Worst pizza I've had in my entire life. My whole family hated it. We ended up throwing out three pizzas after a couple of bites in each.

I've had other worldly pizza in Naples, I've had great pizza in Rome, NYC, San Francisco and New Haven, I've had very good pizza in Boston but this pizza just doesn't cut it for me no matter how you slice it. Nothing about it stood out...dough, sauce, cheese, pepperoni....all rather meh. I had wanted to try Detroit Style Pizza for awhile due to all the raves but now that I have I will stick to Neapolitan or Thin Crust Pizza such as NY or New Haven style. read more

Previous reviews state the pizza is small for what they cost. At first glance I would agree. But a slice is very filling and delicious! This is not a typical NY style pizza. This is strictly a take-out place, so I ordered online and picked up about 25 minutes later (Saturday night). I ordered a large cheese and pepperoni and a small cheese for four people and we all stuffed ourselves and had two slices left over. The crust was perfectly crisp and the filling was delicious. This spot offers good pizza. By reading other reviews, my expectations were huge, probably that's why I am not giving it 5 stars. I was surprised to see lot of employees working in such a small place, but customers don't feel unsafe. Sanitizers are available for the customers. I just wish they had a slightly bigger place. Pizza options are unique and interesting and you can always create your own. Buffalo chicken deluxe was extremely tasty and heavy. I would have loved a crispier crust but it was not bad at all. Truly excellent and delicious pizza. There aren't many good pizza options in MetroWest, at least in our experience, and Square stands out. Solid square shaped Detroit style pizza. The small ($15) has 6 thick pieces and can feed 2 people easy. We have had several types and always come back to the mushaboom. Really like the text updates of when order is received and when it is ready for pickup. These slices are square-ish and may bend when you pick them up. I find that if you order it more well-done it is more firm and easier to handle. Great menu of speciality pizzas and make-your-own options. Clever toppings and sauces for the adventurous eater. AMAZING!!! We got 2 smalls, a Superoni and Mushaboom. Both were so delicious....the toppings were great, crust was so good...cannot wait to order again. Meh. We had high expectations for this place given we have ties to the Detroit area, an area that surprisingly has really good pizza. I thought the meat pizza was three stars, albeit very overpriced. My daughter did not like the plain cheese. So much so I thought she was overly negative. However, I tried the plain cheese and I was shocked how terrible it was. Hardly any sauce and the taste was extremely sub-par. The one star of the plain cheese and the three of the meat averages out to the two stars. Desert island pizza. This is now a Friday night staple for our family. The edge of the crust is crunchy. The rest of the crust is airy. The toppings are fresh and delicious. The specials combine flavors ingeniously. Absolutely the best pizza in the area; really, it's the best I've ever had. Never been to Naples, but I have lived in NJ and I've also been to more than a few NYC pizzerias. Square MFG still has the top spot in my heart and stomach. Also, the salads are excellent. If you like Greek salad generally, you'll *love* the Greek salad here. Service is always friendly, and orders are ready promptly. Only once in the many times I've ordered from Square MFG has there been a delay, and it was on the order of a few minutes. Get your next pizza here -- you will thank yourself you did. read more

Introduced my family to Detroit style pizza since it's so rare to find in the northeast and they were blown away! The sauce is so nice and semi-sweet and the dough is as it should be with the nice crisp ends. Sauce seeps through the cheese to dough and is really delicious! Truly outstanding! We tried the pizzas and wings and everything was delicious. Pizza was full of fresh ingredients, the crust was thick and perfectly browned on the edges, and the sauce was awesome. The wings were cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and not greasy at all -- we could have eaten just the wings for dinner and been satisfied! Even the (I think homemade) dipping sauces were great. When I typically think of Pizza, I think of a traditional Italian Slice. Long triangular pieces, flat, toppings, you know, the usual. Having had different Pizza's from all over the country, I thought this was my favorite type. No more. Square Manufacturing Company changes the game by making their Pizza in a pan. A fluffy, airy, focaccia like base with slightly crispy cheese and a slightly sweet sauce make up this amazing Pizza (Pan?). We went on the first night and got a Greek Salad, Wings, The Big Cheese and the Luau. Usually the salad is quite disappointing at any normal Pizza join. Not here. The large Sundried tomatoes were a great treat along with a healthy supply of olives. The Wings were cooked to perfection, juicy with a slight crisp on the skin. The main attraction, the pizza, was amazing. I never expected to like a pizza with Pineapple, pork and red sauce, but the blend was perfect. Our favorite was the Big Cheese. The blended cheese along with Ricotta hit the spot. This place has entered our typical Pizza rotation and we will be back many more times over the near future. read more

Wanted to try this spot for a little while because it came up in phantom ghost and I never tried Detroit style pizza. It's great that you can order 2 different pies so you can try different styles but I think I chose wrong on 1 of them because the SUPARONI wasn't good but cacciatore was good. The motor city is famous for many things. Pizza is sometimes overlooked in Detroit when considering the music and cars that have come from there. Square MFG brings the pan baked fluffy dough creation to the metro west. Crisp on the outside and light on the inside, I found this to be authentic. The wings and salads were also great, but I was surprised at the what seemed to be a half pound chocolate chip cookie. Good as it is. We ordered two large pizza, (one with onions and sausages) it was good one and another with buffalo chicken and cheese. We had to pullout some jalepenos as it didn't mentioned in the menu. I called them before I ordered them. I asked for specific instruction if any other topping on buffalo chicken, they said blue cheese and some bbq or ranch drizzle over. I asked them to remove them. They didn't mention about jalepenos. I wish they did so we didn't have to pull out some. However, the pizzas came out good with nice taste and thick. We had to save some for another day to eat. Amazing pizza! The crust has a nice crisp-ness to it while still being soft on the inside. They use high quality pepperoni that curls up when you cook it (that's how you know it's good). They put the sauce on top of the pizza rather than under the cheese which is a little messy but worth it. The Cajun wings are excellent. Even the ranch dressing is good and it tastes homemade. I have a new favorite pizza spot! My husband and I just shared a "Suparoni" pizza. I was hesitant to try it due to the "honey drizzle" description. However, I am so happy I did! We tried Square (Pizza) Mfg. Co. last night on a whim after a long and difficult day. I was totally surprised with the place. The pizza was super flavorful and delicious, not too spicy, and just all around perfect comfort food. This is a great new Natick business and we're going to work our way through many more pizzas in the near future. . Paper plates for now! They accommodated my special needs as well and couldn't have been any more helpful or kind. Please give them your business, you will not regret it. I ordered boneless wings for takeout through DoorDash and they were horrible. Worst experience in a long time. 17 dollar for a small and there was very light sauce, super salty, and tiny almost nugget like tenders. DO NOT BUY then, you will be disappointed. I don't write many reviews, but Square MFG is among the best pizza around. I had to be in Framingham and found them on Yelp. We ordered Cajun rubbed wings, salad, a medium Cacciatore and a medium Mushaboom. Mediums lasted two meals for each person. The unique Detroit style (I wasn't familiar with Detroit style) was wonderfully crisp on the bottom/sides but soft in the middle. The ingredients were fresh and well blended. Both pizzas rocked as did the wings (love the dry rub and double cooked method). Salad had white balsamic and ranch came with the wings...both were much better than typical dressings...home made? Tiny store with no seating. Half hour drive from home, but well worth it. Thanks and keep it up!! read more

Highly recommend this new pizza place in Natick. Was skeptical when they opened and saw they did not put tomato sauce on the traditional way. We had them make us a pizza the old fashion way and it was ok. So next time we ordered their specialty pizza. Great call. We loved the Carnitas taco pizza, the Mushroom Boom was amazing and the Cacciatore pizza was a meal in to itself.
