I used their service to help reconnect our sprinklers after installing a pool. Spent $500 for them to reconnect the wires. My husband and I ended up reconnecting everything else. I would recommend set up the consult first. Awesome company and service. Friendly and professional staff. Abby helped schedule the appointment and explained the costs over the phone and reconfirmed by text message. We have an older sprinkler system with some of the controllers underground and surrounded by concrete in a very small space. (Yeah, that's how they did it in the olden days!) One of the controllers had finally given out and it looked almost impossible to fix. We usually do our own sprinkler repairs, but even we would not attempt this fix. We were unsure if the time had come to redo the entire sprinkler system. Richard arrived as scheduled and explained a work around that would not involve redoing the entire sprinkler system. Late to appt. Pleasant workers. Opened up ground to see problem. Tried to fix problem. Not honest about 'the fix' they did when they came back to fix leaking pipes. Charged us again for service call 2nd time they came out- they told us we needed a plumber. Plumber reaffirmed the pipe was pulled into alignment which broke it at the 90 degree angle causing a leak. Shady business tactics. Beware. Sprinkler Medic was called to evaluate sprinkler repairs. I asked about a blocked drain. They recommended to put a camera down the drain. Over the phone, I told the women in the office the drain was blocked about a foot into the entrance - most entrances were the same and the yard floods. They continued to recommend putting a camera down the drain to see what was blocking the entrance. In the "report" they provided, it said exactly what I had told them, it was block a foot into the drain. I said Sprinkler Medic provided no new information but they wanted to be paid $255 for that information. I said you told me nothing I didn't already know. The camera could not go any further down the drain and that was all they could do! I called the office. Tim at Sprinkler Medic did not listen to me and talked over me during our entire phone call. He only wants to hear himself talk. I asked him to listen and he continued to talk over me. I politely said I have no interest in continuing a conversation when I am not heard. Via e-mail, he threaten to send me to collections within 7 days of the date of invoice, if I did not pay the amount due. Aggressive! Then I received an crazy quote to do the job to take out all the drains in my yard. They wanted $11,200. I received another quote from another company for $2000. If you want to be overcharged this is the company for you. And don't expect them to listen to you, only Tim gets to speak. read more

Not sure what I paid for when they came. Two valves on our timer were not working and we asked them to make the repair and check all of the other stations. Here we are a week later and our lawn is dying. I checked the timer valves and the station they told us watered the section of lawn and of course, it was not working and was mis-wired. Paid the $255 to have them out to figure out what's going on in our yard with the drainage issue. The techs seemed new/inexperienced because they didn't really provide us any answers, even with putting the camera down the drain, so the appointment was essentially useless, the report was vague, and that was back in April. Someone came out on May 3rd to do an estimate, and still haven't received it. Called on Friday morning May 12th, wondering about the quote. They called us back and said there's nothing they can about our issue..kind of seemed like a lazy response. read more

Great service! The team went above and beyond to diagnose and fix our broken sprinkler system. Our irrigation to lawn and veggie garden pooped out (when it was 100 degrees out of course) and after carefully inspecting the entire system (piping, wiring, controller), The SM team determined there was a disconnect in this crazy web of wires under the house that previous owners had jury-rigged over time. The team rewired the irrigation and reestablished all the connections, and helped me test all the programs to confirm success before leaving. The team was friendly and professional. A week later and I return home and found the valves are not operating / opening for at least the last two weeks and my lawn is no dying. Unreliable and rude. I made an appt with Rick for landscape design. He was booked so I had to wait 3.5 weeks for him to come out. The evening before my apt he requested to come out, I was at work, so I declined. Then he told me, well I'm not going to be in town for your apt so "thanks for understanding". I don't understand, it's rude not to keep an apt that's been booked that long without explanation. He was rude and unapologetic. I called the office and spoke to someone who didn't apologize either and said a manager would call me. They didn't. So I called the next day and spoke to woman who took my info but also didn't seem to care or apologize. Customer service tip: do what you say you're going to, if you don't apologize even if you didn't make the mistake personally, then see what you can do to make it right. They didn't do anything.
