The only reason why I took 1 star off was that their website system didn't seem to register any changes I made prior to the appointment (the website doesn't allow changes to be made 48 hours ahead of time, but I definitely made changes well ahead of that time frame). I had added on an oven cleaning, but the information didn't seem to go through at all and I had to ask her to stay later to get it done. It was a little frustrating but despite that, I am happy to support a local company that pays their workers a fair wage.

Don't give them your credit number before the job is done!…read moreFresh Tech told me for 6 hours of an emergency deep clean it would be $543 for my 1250 sq ft. house. They said they don't use "chemicals" I explained that I didn't care about that, had an invisible layer of spray paint particles (not dried) that had traveled to my first floor from a job in the basement. Wanted it gone. When they arrived I told them not to bother with the upstairs rooms, just concentrate on the 1st floor surfaces and the basement. Jay from Fresh Tech called to say the cleaners agreed with "the estimate". They texted me in 4 hours they were finished. I said okay I'm paying you for 4 hours, not 6. They refused and gave me some nonsensical story about labor hours. Got home after work and did a wipe of my kitchen floor and the paper towel was black! See below. Their ridiculous explanation is that is for a "first pass" clean. Additional passes would require additional time and labor!! But they left after 4 hours and I paid for 6. Had explained I need the paint GONE.SCAM company. Don't fall for the hype they give you on the phone. Don't care about their clients and I am a neighbor. Care about separating you from your money. Charged my card MORE than quote -$559 Edit-Owner acts as if I haven't already complained to Fresh Tech. I offered to settle for $400 and they proceeded to charge my card $559. All I got was excuses and refusal to adjust the price. NO surcharge was ever mentioned or put in writing. They have my number, they can call me to rectify the overcharge.

The dust had really built up by the time I started looking for a maid. Most cleaning services seem to prefer setting up jobs online, but I like personal contact. I spoke with Veronica, who came out to assess the job in person. This was a plus for me, as I didn't want a cookie-cutter quote based solely on square footage. On the appointed day, three ladies worked non-stop for five hours spotlessly cleaning two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, dining room & living room. They brought all their own equipment and cleaned everything; bathtub, oven/stove, refrigerator, windows, Venetian blinds, ceiling fans, etc. All done cheerfully and efficiently at a very fair price. Afterward, I imagine these hardworking ladies were exhausted, but they didn't show it, they never flagged. Very dedicated and admirable. I've never hired a maid service before so maybe I'm naïve, but the results are remarkable and a big boost to my spirits, as if being led out of a dim room. They stated that they wanted to revisit the situation, find a fair resolution & asked me to propose what I believed would be reasonable. They also asked if I would consider revisiting my review once we came to a resolution. I responded the same day. I explained that my original vacuum cost approximately $200 and that, although I would have preferred to replace it with a comparable model, I deliberately purchased a less expensive replacement for $108.49 in an effort to keep things fair. I also noted that I had originally asked the company to reimburse only half of that amount, but that request was declined & I was directed to pursue the matter through the company's insurance. Given the considerable time and back-and-forth that had already gone into this matter, I asked that the company reimburse the full $108.49 replacement cost and advised that I would update my review to reflect any resolution reached. As of August 2, I have received no response. I am adding this update because it is part of my experience with this company. They reopened the discussion, asked me to propose a fair resolution, and I responded the same day. Since then, there has been no further communication.

I really like that this company treats their cleaners with respect and takes care of their employees. Everyone I've interacted with has been nice and friendly. After an initial in-person estimate, communication has primarily been through email and has been clear and easy. We have the same lady come every 2 weeks (while we're at work) and she is comfortable in the house and knows where all our cleaning equipment is. She cleans well and throughly and if something comes up - like skip one of the kid's rooms this week - I just leave a note and it's never been a problem. The house is always so nice when I come home from work! During the initial estimate, we laid out pricing for extra services like oven cleaning and fridge cleaning. In the past, when I've worked with individual cleaning ladies, they would occasionally throw those services in when the ladies felt they were needed or when they were skipping a kids room and not upcharge. I think it's a fair upcharge and it was clearly spelled out before starting, so this is not a negative to me but I figured I'd mention it.

On the scheduled day, they showed up on time and did a fair job of cleaning. For the price, we expected better.

Absolutely Incredible Experience!…read more I hired Clever Cleans for a full house move-out deep cleaning, and I couldn't be happier with the results! The cleaning lady ended up showing up about 15 minutes late due to traffic, but she notified me well in advance, which I really appreciated. Communication goes a long way! What impressed me even more was her patience--she actually waited for me to walk through and check everything after the work was complete to make sure I was 100% satisfied. Walking back into the house was amazing; it literally had that "new house" smell. I added on the fridge, oven, and window cleaning, and everything was done to perfection. The windows were spotless inside and out (including the frames), the appliances were pristine, and the shower door was so clean it looked brand new!
