Here's the rundown of everything I've tried off their menu rated on a 10-point scale. - Suparoni: 10+ / 10 - Carnitas Street Tacos (Pizza): 10+ / 10 - Shrimp & Grits (Pizza): 10+ / 10 - Buffalo Chicken Deluxe: 10+ / 10 - Luau: 10 / 10 - Mushaboom: 9 / 10 - Veggie: 8 / 10 - CBGB: 8 Out of 10 - Bone-In Wings (Classic Buffalo): 7 / 10 Note that amongst the top 4 or 5 pizzas on the list above I can't choose a favorite. They're all just so damn good. Many of the reviews for Square MFG Co center on debate regarding Detroit vs. New York style pizza - forget about this. This is not a matter of one style being superior to the other. Instead, Square MFG Co's brilliance comes from their ability to use Detroit style pizza crust as a vehicle to layer elegantly crafted flavor combinations derived from a large variety of often non-traditional toppings - something you just can't do well with a NY style pizza. The end results are numerous specialty pizzas that are so far beyond anything we've commonly referred to as pizza. (P.S. to Square MFG Co - I can't wait to try the pizza you're developing next... I can't say enough about how great this pizza is. I'm in town from Indy working in Natick for a few days and ended up eating this two nights in a row. The Suparoni is an amazing example of the Detroit style pizza and the Mike's Hot Honey gives it something no other pie has. If you're thinking about it, stop thinking and just get it. read more

GLUTEN FREE/CELIACS REJOICE I'm just going to cut and paste what I wrote in an email to the manager of this place. SPOILER ALERT: This pizza isn't good, it's INCREDIBLE! "The gluten free pizza I got from you guys on Wed night is, hands down and no exaggeration, the best damn gluten free pizza I've ever eaten. I mean, it would be good just REGULAR pizza but the fact that it's gluten free is just mind blowing. I've been a diagnosed Celiac for a bit over a decade now, and prior to going wheat free had eaten some of the best pizza there is to be had. (NYC slices and Chicago deep dish.) When I met my wife (who is from Detroit) she introduced me to the wonder that is Jet's Pizza. This pizza reminded me of the best of those pre-Celiac slices. It was so good that my wife took the first bite (she was going to eat your regular pizza and didn't want me to get glutened) and she straight up panicked thinking we had just gotten a regular gluten pizza. She ate a bite of the regular and then calmed down but the initial bite was so good she didn't think it could possibly be gluten free. I love your gluten free pizza. It's the best gluten free pizza I've ever eaten. You can put that on the box. Sincere thank you for whatever wizardry you've come up with to get your crust so perfect. Such good pizza!!! We've ordered from here 3x since it opened. Usually do take out, so can't comment on in store dining or service. What I can comment on is the deliciousness of this Detroit style pizza. It's deeper than NY style but shallower than Chicago style. No fork or fold necessary, but the buttery pullowy crust is dreamy. So Yelp says they have indoor seating, they don't, even before the flu. Not sure why my pepperoni pizza came with peppers as well but seems many of the pictures indicate that. I wasn't crazy about the peppers at all. Otherwise it was a very average pizza. The pepperoni was small and average tasting and I'd prefer twice as much pepperoni especially for the price of $25 for a large pizza. For me the pizza has too much sauce globed on top, I rather have cheese on top of my pizza. Overall it would be an okay pizza for half the price. So maybe I'll go again if they have a half price sale and I can switch the sauce dollops for cheese. read more

Welcome to Boston/Natick - Square Mfg Co - Detroit Style Pizza! Way to represent the "D"! The pizza had a thick, but light and airy crust, with perfectly crisp edges. The flavor of the cheese and sauce are just delicious. The style of pepperoni used makes the edges turn up and get a little crispy which I absolutely love. I also tried one of their specialty pizzas, the Luau (a take on a Hawaiian). Wow, just WOW! Roasted pork, grilled pineapple, caramelized onions, and topped with cilantro. The flavors are just amazing. I cannot wait to try another specialty creation. The wings were really good too. I went for the dry rub - Cajun. The cook on them was perfect and they had a nice kick to them. The meal ended with the most delicious chocolate chip cookies (one is big enough for 3 people) - chewy, chocolatey, and a must with every order. read more

They have so many options, I've tried the pepperoni and the mushroom pizza and I highly recommend both of them. I got a vegetarian large pie with onions and jalapenos and another large pie with half pepperono half buffalo chicken.. Two things prices are super high for pizza feel cashing in on the fact at that point there were none doing detroit style but now that everyone including pizza hut (good reviews there ) is doing hope prices come down. The other is dont order buffalo chicken unless you are planning toneat immediately in the car otherwise get really really soggy. So leta dig in the detroit style crust. It was nice and crunchy on outside and moist and soft on inside. Loved the crust and that what made the pizza.. sauce on the top was great as well and pepperoni was good tasting not really the cheapest kind you find in normal mom pop place. The is on old pizza hut take location near natick mall.. i made special trip from North andover to try but will def think again if it is really worth the expensive price of pizza to drive that long to get the pizza again. I am so excited to have Detroit style pizza in the area! Thick crust is my jam. We ordered take-out on their soft-opening day and it was truly delicious. The Superoni was AMAZING and a perfect combo of complimenting flavors. My husband ordered his own custom pizza and it came absolutely loaded with toppings. He basically passed out eating it, he was so happy! The sauce was packed with flavor. The breadsticks similarly didn't skimp on toppings but lacked enough cheese for my taste, and a bit intense with whole cloves of garlic. But definitely a treat! Never had Detroit style pizza, but I have had Sicilian style and this is a wonderful square pizza, with perfectly chewy dough and that slightly charred (in a good way!) crusty edge that is delightful. I like that the sauce (which is delicious) is put on too after it is taken out of the oven.. and the pepperoni they use is the little cup style that char at the end. We got a pepperoni pizza and we were very pleased. As a note, I have had a very difficult time finding good pizza in Metrowest, and this is the second really good place we have found. So glad we tried it! We will definitely return to try some different toppings.. the Mike's honey hot drizzle looks interesting (maybe with some Buffalo chicken...) Excited to try it again! Worst service. I placed an order online. They could not find the order even though I gave my last name. It was under the same last name but had my husband's first name under our Toast account. The employees were smug and said we had no order even though my card had been charged. I found the order number but had already disputed the charge on my card. The staff was really not helpful. So, here's the thing. Their "large" pizza measures 13"x9", a rectangle (not a square, but fine), and with a few toppings, this costs $25. The amount of pizza in square inches is the same as a 12" round pizza (do the math!), which would never be called a "large" anywhere, and which would cost about three times less at most local places. When we picked up our order last night, we had to double check whether that's really a large - yes, they said. At 13"x9", it's just slightly bigger than a sheet of printer paper, which measures 11"x8.5". So, that's that. The crust is interesting in that it's a somewhat spongy texture that's unique and quite good. Yes, it's a bit thicker than your typical pizza, but it's far from deep dish. Still, we can't stop doing mental math here, which tells us that an actual large 18" round pizza from most local places would be about half the price for double the amount of pizza. Three stars, because it's decent, but not "wow, where has this been all my life?" But, in dollars per square inch... Well, see above. read more

Probably the best pizza I've had in my 19 years living in New England. Never had Detroit-style pizza before and was a little skeptical but this was seriously so good. We ordered the "Suparoni" pizza and it was the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. The hot honey drizzle paired with the peppadew peppers and pepperonis was quite good. We also ordered some wings (garlic parm and buffalo) and those were fantastic as well. Really looking forward to more visits to Square in the future! read more
