Extremely disappointing experience with Spruce Medspa. I would absolutely NOT recommend this practice.
I was talked into trying Letybo instead of Botox after my injector assured me that it worked just as well, lasted just as long, and would simply give me a slightly softer result. That was absolutely not my experience.
After the first treatment, I had virtually NO improvement in my 11 lines or crow's feet, while at the same time my eyes began looking noticeably droopy. I returned to the office expecting them to correct the problem. Instead, I received even MORE product and PAID AGAIN -- only to have the same lack of results and an even worse appearance around my eyes.
But the treatment itself isn't even the most unacceptable part of this experience. It was the complete lack of accountability afterward.
When I called the office, the receptionist actually argued with me and told me there was nothing they could do. I then spoke with the manager, who told me she would speak with the doctor about making this right and call me back.
That call NEVER came.
I had to call them again myself, only to be told that the doctor had decided there was "nothing they could do."
So after being told this product would perform like Botox, paying for the original treatment, returning because it didn't work, PAYING AGAIN for additional product, still getting no meaningful improvement, and being unhappy with the appearance of my eyes, their final response was essentially: too bad.
That is unacceptable customer service from a business providing expensive cosmetic medical treatments.
I completely understand that no cosmetic procedure can guarantee a perfect result and that every person can respond differently. What I do expect, however, is professionalism, accountability, appropriate follow-up, and some effort to make things right when a patient has a legitimate concern -- especially after that patient has already paid twice.
Instead, I was dismissed.
Save your money and go somewhere that actually values its patients and stands behind the services it provides. I certainly will not be returning. read more
