However, the classes I need have become much harder to book at the times that work for me, and the studio is also a bit of a drive from where I live. I was already planning to switch to the Manteca studio once it opens, but I didn't realize that I would need an All Access membership to attend different Club Pilates locations. Because of that, I decided to cancel my membership at the Tracy studio. I understand that the membership agreement requires a 30-day written cancellation notice. I prepared a cancellation letter, printed two copies, dated it July 26, and personally delivered it to the studio on July 27. The employee at the front desk told me there was nothing she could do and that I needed to send an email instead. I explained that the cancellation policy states the notice must be in writing, and I was aware that my membership would continue through August 27 because of the 30-day notice requirement. I asked her to simply sign and date my extra copy of the letter as proof that I had delivered it. She refused, saying she would make sure the appropriate person received it and that someone would email me. As of today, I still have not received any confirmation that my cancellation has been processed. It's disappointing because everyone was very helpful when I was signing up, but the cancellation process has been frustrating and lacks communication. This experience has made me question whether I want to sign up at the new Manteca location, even though I was looking forward to it. Oh and I also sent an email.

I recently joined them for their intro class and felt very welcomed and didn't feel pressured to purchase a membership I wasn't comfortable with. I can't wait to take more classes here and am looking forward to the schedule expanding to include more times and options as the studio grows. Although they just opened, the schedule gets booked out quickly. Make sure to park on the Starbucks side of the parking lot to get to the front of the studio - the back door is usually locked!

I have been practicing Bikram yoga for over 10 years. And I have practiced as I've traveled all…read moreover the US. And I say this with all honesty. It's hard to find a studio as good as this one. Not only is the studio clean and nice. It's the instructors, so knowledgeable and helpful. They truly know what they are doing. They have our best interest at heart. They have over the last year incorporated other classes besides Bikram, like inferno hot Pilates, and variations of the classic Bikram 26&2 class. Those I cannot speak to because I'm a classic Bikram gal. It those classes seem to be very popular and full! So others must enjoy them. I see others reviews that put down how hot it is and how rigid the instructors can be. It IS hot, it's supposed to be. There a reason for everything they do. Trust the process. When I practice Bikram regularly not only does my body get fit, it's detoxifies and my skin looks younger! I'm in my 50's and no one believes me. I feel like when I go to Bikram yoga I get a work out, I am stretched, I get a facial, and I detoxify. All in 90 min. What else can do that all in 90 minutes!! Nothing. If you're on the fence about it try it at least 5 classes. Then make your decision. Don't do one class. My best friend made me try it years ago. He told me try it 5 times before I quit. I called him after my first class and said "I hate Bikram and I hate you for making me promise this!" After class 2 I didn't hate it. After class 3 I liked it after class 4 I was hooked. It has changed my life and if you trust the process it will change yours too.

This happened last year, but I want to share my experience here …read more. Good classes overall, and Tanon is an excellent instructor. However, canceling my membership was a frustrating experience. I had to give a one-month notice, go in person to submit a form, and still got charged for months after requesting cancellation in June--it wasn't processed until October. Communication was poor. Marilyn stopped responding once I asked to cancel, and Silvia never returned calls. Great instructors, but the management and cancellation process need serious improvement.

If you are looking for a relaxing, grounding, and welcoming environment to get back on the mat,…read moreplease DO NOT go to this yoga studio. It was neither welcome or grounding. I walked in this afternoon, after years of wondering about the plant, spa and yoga combo and I was greatly disappointed by the negative energy of the fellow who works there, no smiling or greeting, just how can I help you in a reluctant manner, than he says if you want plants or a spa I can't help you. No customer service, no invitation to learn more about the services. He treated me this way in front two other customers who wouldn't look me in the eye, smile or correct his bad behavior. It was plainly obvious, they didn't me to join them, and that is okay too. However, to my melanated queens who practice yoga, let me know where there is it a studio that welcomes all members of the community. Until then, it's back to Jessamyn Stanley and my black girl yoga YouTube channels! Let's change the energy. Peace.

Tal radiates positive energy! She kept me smiling, fit, motivated, and--most importantly--SAFE throughout my pregnancy. Her workouts were not only fun but also incorporate many moves that can actually be used during labor. She was always in-tune to my needs and would adapt her routines--even mid-workout--to make sure I was safe and pain-free. I also loved that she emphasized important foundations (e.g. proper breathing technique, connecting breath to core and pelvic floor, safe ways to get in/out of bed, ways to avoid diastasis recti, etc). I continue to use those skills daily. Not only is Tal a mama herself, she has years of experience as a specialized prenatal/post-partum personal trainer. She even stays up-to-date with ACOG recommendations and takes refresher maternal health courses. As a physician, I was impressed with the depth of her knowledge. If you train with her, you get access to her Strong Mama Fitness online for free--another incredible resource. Although she is no longer local in the Bay Area, she is available for 1-on-1 virtual training via Zoom. Our virtual sessions were super convenient, all without sacrificing quality.
