I use SprinklerMan for both starting up/blowing out our sprinkler system as well as fertilizing. The people that are sent out every year to start the system up actually check each zone for misaligned or damaged heads, and the repair costs for anything that needs replacing are always minimal (pretty much the cost of the part at Lowes). Also, when they installed my system (11 zones over half an acre), I was given several options for cost vs efficiency, and their crew that showed up was professional and working at 6am. The estimate I had been given assured me that it would only take a day, and by 6pm, they were cleaning up and explaining the various features and capabilities of the controller. The lawn fertilization is where I really have come to enjoy them. I always try to shop and hire local, and over the years it seems that lawn fertilization has become my annoyance. Whether it is Trugreen/Chemlawn, Scott's, or the local mom and pop shop, no one arrives on time. The treatments start a month late, then no one shows up for two months, and when I do call to inquire where they are, the services typically give me the same response - 'Oh, we were coming out in two days'. Then at the end of the year, I get three treatments in rapid succession. Spinklerman shows up in the Spring as the ground is getting up to the proper temperature, their applications have the proper 6 week spacing, and when they complete the application, their staff cleans up the sidewalks and driveway of any excess. Very poor customer service from management, office staff and installers. To start with, our electrical lines were damaged when installing and they refused to pay to fix them. Then when the installers came out to do Spring set up they didn't even tell us they were leaving and left the office garage wide open, storage room wide open when we have clients that come to our office building. Then dealing with Teresa through emails she has had awful customer service. I signed a contract for 2020 season and they are refusing to do winterization because they aren't servicing Austin anymore. Terrible experience. Hired them to come out and do a start up on a house we purchased. When they did there were a few problems/ leaks which was to be expected with a system that had not been turned on in a while and they expected that it would cost around $500 to get it up and running. They came out a week later and stayed for about an hour and replaced a couple of the heads, fittings, etc. . I asked the tech when they would be out again to finish the job and he said that the main office would be in touch to schedule the follow up visit. A couple weeks went by and I sent an email to their main office with no response. After 5 unanswered emails I gave up hope of them ever getting back to me. Fast forward two months and I received a bill for $350. When I called the office to ask when they would be back to finish the work, they said they would have someone call be back. The owner Bard called me, I let him know that I was frustrated that no one had returned my emails about when they would be back to finish the work they started. He went on with some excuse about how they had been so busy they couldn't finish all of the jobs (which is fine if you are busy, but don't start jobs you cant finish). With the invoice in front of me I began to ask him questions to make sure that I understood what I was being charged for, he interrupted me every time I began to speak and would talk over me before I could even finish the question that I was asking. That phone call ended with him saying that if I wanted to "cut my losses" with the system it would be the $90 start up fee (which I was okay with because I expected to pay it regardless). I received the follow up invoice 15min later and it was reduced to $230, I sent an email to office saying that this did not look right since the person I spoke with said it would be $90, Bard called me back a few minutes later saying that I needed to pay for all the work they did while they were here (this was the question I kept trying to clarify with him while we were on the phone previously, but he clearly did not even have my invoice in front of him). Overall extremely disappointed, terrible customer experience. Would not recommend. read more

Excellent service and very friendly! They came out to shut us down last year and open us up again this year! Very patient with a new home owner learning the system for the first time! We are lifers for sure! read more

Terrible customer service. Came out for the spring startup and told us turning the system on wasn't part of their job. Their response to the feedback was that they would no longer service our system and to find someone else. read more
