After I wrote this, I noticed one place we'd all forgotten in my yard. I called back after the service and asked that they come back out and fix it because it was in a huge mud hole in my back yard. Garrett came out and explained why there was a hole and what we might do to fix it. He dug up some rocks out of a pile in the yard and filled it and put some dirt back over it and tested it, advising me to resod that section. Since it was in my original list of things wrong, he said he wouldn't charge me for it, which I appreciated greatly. Garret's service is amazing. He did a great job updating my sprinkler system. He is quick to respond. He showed up for the estimate and job right on time. Great communication. His prices are competitive and he will work to keep costs in line. We also hired him to fix standing water in our yard. We had drains installed on both sides of our yard. (One side a French drain, the other a series of catch basins). Months later and still happy with the results. No more mud puddles for the dogs to dirty their paws! Garret responded amazingly fast to my 8:30PM call. He arrived promptly at 9AM the next morning. He did an A+ repair for a leaking sprinkler head, which was caused by a leaking control valve for that circuit. He replaced the faulty control valve, cleaned out 3 neglected control valve cylinders, based all with pea gravel, supplied 3 new cylinder covers he carried on his truck, replaced all dirt removed and the inspected the operation of all heads and rotors on the entire system. He gave good advice on adjusting and setting the control box cycles. An excellent, top-notch experience of diagnosis, repair and instructions for $295, a very fair price for service beyond my original problem. He texted the invoice for my records in 30 minutes. Garret's Repair Fix will definitely be who I will call to do any more irrigation system work that may be required! read more

Highly recommend Garret for sprinkler repair in Houston. After a utility company came into my yard and completely destroyed it, the sprinkler system was pretty destroyed. The electrical was cut in multiple places, heads destroyed, piping cut... it was a lot of work. In addition, this was at a rental property, so because I did not live there - I was heavily relying on whichever contractor I hired to communicate thoroughly any issues, recommend resolutions, and work with me to manage the fix through text / phone. Garret worked quickly, coming out the same day to quote the work and fix all of the electrical and piping work. He came back the next business day to do a full inspection and ensure that anything else that I had not personally brought to his attention was remedied as well. My husband's family owns company that specializes in sprinkler repair, so he is familiar with whether or not the costs would be fair. They approved everything Garret charged for this extreme amount of work. The cost was fair and in line with what the industry would expect. Had 4 sprinkler rotors that suddenly - no water - no pop up. He responded my YELP request first and came out within 45 minutes. Garrett is able to see the entire picture when it comes to problem solving. Able to change out my defective valve. Now rotors are running fine. He was able to inspect entire system.
