I've been following facet on social media for a while. I was finally able to visit, and I was…read morepleasantly surprised. Facet Gallery is in Old 4th Ward, right off the Beltline. Parking is right out front for $5, but if you don't mind walking for less than 5 minutes, you can street park for free. Pay attention to the street signs so you won't be towed!! I attended the opening reception for "Tradition: A Tattooers Art Show." There was music playing, I'm not sure if it was a dj, or a playlist. Beer and wine were sold on the first floor towards the back. I like the layout of the gallery; there were at least 20 pieces on display. The prices were reasonable: $150-1000. That's pretty standard from what I've seen at local galleries. I really liked the ambiance; I was able to talk to other patrons and some of the artists. The show had pieces from Miya Bailey, Corey Davis, and Cake, but I also learned about new (to me) artists to follow. Overall, Facet is great a gallery to visit in Atlanta, I'll definitely be back.

They have lots of things for sale, lots of art to see, but I'm telling you the amount of supplies in different Craft things was fabulous. Bonus that it is a shared space with the library, I believe that's also temporary. But take a few steps and you can sit and read in the library for a while as well! I was given the choice of 10 charms and 3 glues, but I ended up only using 2 glues. Choosing all the charms was probably the most stressful part, they have so many options! I found that putting the charms on the brush was the easiest part. The whole thing likely took around an hour. The service is great; the girl helping me out walked me through the entire experience from choosing charms to squeezing out the cream glue. I like the cream glue piping tool & the consistency of the glue, it felt perfect for the activity. As for food, we got the Signature Popcorn Chicken Platter & the Matcha Panda Crepe Cake. The platter was GREAT, it had so much variety and I enjoyed everything inside it. It also came with three sauces to try. I liked the crepe cake as well, the panda on top is a crunchy marshmallow & the rest of it is just filled with whipped cream.

It's still a bit pricey in my opinion but worth trying out at least once. There are cheaper options for bracelets (plastic beads or wooden beads instead of crystal), but they weren't really my style. They also have other craft experiences such as keychains, cross-stitching, and crystal bowls. My overall recommendation is for the staff to streamline the process somehow, since it can be really confusing. We walked in and the place was packed with no instructions for what to do. We made our way to the line at the kiosk to order drinks and food. We were told to scan a QR code to learn about the crafting experiences and to flag down staff to get started. We entered and were greeted very warmly. Wifey informed the lady what she was looking for and she personally walked us directly to the booth. So this place is not just for craft supplies it is a huge market with everything you can think of. We checked out the craft booth we wanted to visit and then we walked around the whole facility, which is basically the size of a warehouse. There were plenty of nooks and crannies to explore. Anything you're looking for; from original art to clothing to furniture is available. The staff was very friendly, asking us multiple times if we needed help finding anything.
