Good space for parking once we found the building. The staff was very professional and accommodating. The bathroom was clean and provided Bath & Body Works lotion! The building was large, nicely decorated, and beautifully set-up for an event that's known to sell-out within hours of posting their dates & locations. The bar did take credit cards, but the drink choices were limited. There was also a vendor there that sold $10 wine glasses. I've been to painting events and felt like the space was tight, but here I was able to enjoy myself and not feel like I was going to knock over my neighbors paint brushes!!! After a night of painting, wine, and dancing all I need was some sleep (and epsom salt)...

I had my wedding here in April 2016. After looking at a bunch of different in town wedding venues,…read moreI chose the Estate. I needed a location that could accommodate the wedding ceremony and the reception. The Estate was able to do this effortlessly without sacrificing the beauty of the wedding ceremony or the fun of the reception. I loved planning my wedding at the Estate because it is a one stop shop: they did our flowers, decorations, linens, food, bar service, valet parking and our cake! As a busy bride, it is so helpful to not have to coordinate with numerous vendors. The artistry of the floral arrangements blew me away. The venue was a hit with our guests as it is an interesting building that allows the wedding to flow seamlessly from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. The venue is tucked off Piedmont Road behind a nondescript brick wall and gate. It is the kind of place you've driven past a million times and never thought twice about. Once you go through the gates of the driveway, you won't forget it. The landscaping and trees that surround the Estate make it hard to believe you are in the middle of Buckhead (we got some great outdoor photos). The main house is a historic antebellum home with a huge sun porch, chic interior design and beautiful art on the walls. There are at least 4 spaces for bars in the main house with a ceremony space and ballroom built off the side of the original structure. I'd recommend having your wedding here-- it was easy to plan with the staff at the Estate and the wedding was so beautiful thanks to their work.

The food was "the best wedding food we've ever had" and you have an enormous amount of options to choose from. The property was pristine and is obviously kept up nicely. If you are looking for a wedding venue where you and your guests leave saying "Wow! That was perfect. Everything ran so smoothly", then The Estate is the place for you. I never thought a wedding day could run so seamlessly, but mine did thanks to the staff at Legendary events and the Estate.

All of the staff was professional and friendly. Once we checked in for the Candlelight event we were seated at a high top table. The stage was elevated so there weren't any bad seats. The duo singing both had amazing voices and put their own spin on each song. I've been to several Candlelight events but the one here a La Maison Rouge was my favorite. I hope to come back for more events.

We attended a wedding event at 42West in West Midtown and had a great time. From a guest…read moreperspective, I thought this was a solid and versatile venue. Easy to get to and from, and parking wasn't bad. This is a relatively new event space on Huff Road, situated between Souper Jenny Westside and Apex West Midtown (Agavero, Twisted Soul). It opened in/around June 2021: https://www.instagram.com/p/CQw-bPWpU6_/ It shares a building with other businesses including Anadol Rug, which has been around since 1984. The 42West event space is hidden. It occupies more than half of the building in the back. We mostly spent time in the indoor event space (5,800 square feet) and string-lit upper patio just outside (900 square feet). The event was an Indian sangeet and mehndi. It was a lot like an American wedding reception. There was a catered buffet dinner, performances, and dancing. Hundreds of guests attended. I thought 42West was well-suited for the amount of people, the numerous food stations, and bar (or two, I can't remember). Caterers and other vendors parked their trucks and vehicles in the small parking lot in front of the building. Guests parked across the street at 1075 Huff Road. Check out 42West's Instagram to get a good feel for what the spaces (mainly the indoor space) can look like: https://www.instagram.com/42westentertainmentgroup/ 42West is named after co-owner Kevin Willis' jersey number 42 and the westside of Atlanta. As a longtime San Antonio Spurs and Atlanta Hawks fan, I thought this was an interesting fact. Co-owner and event planner Lauren Pelissier brought the vision of 42West to life and runs the show.

Once the wedding was over, they opened up the curtain and we saw the tables for the reception, bartender, etc. So it was nice not having to get in a car, and drive to another place, or catch an Uber to another location. I do love the rustic Steampunk look of the place which added some charm. I will say, the best place to take pictures is out in the small front entrance areas under the string lights at night. The pictures will look much better. The only issue I had was the male restroom smelled like urine, so they do need somebody to come in with some bleach, and clean the bathroom, behind the toilet, walls, etc. #2024-5 #5034
