Recently opened (July 2015), this little public swimming Pool isn't quite finished being…read moreconstructed in all it´s Details. There is also a Sauna, a Fitness Area and a Hammam-bath as well (everything costs extra), but I have (so far) only been at the swimming pool. First impressions are very good. It´s a very modern building and while taste is certainly in the eye of the beholder - I quite like the design and the architecture. The changing rooms are spacious and were clean when I was there. The showers were also very nice, but they are missing a fixture to put your shower-gel/soap. Since bathing-caps are not mandatory at this pool - being able to put your soap somewhere and not on the floor, would make showering it more comfortable and thus could help keep water-quality good. Inside the Pool area, there are three basins. One for toddlers, one "multipurpose" with adjustable depth (1 Meter 30 max) and a 25 Meter pool for swimming (I think it´s 25x12), depth 1 Meter 80 all around. The swimming-basin is stainless-steel. There are two, let´s call them "islands" at the walls, made from wood, with deck-chairs for some relaxation. There are some small palm trees on them and one of said "islands" also features a fishtank. The brochure says that this is "your first feg-shui swimming pool" - I´m not sure about that, but I also don´t care ;) The multipurpose-basin will also be the venue of Aqua Jogging, Aqua Fitness and all these sort of things. On Top of the Building, there is also an exterior sun-deck. You can reach Auqazena via the RER-station Calmart, the Bus 169 or the TUVIM Bus (green line). Or of course by Car, though there wasn´t a lot of parking space left when I was there. Negatives? Like I already hinted in the first sentence, despite being open to the public, the whole thing is simply not finished now (July 2015). I´ve been there a couple of days after the first opening and while everything was generally functional, a lot of the necessary details were still missing. I´m, sure this will all be done in the next weeks or months, but it lessened my experience no less. For example: the signage. I could make a long list now, but let´s just say that they are still in need of A LOT of signs on the walls. Where to go, where everything is, how to use the (electronic, money-less lockers) ... etc. There is not even a Sign outside telling you what this building is. There also is no clock anywhere inside. Privacy is another issue that popped up during my visit. There was a lot of picture taking going on inside around the pool which is forbidden in almost every other public swimming pool that I know. But at least the (very friendly and helpful) Staff stepped in when some teenagers started taking under-water pictures. If you are shy, the upper sundeck is also not for you. The residential-buildings are quite close and there is no Visual cover of sorts and so there are a lot of people who can watch this sundeck up close from their living-rooms. Price-wise I´m not feeling the 5 Euro 60 (Residents of Issy get a reduction) Entrance fee for the pool. Sure, there are some good plans and abonnements if plan to go there often, but 5,60 is still a lot of money to go for a swim. Either way, I will certainly return in some weeks time, hoping everything is finished by then. It´s generally a nice, small, modern pool.

Our meal started with an excellent chanterelle mushroom velouté with brown butter and crispy sage--deep flavor, silky texture, and a perfect way to start the evening. For first courses we tried the sea scallop carpaccio and the foie gras au torchon. The scallops, with confit citrus, fennel, and radish, were bright and very fresh. The foie gras, served with pear, hazelnut, mâche, and date vinegar, was rich and carefully balanced. Then we had the roasted cauliflower "à la grenobloise," the French lobster in beurre blanc, and the Corsican veal with gnocchi, black trumpet mushrooms, and spinach. Everything was cooked precisely; the vegetables were handled with as much care as the seafood and meat. The chocolate soufflé with vanilla ice cream at the end was textbook perfect--beautifully risen and not too sweet. Service was professional, courteous, and unhurried from the owner herself and the room itself is calm and comfortable rather than showy. Our only real criticism is that several dishes seemed to share very similar brown, buttery sauces, so over the course of the menu some of the flavors felt a bit repetitive. Still, the overall level of cooking is very high, and we left satisfied and impressed.

The memorial part was speaking to the Somm on each of the wine pairing (55 Euro was quite a steal) and the pairing is customizable (that we did not want dessert wine she was kind to accommodate and pour us a bold red to wrap up the meal) We had the scallop ceviche with Meyer lemon, which was refreshing. There were other dishes that was not very memorable - a butternut squash and a chicken dish. Overall, felt that service was good but a bit robotic.

Our waiter was attentive, professional, and jovial. What makes this experience epic and exceptional is the tour itself. I even downloaded a speaking translation app in order to be able to tell waiters that I am gluten free vegetarian! ;-) Arriving to our new "home" here in Paris, we looked on Yelp for nice place near to us and found Axuria from the review written by Randy D. Thank you for sharing otherwise we would not have found this treasure. We expected typical French service, but we were blown away. The Chef-owner, Olivier Amestoy, Director of the Restaurant, Lionel Brissard and their server, spoiled us for any other restaurant and we plan to return as many times as we can while we are here. They were very accommodating for my allergies, providing amazing options for me starting with an amazing Asparagus soup Amuse Bouche, followed by one of the best salads I have ever had, and my main, (an entree on the menu) Asparagus with poached eggs and hollandaise. Dessert was a trio of the best sorbet we have had. My friend is in love with the first amuse bouche we received - the cheese puff pastry, she ordered a plat - "Noisette L'Agneu" a roast lamb that she declared to be absolutely delicious. Dinner was accompanied by a wonderful wine of course... Sitting "with" us were two ladies who ordered two different fish dishes that were wonderful as well as the soufflé for dessert that looked out of this world. The decor was beautiful and freshly original, lighting inspired by nature, creating an ambiance and atmosphere suited to the beautiful food and service. The five stars is the best I can give for the the experience we had and it is well deserved.

We were the only Americans in the establishment, which made us uneasy. Afterall, our French was only as good as Google translate. However, the waiter, the only waiter serving the entire restaurant, was gracious enough to translate the ENTIRE menu! He even recommended wine based on all of our different dinner choices. I forgot his name, but he is the only one there that speaks English well, which we appreciated so very much! The souffle, which had alcohol mixed in, was enough to feed at least 3! Definitely save room for this dish! I liked the duck breast and foie gras patè, which was one of their specials for the night. If they have it, do order it. The snails on the appetizer list were all deshelled and covered with a lemony sauce. Do try this as well! The fish options were pretty similar, so none of them are bad options. We all loved this place. I think we loved it even more because of how nice the waiter was to us. We probably could've eaten so-so food and declared it scrumptious! If I'm ever back in Paris, I would definitely come back here.

I don't know the exact reasons but I've never felt so at home while eating a nice meal. We got there right when they opened for lunch, the decor was tasteful and cozy. Everything was excellent, with every bite I took, in my head I yelped: the chef really knows how to cook a good meal! All the ingredients were brought to their best and completed each other. The overall palate was neither overwhelming nor boring. It's just right. The surprise wine pairing was fun and perfect as well. (At one point I forgot it was supposed to be "surprise" and asked what the wine was as they were pouring and they wittily replied "I don't know". I was too tipsy to process his humor so I just looked at my husband and made the face "how would he not know?" It wasn't until later that I realized what happened, Lolllll) What I liked the most was the staff, they were professional and attentive but they also liked to have fun with their job. Not only did they joke with us here and there with their Parisian humor, they also entertained me in my curiosity with the fresh (but decorations) fruits on the table. Two of them actually came over to cut open the teeny tiny caviar lime at the table to show me what's inside and let me try it after I stared at and played with it throughout the meal lol... We were the last two tables to leave (slower than Parisians at eating?! What?!) and the chef happened to come out to meet everyone and we chatted with him for a while -- there were some interesting Asian influences in his dishes that I recognized from childhood and he verified they were because of his wife. It was overall such as fun meal, I'll come back soon!
