I sat in the waiting area for the entire duration of what was supposed to be my booking time. Eden never came out to provide the service that I was booked for. I went back to the front desk and told them that I was leaving because I had to be somewhere and that I was expecting to be done in the allotted time for my appointment. She said "oh she never came out and got you" and I said no that's why I'm leaving. Needless to say this was not a good first experience and I was very disappointed.

Therefore, I made sure to specifically, and in full detail, describe exactly what I wanted before she began with the scissors. For some unknown reason, my style request brought about laughter and mockery? However, I ignored this rudeness and hoped for the best. I did not get the best. Once my hair was dry, I was unceremoniously run out of the hair cutting area by the stylist and not asked to take a look at the outcome, presumably so she could move onto the next victim. Upon arrival back home, I closely reviewed the cut and saw that it was clearly uneven in several different areas. I pulled out my own scissors and decided that I would attempt to "fix" it. That was not working at all so I knew that I would have to book another appt somewhere else. I spent an hour the next day reviewing "reviews" of local stylists at other salons...and...by the grace of God, found an incredible stylist. BTW, the new stylist was stunned at the ineptitude of the cut that I had received the day before, noticing also that the underneath layer of my hair was actually shorter than the top layer? This story has a happy ending because I found a fantastic stylist who is actually kind and super sweet. And she also took the time to carefully listen to my hairstyle request and gave me the best haircut of my life! Yay!

First, let me start out by saying that when others mentioned booking issues - I can see how that may be an issue because this is a small location. We had a mid-week, afternoon appointment scheduled - and it seemed like he had no issue at all booking. The "cupping" was interesting - and Kris did an excellent job. Unlike large scale spa's, she took the time to get to know me and the issues I had been having with my headaches. She took the time to work on one area, which was my neck, first. The neck massage that I received was out of this world. Not only did Kris use cupping techniques, she used hot stones, and provided THE BEST massage that I have ever had. (I have to say, though, I think it's a bit silly that Massage Envy allowed anything to expire this year given the circumstances; there's no way my relative was the only one who avoided normal interactions this year due to their age and health concerns.) Following the above backstory, I received multiple massages throughout the summer. At the risk of sounding snobby, they weren't the best ones I've had, BUT that could admittedly be my fault. I benefit from massages that start with a lighter touch and get stronger as we go along. I thought I communicated this during my visits, but I never really got the deeper massage I really craved. Again, I'm not sure if the breakdown in communication was on my end or not. That said, the staff have always kept things running efficiently and on time, and the space itself is very relaxing. Some things have had to change due to COVID, of course; for example, enjoying a drink in the waiting room is a big no no right now. I went to the Bethel Park location and worked with Tina, who is fabulous, until I maxed out their laser. Then I was sent to their other location in Cranberry. My tattoo was small and had some light color (pink & orange). Tina was great and went over everything with me about the procedure before she started. She offered numbing cream but it wasn't needed because my tattoo was so small and treatments took less than a minute. Did it hurt? Yes! Was it worth it? Absolutely! I'd do it again in a heartbeat. It did take several treatments over about a year and a half time span. Best advice I can give is to be patient. Laser tattoo removal takes time and the more color you have/the bigger your tattoo, the longer it may take. Colored tattoos are stubborn and take longer to fade. My finger looks great. You can't even tell I had a tattoo there anymore. I definitely recommend Body Beautiful for laser tattoo removal and would go back if I had others I wanted to remove.
