. Either way we would be glad to assist you! You may contact our office via email or phone to schedule a retail visit or contact AHS and place a work order; then, they will dispatch us or other company that will contact you for scheduling a technician visit. Thank you, Sincerely, Countrywide ProServ, Inc.

The contractor who was doing the flooring work highly recommended them to handle the task as well as to replace a deep sink in our laundry room. Both plumbers were polite, professional and very competent. When the time came to replace the pump after the tiling work was finished, they repositioned it into a much better configuration with the new PEX plumbing lines and connections neat, orderly and clean. Also, during the flooring job, a toilet that had been removed for the tiling work was no longer functional when it was replaced. Devin and Fred quickly diagnosed the issue and later acquired the correct parts to properly re-attach and repair the issues that had arisen. They worked late and insisted upon making sure everything was in perfect working order before leaving our house. I would highly recommend Fred and Devin of Advanced Plumbing to anyone needing plumbing work and would definitely use their services again in the future.

Alvin came with understated confidence of someone with much experience with re-piping jobs. He was…read morevery punctual, professional and knowledgeable. He walked us through what would be done, how it would be done and the reasons behind their method. His time estimates for job start date and completion were spot on. He communicated very well, was forthright, and dependable. Could this job be found for less money? Maybe. But it's hard to beat someone who specializes in repiping a house. We found the overall package and guarantee desirable. If ever there is a problem with the job, one phone call to this company with a good Better Business Bureau rating will resolve it. Their strong relationship with the pex pipe manufacturer just another plus. And the new bath and shower fixtures that had to be installed were very satisfactory. No buyers remorse here- I would not hesitate to use them again. What about the crew that came to do the actual job? There were a number of aspects of Jason and his crew worth noting. They showed up on time with a crew of five: Jason, Tim, Mike, Kira and Caleb. That assured me they would complete the job in a timely manner which they did-- finishing in one day by 3:00pm. It also assured that no one person one the crew would be overly taxed, which typically can translate to better quality of workmanship and greater capacity to give attention to detail. It was clear when I met them, as with Alvin, they had a quiet confidence about them- they do repipes day in and day out. They knew exactly what they were doing- it was obvious they were not going to be surprised by anything. They got to work, moving systematically through each phase the job, each team member off to care for their assigned task. It seemed best to use a company that specializes in re-piping jobs and this job went off without a hitch. I am very satisfied with the result.

This involved cutting into a wall and then into concrete in the basement below the bathroom to run a sewer pipe (the old pipe from the macerating toilet was zip-tied to the wall in the basement). Nick was very responsive to email and text messages and kept us in the loop at all times, which is one of the reasons we ultimately hired him. He always let us know his ETA whether it was arrival for the initial estimate or the work that needed to be done. He listened to our somewhat uninformed ideas about what we wanted to do, and gave us reasoned options backed up by years of experience. We were very happy with the plumbing work completed (Nick made sure to clean his area each day he was here and brought his own drop cloths to protect the floors) and it was obvious he knows his trade. In addition, and perhaps most importantly, we liked having Nick at the house. He's very personable and friendly, and as an added bonus, our dog loved him (and vice versa).
