Simple growing business. Loved the juice daily shot. Visited for the valentines event.

Smoothie was good but expensive. The workers were rude- no basic manners like "welcome in!" or "here you go!" just silence and angry faces.

Hungry in Flint Michigan and needed to score some snacks. My in-laws recommended a close to home…read morebakery, The Rye. Old school atmosphere with tin ceiling and wood display cases, there was lot of charm. We bought it all, everything, poppy seed, sesame, sea salt bagels, scones, vagabond pastry... We weren't far down the road before we tore into our goodies - and they were good! If you get a chance, stop in and try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

A wonderful combination of French cream and chocolate in a light pastry baked dough and with a very light vanilla frosting. The breads range from a variety of over six types from a French Sour Dough to a very fine Black Russian Rye Bread. The breads are wonderful and baked daily. The bakery shares the coffee shop next door; therefore, it is possible to have dessert with coffee in the same building. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable which adds to the European charm of this type of bakery. Serve is fine. The decor is old fashioned with European charm. There is a piano in the bakery as well on a small sound stage which is part of the window. There used to be jazz concerts several years ago before COVID. Overcall,, the Rye Bakery is one of Flushing's more interesting food/bakery establishments. The bakery also makes upon special orders cakes and pies for gradations and other community projects.

The strawberry salad dressing was delicious too, although the chicken on it was a little tough and dry. The fish and chips were great too. The fries are the beer-battered with a crispy outside, which is my favorite type of fry, and the fish was cooked well too. It's decorated so cute in here for the holidays. I love the bows they put on the lights and how they line the shelves with decor! It definitely adds to the cozy vibe. Our server Jennifer was great too. She matched the ambiance perfectly with a confident, relaxed vibe. Very attentive and honestly one of the better servers I've had this holiday season. One update from my earlier visits: prices have definitely crept up a bit, and they now add a fee for card transactions. Not my favorite surprise at the end of the bill, especially at a place like this. That said, there's still a ton of variety on the menu with plenty of options, plus some more upscale entrées if you're feeling fancy!

Been here a few times and the food was usually good. Not today - I had a buffalo chicken wrap and…read moreit tasted like I was eating breaded chicken tenders that were microwaved (that's how tough the chicken was) I finally gave up halfway through my wrap. My Son got the Sunrise Burger, which was slightly under cooked. Our server never came and asked if we needed drinks or to check on us until she saw the card on the table to pay. Another thing that was strange was the hostess walked by while I was talking to my Son and (i assume it was a piece of trash she grabbed off of the table) but did it so quickly it was odd because 1 -I was unsure of what she did at first and 2-her hand was super close to my plate ...... No concern from the server until AFTER she took my payment and asked if I needed a box.... Nope, no thanks - asked if she wanted me to take it off the bill - I told her not to bother because why bother after it had been paid for??? She apologized and I told her it was not her fault she did not cook it - her response (as she is laughing) "you're right I didn't!" I will not be going back anytime soon

They had a list of solid options, but we landed on Puerto Vallarta... and wow, what a call. From the moment we walked in, it just clicked. Even though there was about an hour and a half left before closing, they treated us like we had all the time in the world. The place had that perfect buzz--busy, lively, clearly loved by locals--but still warm and welcoming. For a Tuesday night, it was packed, which is always a good sign. Turns out, there's a reason for that. Then we opened the menu... and it all made sense. The selection is incredible. So many options that actually make you pause (in the best way) because everything sounds worth trying. It's not just variety for the sake of it--it's the kind that makes you want to come back again and again just to work your way through it. What really made the night, though, was the whole experience. Great food, great energy, and getting to share it with family on our first night in town--it set the tone perfectly. This wasn't just a meal; it was the kind of start to a trip you hope for but don't always get. Safe to say, we didn't just enjoy Puerto Vallarta--we fell for it a little. And we'll absolutely be back.

Our server checked in often and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was much better than I expected. My friend ordered the chicken fajitas, which arrived sizzling with a good balance of meat and vegetables and plenty of flavor. I had the chimichangas. They were two smaller, hand rolled fried shells filled with exceptionally well seasoned ground beef. There was a layer of queso underneath and a little sauce on top, which brought everything together. They were delicious. The beans and rice were standard sides. Not standout items, but not bad either. The chips seemed store bought, and the salsa was fresh but mild with very little heat. Overall, I would definitely go back. The ground beef was excellent, and I'm especially curious to try their tacos since flavorful meat is often where other places fall short. We spent about $20 each with drink.
