This happened last year, but I want to share my experience here .. Good classes overall, and Tanon is an excellent instructor. However, canceling my membership was a frustrating experience. I had to give a one-month notice, go in person to submit a form, and still got charged for months after requesting cancellation in June--it wasn't processed until October. Communication was poor. Marilyn stopped responding once I asked to cancel, and Silvia never returned calls. Great instructors, but the management and cancellation process need serious improvement. read more

If you are looking for a relaxing, grounding, and welcoming environment to get back on the mat, please DO NOT go to this yoga studio. It was neither welcome or grounding. I walked in this afternoon, after years of wondering about the plant, spa and yoga combo and I was greatly disappointed by the negative energy of the fellow who works there, no smiling or greeting, just how can I help you in a reluctant manner, than he says if you want plants or a spa I can't help you. No customer service, no invitation to learn more about the services. He treated me this way in front two other customers who wouldn't look me in the eye, smile or correct his bad behavior. It was plainly obvious, they didn't me to join them, and that is okay too. However, to my melanated queens who practice yoga, let me know where there is it a studio that welcomes all members of the community. I love this place! I have attended their yoga classes get my massages, facials and foot detoxes here. The space is gorgeous. So inviting and beautiful. The yoga class was in a large beautiful room with floor to ceiling windows. My massage and facials are perfect and I love releasing my toxins with the foot soaks. The instructors at Flow Yoga are awesome. Unfortunately the owner/management is the reason for leaving a bad review. I regret signing up for a full year contract. The studio could not do in person classes and switched to online classes due to Covid. I wanted to cancel my contract because I signed up for in person classes but the owner said I have to keep paying. She said she has no control over billing and it is handled by a third party. How can an owner have no control over billing? I talked to her for three or four months every time I was charged and every time she told me there's nothing she can do. Finally, she said I can cancel my contract if I pay half of what I owe. We agreed to a price but she never charged me. Then she continued to charge me the full amount every month. I tried to be nice and patient but I feel like I'm being forced to do this. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau as well. read more

This is my new home away from home. I had the pleasure of trying out classes on Wednesdays with Judy in September during a promotional period. After that I was hooked. Everyone is welcoming and makes you feel comfortable. Judy and Linda are fantastic. I haven't been to any of the other teachers' classes yet. The studio is beautiful, and when you get inside, you can sense the positive vibes and passion that went into creating this space. I used to do my practice at home, but there is something different in the experience of being physically present in a class with a positive environment, great teachers, and others who are there for the same reason you are. I absolutely ADORE this cozy studio! Location is perfect, it adds continuous flare to Downtown Tracy. I opted to sign-up with the 30 days for $30 and I definitely want to take advantage of this. The price is great especially for getting to know the instructors and different classes they offer (which they have a great variety). Today was Day 3 and I AM LOVING IT!! I feel the oxygen flow in my body, the strength and peace within. The total atmosphere is perfect. You feel the Zen the moment you walk through those doors. I have been going to Flow Yoga for 10 months now and am very pleased. I had never done yoga before. The prices may seem a bit high, at first, but Yoga is not cheap anywhere and when you consider the benifits-it is well worth the investment. I figure that I deserve the best so I don't worry about a few pennies here and there when my future is at stake. The place is clean and well decorated. The teachers are knowledgable, kind and extremely helpfull. The fellow students are friendly, as I never got that elite vibe from anyone. Rosa does my Eyelash Extensions at Flow Yoga and she makes my Eyelashes look Fantastic!!! I started going to her about 3 month ago and immediately people were complementing me on how youthful and bright-eyed I looked! I share my experience with Rosa to everyone I know and to people I meet who ask if my Eyelashes are mine!!! She's that good, people think they're my natural Eyelashes! The atmosphere in her room is sooo relaxing and pampering. I tend to doze off while she's placing the lashes. She is also great to talk to. Her technique is flawless!!! As she places the lashes you feel nothing. I cannot stress how peaceful and relaxing and pampering this is. She's just FABULOUS!!! I've been practicing (on and off) at Flow ever since I got re-introduced to yoga in the Fall of 2010. I love all the teachers here; each one offers a class that let's you leave the studio feeling great! I had to take a break (forced, due to work schedule) from yoga for a year and completely lost the strength I've built despite the fact that I remained active cycling and lifting weights. That's when I realized the benefits of yoga and decided to drop lifting and go back to practicing (yoga) again. I had difficulties transitioning out of the military to civilian life and I was introduced to an entirely new stressor of life. Like many Veterans, I clenched my fists and opened a whiskey bottle saying to myself "I got this, I don't need anyone." How wrong I was to think this way. I guess this place is now called Flow Yoga and Wellness. They took up the whole upstairs of the old Tracy Press building downtown. It was decorated really pretty and zen-like. Very calming atmosphere. I went there for a facial appointment with Melinda. She was great!! Very knowledgeable on products and skin types. She took the time to listen to my skin gripes and made her suggestions on what to use. The facial was so relaxing. The whole experience was just awesome! I left there feeling great, my skin felt fabulous and she gave me really good tips on how to maintain my regimen between visits. I'm definitely going back!!! read more

I went to this studio after purchasing a groupon and I fell in looooove. I went to about 4 different teachers classes and enjoyed each one. They each had their own "flow" to their class so even in the short time I was going to classes I knew what to expect from each teacher, this is not to say any were bad, I really enjoyed every single class I went to & got a great core workout while clearing my mind. Everyone at the studio even the others in the class were all nice and welcoming. I really wish yoga wasn't so expensive or I would sign up, they do offer unlimited classes, or packages but obviously unlimited is the best deal but not so much the best on the wallet. This is my first yelp review. Flow yoga is definitely worth it. I started taking classes this early spring/summer during my pregnancy! I took the restorative/pregnancy class, gentle yoga class, vinyasa flow & even Zumba! I loved how in each class the instructors helped me out and showed me correct positions without making me feel like I couldn't do it. Let me tell you, taking the yoga classes here definitely helped me through my labor. The studio has such an amazing atmosphere with its decor and the people. This was my first time at this studio, but have done yoga for many years. The studio was great. You can tell they put a lot of time and effort redesigning the warehouse to feel comfortable. Everything was clean and organized. There were also a lot of supplies and extra "things" you might need for class avaliable, which is rare. I took the vinyasa flow 1 & 2 with Cherry and it was amazing. She is a great instructor with a great tone. It was warm, but I mean it's summer in Tracy. Plus you should sweat a bit anyways. Class size wasn't too ful but not empty, maybe 12 people? I realy enjoyed this place. read more

I have been coming here for a few years on and off. I continue to return because the instructors are welcoming, especially Maria who always makes me feel like I can do it. I am not the most athletic, considered overweight, and not very flexible. However, coming to yoga always helps me feel better and sleep better. I am in the process of trying to lose weight and coming to yoga will help improve my chances of losing weight. Yoga can be done by anyone. Young, old, athletic, big boned (: etc....I truly believe yoga will benefit the body and mind of anyone. Just give it a chance and visit Yoga flow. I love Flow Yoga! I have been going to classes off and on for a little over a year now and I can't say enough good things about Silvia and the instructors at the studio (Maria, Sheema and Param are terrific!). I agree with a previous user, I have never felt intimidated in any of the classes and the students and all the instructors are friendly and extremely helpful. The studio is a nice size and can accomodate a large class but isn't too big for a small class. The addition of the ac and heaters has made a big difference in the temperature of the studio. I do not agree that the prices seem high; before I started at Flow Yoga in Tracy, I checked into Yoga classes in Pleasanton where I work and classes were @ $14 per class. And I also took a class at In Shape - not a bad class - but did not compare at all to a class at Flow Yoga. I feel that Silvia has worked to build a studio that has something to offer everyone and that she truly is invested in helping people through yoga and the many different classes the studio offers.
