As of 5/5/2021, this business should NEVER be used. They are a seller of Pella windows yet do absolutely nothing to help with Pella issues. The very, very rude representative who answered the phone first told me that to get a replacement part "you need to find your own 'in' to the company (since Pella refuses to take calls)" and when I said that was ridiculous she said "Really, there are more important things to get upset about". I would not use this company and I would not purchase Pella Windows. BTW - the owner just called me after I placed my review to defend his company's treatment of me, and then said "I will have my attorney contact you" I see this company has poor ratings - go elsewhere. read more

I had an amazing experience starting with scheduling my estimate. Lynda was so friendly and accommodated my busy schedule. Bill came out to give me an estimate on my roof and 2 doors. He was so thorough and had so much knowledge of the products. He helped me pick the best doors to fit my wants and needs. The crew showed up on time and the roof was torn off cleaned up and a new one put on in no time! I Love my doors, they are beautiful and operate flawlessly. They came to town after the Tornadoes came through. Try to get them to do some work for us asked for a bid according to Bill that is not how they do jobs we're just supposed to write them a check for the deductible and they take care of the rest with the insurance company. After repeating that I wanted a bid for the job I got one there more than $16,000 higher than the next company then he charge me for the dumpster that he had brought that I never ordered. He asked if I was all right for him to start on Monday I said no I have a different contractor to do the job he asked then about another project that we had I said I want a bid for that project he said he'll pass doesn't want to do the work for us. I would never recommend working with Bill or this company they are storm chasers and want to charge your insurance company as much as they can read more

They contacted us (unasked) by phone three days ago, asking to come over and give us an estimate. I explained we are not having anybody at our home during the Covid-19 outbreak, and to please take us off their phone list. They contacted us yesterday. I re-explained we are keeping social distance, and again asked them to take us off their phone list. They contacted me today and hung up as I was, again, asking them to not call. read more

The people at Minnesota's 1st Choice were great to work with from the first home visit to project completion! They sent me a detailed estimate shortly after the site visit and were then available for questions on the estimate and changes. Once the bid was accepted they clearly communicated when they would come to do the work. The team that installed the windows showed up with a positive attitude (much appreciated when you have people working in your home!) and were happy to answer any questions I had or make small adjustments as requested. They put extra care into the installation including fixing some rot on one window sill that they could have just covered up and ignored. Highly recommended! read more

We are so grateful to Tom for his recent service. Tom installed our new entry door on our home and the project came out absolutely beautiful. Tom went above and beyond to help us and was very knowledgeable about the door her was installing. He showed up on time and got started very promptly. We chose to work with them because of their knowledge and genuine care for doing their work right. We are first time home buyers so we had no idea what the process was of getting a new door installed.We ended up contacting Minnesota 1st Choice for a quote and Bill showed up in a timely fashion and helped us every step of the way. Minnesota's First Choice did an AMAZING job on my Windows & doors at a very reasonable price.  The employees were very respectful & friendly & worked hard to get the job done even though they ran into a few issues as my doors were installed poorly prior to me purchasing the home.  Minnesota's First Choice easily overcame the issues & I couldn't be happier with the results!  I love coming home & admiring how great my home now looks!  I couldn't be more satisfied & plan on hiring them again for new siding in the near future!!  Great company!! read more
